I'm 26 years old and pretty lonely. I'm finding it harder as I grow older to make and keep good, healthy friends. My best friend has a problem communicating and being around when I need her. I always feel like I'm only here for her comfort and it really sucks. She's always just so flighty and in and out of my life. I guess we are friends when it suits her needs. I don't know how to go about telling her how I feel about it.
I guess the bigger problem is that I really don't have any other friends. I don't know where to start making them either. I am a queer femme and it seems my community is pretty cliquish. It sucks and I hate being lonely.
I would love it if you had any advice to offer.
Im sorry :( i think you should find a job or group were you could meet people. You need to be very friendly and some what outgoing. If your shy people might think that you dont want to be there friends [[if thats the type of people they are]] Maybe hang out with your friend's friends and they'll become your friends to. Then you will be included in there group :) i hope for the best x0x

Well,a VERy good look is-- Hair near the sholdier,maybe two inches away,and peeka boo bangs [[side swiped;to the right or left side]]Then layer all over,and different lenths in the back. This is a cute hott summer look! [[looks great when blow-dryed!]],look for side swiped bangs or maybe "summer hair styles"

If you are pale,i could say brown and stuff..i think its mean how people call other people posers...even tho it might be true this isnt that bad i've seen worse hun. Plus its not like thats the only reason you want to dye your hair right? Well i think blonde is such an awesome hair color!! i mean so what if they call u a dumb blonde! just make it a joke!! besides it wont matter anyways..they'll probably call u blonde at heart! If you like red and brown..i would say go for a mix! like a red/brown that looks really pretty with brown eyes! But if you have blue eyes dont go for that look..if you have blue eyes go for a pretty natral color red or stay with blonde..or go with brown!

OK so im having a party soon ( a sweet 16) and i realllly need a head count of who can come. normallyy if we were making all the food i wouldnt care ..but its going to be catered so if i tell them 80 are coming and only 30 show up...that wont be good...lots of food will be wasted...and lottss of money.

I have really curly hair. I want to be a straightening iron around $100 since the last straightening iron I got (wet2set $30) leaves my hair looking really dried out & fried. Does anyone know of a flat iron around my price range that we'll leave my hair looking healthier than the cheap one? Thanks!
ok,it isnt the straightener as it is the shampoos and condistioners. Well.i use brilliant Brunette shampoo because im bunette[[sp?]] and you can get Brilliant Blonde to. and all the colors in between.Its a really good shampoo..you could also use leave-in-condistioner. =)
Ive always had a small group of friends that all got along. Well in the past 3 days it all fell apart. One friend got mad at me for something totally retarded, and then all of a sudden the other friend had a problem with me too. Now come to find out they've been talking behind my back about it. Im not saying they're totally at fault for whats going on because I know I am partly responsible for it, but I dont see why they couldnt come to me and say whatever it is they had to say instead of ganging up on me and then talking behind my back. I just dont know what to do. Ive tried talking to them about it and that didnt make anything better they just acted as if I was full of it and ignored what I said. So should I just give up on 2 people who were my bestfriends and get over it, or keep trying no matter how bad things already are? Please help. And if anyone wouldn't mind it would be easier to give off the whole situation over aim to give a better view point. Thanks again everyone.
WOW...you are in THE EXACT SITUATION as my friend...and im one of the two best friends she lost. I wonder if you are her..i guess i'll find out when you take the peoples advice or not huh. Well i was the one she lost..because my friend,who was in your situation,was a mean person and alls she did was ignore me and talk crap. She never paid attension to this though. So i gave up on her. But i still like her..shes not a bad person if she wasnt so mean we'd still be friends. But i would say..if i were you..to forget about them..if they dont like you,just stop trying..far to many people try to impress others.
and ps--dont take the first persons advice--you shouldnt be like them,that makes EVERYTHING worse..thats not nice and sooner or later they'll find out,plus its bitchy to rip friends aparts for your likeing..things will be worse if you do that.

No i dont think so...if your short like me then being 78 pounds is just right. If your 4"11 u might be on the skinny side but its not VERY under weight..and is your 5"2 i WOULD say you are under weight..it all depends on your height.

Im writeing a paper on second hand smoke and weather or not people should be aloud to smoke in public places ( resterunts, bars, amusment parks, ect. )and i need peoples opinioins..

I think it should be banned. The same chemicals go into your bodys if you are near a smoker,than they do with the actual smoker. Also kids dont want to be breathing in this stuff. It can lead to cancers, bad breath ,yellow/brown stains on teeth and fingers,and wrinkles. But i only think it should be banned in retraunts and some parts of the amusment parks. Bars could be aloud because childen usually dont go in bars.

recently my friend and I have been stealing a lot. it's like every store we go to, we almost always steal atleast 1 thing. we steal simple things, like make up, food, skin care products... when she first told me that she stole things with her friend a few months ago, I laughed at the idea and I couldn't believe they were so.. bad. but when I saw them in action, I realized how easy it was. I only steal when I'm with that friend, and even though now I'm better than her at doin it, I still feel extreme guilt sometimes. she doesn't feel any regrets at all. I kno I should stop, but I just wanna kno if any of you have stolen things and have gotten caught doing it, and what were the concequences. I will stop eventually... but it's really fun and easy. if my parents even found out, they would literally disown me

i baby sat this little boy a few months back and i met his brother at the same time one time we were out walking and he told me that his bro had wrote a suacide letter i didnt believe him.. but i've started hangin out with his brother whos my age, when i looked for a top in his drawer i found this note book i read the first line saw it was the letter, then he turned around and goes do u mind, so i put it back, but im really worried now i dont know whether to tell him i know, just be a friend and try to help him without telling him, maybe see if i can read the letter when he aint in his room some time i duno please help!

What i would do is ask him this -- "can i change into a shirt in your room?" and if he says "sure" then lock the door or tell him to not come in because your changeing then look for it...in the draw,if its not there then please dont be looking every where for it. But then,if it IS the letter...you could either--
Say to him -- "I know what you wrote in a letter--and i just want you to no im always there for u and i hope you do the write thing"
or--

My period started early today and im going shopping tomorrow!! It wouldnt be a problem or anything but i have really heavy periods and the 2nd day is always the heaviest. Tomorrow is gonna be the 2nd day! im not calling it off because i cant let my friends down and ive wanted to get some cds and stuff im buying tomorrow for ages. any suggestions, like how i can cope and what i should do?! and when i say heavy i mean really heavy as have to use night pads in the day and change them every 2 hours.

i'd like to know if it is wrong to donate your eggs/semen to couples who cannot copulate in exchange for money. i have this really good friend but lately she has been acting different. she says she cuts but i dont know if she is lying because i do cut or she really does. i asked her what she "cut" with and she said i dont remember and she like never has any marks on her. I would like a second opinion because she wont tell me if she is lying or not and i think she is.
