is she cutting?
i have this really good friend but lately she has been acting different. she says she cuts but i dont know if she is lying because i do cut or she really does. i asked her what she "cut" with and she said i dont remember and she like never has any marks on her. I would like a second opinion because she wont tell me if she is lying or not and i think she is.

Well she might just be trying to get attention for herself. But on the other hand she just might not do it where people can see her cuts. Ask her to show you them and ask her why she does it. If she dosnt show you then she might be lying. If she has no good reason then she is probally doing for attention. hope i helped

well people can cut other places besides their wrists...I've heard of people cutting on their stomachs or legs..so unless you've seen ALL of her body i wouldnt be so sure yet...and i would say that wether shes lying or not..saying shes a cutter is a cry for help...i would tell her parents or something..i know it seems like the most "uncool" thing to do but believe me..one day your friend will thank you..i used to be suicidal and for the longest time i hated my friend for telling our school counsler...but i hate myself even more for ever wishing i was dead because i would have missed out on so much...but like i said..you seriously need to have a talk with your friend..just sit her down and explain that you really care about her safety and her and that if shes lying she should stop..talk to her first..and then if you find out its true..NO MATTER WHAT or no matter how many times she begs you NOT to tell....DO tell...would you really want your friend dead?

she may be cutting somewhere else..even if shes not cutting, shes obviously feeling insecure because she feels the need to lie about something so serious to get attention..i wouldnt tell her shes lying..i would treat her as if shes really doing it because even if shes not..theres a screw loose up there because people dont just say they are cutting to get attention (well they do...) but its nott healthy to. set up a meeting with the guidance counselor in school to talk with hher

Well,it is personal bisness..and maybe she cuts were no one can see? [[like near her private..]] and i really dont think she would lie about something like that,but thats just me. I really hope you stop cutting,just remember this phrase --who knows what could happen do what you do just keep on laughin im telling you theres always a brand new dayy-- it gets me by. Also my health teacher said.."lifes going to throw you a bunch of wild cards some are good some are bad but just remember it cant be bad for long" i really hope she dosent cut though! Why do you care? Are you afraid she's going to say she's cutting so you'll think she's cool or something? Why would someone lie about cutting? If they do, then they're a sicko or desperate for attention. Just don't bother her about it. Cutting is NOT a good thing, no need to encourage her to actually start cutting if she's not already.

it sounds like she wants attention, yes i know its harsh but thats what i think, i know people that did cut and they did it for attention because it was stuff like they carved an X on their arm,but i dont really know her so maybe look at her arms, and if she wears a lot of long sleeve shirts she might cut. talk to her to find out the truth.

She doesnt cut. She just wants attention. I mean shes like starving for some attention. You have to be able to see something on her skin to belive her. But shes lieng. ♥
