I think that you should just talk to your friend. If its earier e-mail her. Tell her whatever it is ya'll are doing isn't fun without her and you want her to come back. I also think u should tell the other friend to apolgize! It might help the situation. Hope this helps sweetie! -Sonnie

well i like this guy alot. he's real close 2 me and we have been best friends for a year now. i gave him some clues about who i like and i dont think he has any idea that its him. i think he likes me 2 cuz he said he liked someone 2. and when he gave me some clues it sounded like me. but how do i tell him i like him w/o gettin hurt. i dont want 2 ruin my friendship with him. please help me. Sweetie! He's your best friend! That is the best person in the world to go out w/ (believe me I know from experience!) He definitly likes u if he's droppin hints! So just bring it up to him. Just ask him "so hows your little love life" or something like that and then all playfully be like "dude, what if it was u i liked?" and just be real playful about everything so just in case its not u, u can say you were kiddin around. My dad smokes a lot every day and it really bothers me and my mom and brother but mostly me. We all tell him to stop and he's always like "I will tomorrow or next week or after this and that"
And I always have to remind him to open the door or window when he's near me while he smokes...I mean he doesn't do it 24-7 and he knows when to draw the line sometimes, but it bothers me and I know he's ruining his health...not to metion I think he's ruining mine too! I suddenly can't run laps at school without me stoping breathing and it bothers me b/c it never seems like he cares...my mom stuck to her word about quitting after our cruise and I know its addicting but I want him to stop should I like hide his cigarrets from him or throw them out? What should I do? Plz help I will rate! (ps...it's embarrassing when he leaves his smokes out with the ashtray b/c my friends don't like it either :o!) (link)

Sweetie, I know how you feel. My dad is a smoker and its totally grodie! It makes the whole house smell and I devoloped asthmas from the smoking! Its better now though! i don't mean to be anti-social, but a lot of times if one of my friends calls and the phone's for me i wish that they hadn't called me and that i feel like i'd rather be lazy around the house and stuff...but i'm definitely a social person and i have a lot of fun when i go places and am around people...so i was just wondering if neone else ever feels this way or if i AM anti-social lol thnx (link)

i am a freshman going into higschool, and i have a problem w/ this girl going into 11th grade whos 2 years older than me. well back in middle school we were on the same bus, and she was really mean to me. she would SCREAM mean things to me in front of EVERYONE, like saying im ugly and stuff, and she would take my schoolbag and dump it all over the place, and she would pour soda on me.. it was humiliating.. she used to threaten to beat me up when i got off the bus, and she would have people come up to me and say shit to me. LAST YEAR I TOLD MY MOM AND SHE WENT TO THE SCHOOL AND TOLD OUR PRINCIPLE AND MADE IT WORSE CAUSE THE GIRL ONLY HARASSED ME MORE AND MORE AND PEOPLE MADE FUN OF ME... well now were gonna be on the same bus again, and i wanna know how to handle the situation. if shes yelling at me on the bus, should i say something back? ignore her? ask her if we can talk it out? or ask her why she's doing this since i didnt do anything to her?... i dont want to make her even more mad, because then she'll be worse to me. tell me how to handle it, but dont tell me to call the cops or anything, i wanna know what to do... im REALLY SCARED.. thanks (link)

Sweetie, I had the same problem! I have always been semi*shy and there was this group of girls who I hung out w/. Well eventually one of them heard I was screwing her b/f or some crap like that and they all turned against me! Especailly this one girl! She would torture me. I was so upset that I would NEVER feel like going to school or to places I used to love b/c I knew she would be there! I tried ignoring her and that only made the situation worse! I had to step up! One day she commented on my g-pa (who is in a wheel*chair and had just died) and on my other set of grandparents (who are both deaf) this really pushed me over the edge and we ended up fighting! (We yelled back and forth before that!) I was so scared to fight her but I really dont remember much from the fight! I got hit a few times and it didn't hurt, I was just so angry I was basiclly numb! But afterwards she never bothered me anymore! Of corce they still spread rumors and crap but I was still more popular than her so it was ll good! You just have to do what you feel is right! Don't back down to her! It will only make you look like a coward and invite more problems. Stand up to her! Even if ya*ll get in a fight and loose she won't mess w/ u anymore, b/c she knows you'll do something!!! ok...i need help!!! lyk in the movire thirteen...the girl tracy and her mom dont get along and lyk i sorta dont get along with my mom...and we fight over lyk the stupidest things and im just afraid that me and my mom are gonna fight as bad as tracy and her mom...and i never ever want that to happen!!!! also, im afraid the peer pressure is gona get me into drugs and sex and lyk smoking...and im sooo scared and i dont want that to happen AT ALL!!!! this sucks balls. You have nothing to worry about! Your a teen! No daughters like their mom's when their teens! Especailly not 13 or 14! Don't worry it will get better, just give it time. Me and my mom are the same way! Now about the peer pressure thing! Girly, u seem like u have a good head on your shoulders and you should have nothing to worry about! Look at it like this smoking just flat out stinks and doens't look the slightest bit attractive!, drugs will kill ya!, and drinking....well lets put it like this, I know how stupid ppl act when they drink, now do u really wanna have to call someone the next day and say "Dude, I'm sorry I peed on your dog?" lol. I have a serious issue with cocaine. The saying is "If you've tried it once, you are addicted", and I am no exception. I tried it for my first time around February earlier this year. I then stopped for about 1 1/2-2 months when a lot of my friends and peers were doing it. Then another break, and then about 2 weeks ago I started summer school in a suburb town of my city, and my class was full of coke heads, which then made it extremely dificult cause I either got it free, cheap, or very easily. What would be some good advice to quit and/or avoid peer humilition because of the issue. Thank you. (link)

Sweetie, this is a major issue. Your smart enough to see that. What you really need to do is check into a rehab! I know you don't want to but its best! You need to get away from all the coke heads and druggies. The more your around, the better chance you have of doing it. I can give you more advice but I need to know a few answers....who was on coacaine that caused your family to divorce? How often do you do it? How long where you in rehab? How old are you? I went to the website for Planned Parenthood (Thanks to Druidx) and found one very close by. The only reason I wanted to go was to get birth control and tested for STD's without my parents knowing, but you still have to get a parent consent form filled out unless you live by yourself or dont have parents. Is there anyway to swindle out of it? I cant tell my parents, the whole idea of me going was to not let them know.. (link)

Well look up health departments in your area. Most health departments keep everything totally confindencial! Just between you and the doctor! They can usually give you the birth control for free but you will have to take a blood test (which will check you for STD's) and give you an 'exam' (all for free). Well people start at all diffrent ages! There is proably nothing wrong with you! Discharge is normal, it happens to all girls, this is just your bodies way of getting rid of extra fluids, but it could also be the sign of a yeast infection (if u have itching or burning you should see your doctor) Another thing you should look for is headaches or serious stomach cramping. If you have either of these problems you should see a doctor. A doctor can prescribe you a pill that will make you start and ease the aches and pains! No need to worry. Alright. I'm fourteen-years-old and I'm a Freshman, this year, in High School; just to give you an idea of where I am, as far as maturing goes.
No one has ever really spoken to me about health and growing. And I suppose I'll end up learning about this in Sex Ed. but I figured I would get advice, now, anyways.
This afternoon, I started noticing a soreness on the sides and tops of my breasts. I'm not entirely sure what this soreness means or whether or not it's a good thing so that's where I need help.
Is it normal to have sore breasts? Do you get 'growing pains' as you mature, on your chest?

Sweetie, that is totally normal. Usually when you get soreness it means your about to start your period or that you may be growin in that area.

I have a friend who has/had the same problem! Gaining weight is sometimes as hard as loosing! The best thing to do is eat fatty foods (and no I dont mean ice cream. ha!) Eat things like patatos, meat, ect. Also another problem my friend faced was being flat chested and having no curves as well!! Well you can get a padded bra! Not too padded, just a lil so you have something poking out there! ha! Also when you try on jeans or shirts, look and see if they give you curves. You want your jeans tight around the thighs but flaring at the bottom! For shirts you want to wear a style that goes in at your stomach so you like you have something up top, t*shirts are great, ect! i want to paint my room black, and then splat paint it with bright pink. i thin kit would look awsome!!it would really reflect my wild, punk personality..im sure it would. but my mom says she will never paint my room black. i get soooooo pissed off!!!! nop matter what i do she always says no. i want the theme to be pink and black no matter what. please tell me what to do or how to get my mom to consider it!!!

Have you tried asking her about painting your walls pink and splattering on lots of black paint or have you even condidered that an option? Hey Kate! Well I love that you thought about doing your room in pink! That's what color my room is currenly and I love it. You really need to go with a color you like, feel comfy with, and lots of stuff matches! Some great examples are pink, blue, red, ect! Don't let anyone talk you out of it! The color you should paint your room should represent you! Once you find out what color your going to paint it, let me know and I'll give ya some tips on decorations! Okay, you can find cheap*y t*shirts at Wal*Mart. They may be in the guys section so if your a girl you may want to buy them smaller than what you actually wear. Oh and by the way, is this a guy or a girl? Lemme know and I could give you some cute ideas for what to paint on them!!! ;D
