i need help
hey im a 15 year old girl and i need sum ideas for my room ! i wanted to do it pink but now im not sure plz help

I used to have pink walls, but that got kindof old after awhile. So, what I did was I painted my walls a creme color, got border with pinks and yellows in it, with a matching comforter, pillows, bed skirt, etc. I also painted the white blades of my fan with pink and yellow, and the design is polka dots and zig zag stripes. There are accent pieces around the room to pick up each color. So, I guess what me sharing my example is trying to say is that.. tone down the pink. Get colors you like and colors that you can bare to live with for the next however many years. Sorry if I didn't help, but I hope someone gives you good ideas! Have fun. =)

pink would be awesome! i say do your walls hot pink, and then have orange curtains. orange & pink look really good together, it's so hot! lol have your bed have orange in it and maybe an orange & pink area rug .. just suggestions lol =) have fun!

Hey Kate! Well I love that you thought about doing your room in pink! That's what color my room is currenly and I love it. You really need to go with a color you like, feel comfy with, and lots of stuff matches! Some great examples are pink, blue, red, ect! Don't let anyone talk you out of it! The color you should paint your room should represent you! Once you find out what color your going to paint it, let me know and I'll give ya some tips on decorations! Pink? Perfect! I have a great idea... why dont you go ahead and paint the walls like a magenta, do big white polka dots, and then get silver or gold sparkle spray and spray down the walls. You can also sponge paint. Looking for a theme? Try doing french cafe, or marilyn monroe, or something really girly. Take an old lamp and cover it with 'sticky fabric' (you can buy it in walmart or craft stores, its dirt cheap and sooo pretty) or you can sew on some beads to dangle from the bottem. There is a variety of things to do! Try using fake flowers and look at teen pottery barn... your options are open! *Good Luck* xoxo

Personally, pink is my favorite color, and what i have done in my room is Blue background with pink featherdusting. What you do is get a featherduster, which is like a thing you dust with, (get it at the dollarstore, or anywhere) And just play around with it on some paper, until you get the design you want, And i also cut out pink stars from a posterboard, and put them all around my room, its very cheap, and looks so cute. It could be done in any color thou.

if you want to paint your walls then pick a light color you like..then you could put a darker version of that color on an area rug..try to match your bed spread with both those colors and other things in your room..such as baby blue walls..a semi dark area rug..white or baby blue sheets and pillows and a darker comforter..any color would work with that..good luck!

Look around your room and see what colors you have. You could always have diffrent colors on the wall too. Like circles or squares of diffrent colors on top of the pink or something like that.

Well do wat ur personality is. If u like a relaxing room go for the light green, light blue those light beach colors. If u feel lyk having a room that is hyper ..party type...then orange or yellow or PINk!! do wat ur personality is. l@@k P
