i need to dress up like a celebrity (old or new) and i have really dark hair and eyes. who should i be? if you can help w/ what i should wear, etc. that'd be awesome! also if you can think of something for my friend to be also, maybe that would go together like paris hilton and nicole richie (but not b/c i cant look like either!)
Angelina Jolie, J.Lo, Rachel McAdams.
Any/ all of those would be super cute. For Angelina or Rachel, I'd just dress in outfits they have worn in movies (Mr & Mrs. Smith or the Notebook) any movie they have been in really.
And for J.Lo, even though she's been in movies, her crazy spiced up high-maitenance outfits on the carpets are more renoun. Check pictures on google and see famous outfits people have worn that you think people would recognize. Good Luck && tell me what you choose :)
Is finding the right gift! What can I get/make for my friend for Christmas? I have no cash but I want to make something really nice. She's getting me something great for christmas so I want to get her something equally great. No scrapbooking.. she's already done that.. What can I make that's personal? Please help! I rate!
Trust me...you don't need MUCH money to gett a nice gift. All you need is atleast a little. House chores, babysitting...anything...try and find a way. I could come up with a bunch of home made ideas but you'd most likely find most of them corny. So here's what I suggest.
REMEMBER-you're gonna need atleast a LITTLE money to make something nice. You can't make SOMETHING from NOTHING.
H & M has some really great stuff. I mean really, super, cute stuff! If you go to their accesories section, they have tons of beautiful chandelier earrings and gloves and belts and hairclips! They're all really cheap like 3-5 dollars! A combination of coordinating accesories would be the cutest! Hopefully you have an H & M near you.
Worse comes to worse...and you REALLY can't buy something for her...I'd say make cookies if you can bake... or make a 'movie' basket with her fav. candy, popcorn, and maybe one or two movies she likes.
(Buying movies still costs money...but there's some cheap bargains for good movies out there...try Walmart/Target).
Good Luck && Happy Holidays.
Me and this kid have been going out for about 2 1/2 months and it doesn't seem like he's very open. He'll write me e-mails and notes saying he loves me and how great I am but he never says it in person. We've only held hands a couple times and kiss on the cheak once but he kinda missed and got my ear. Please help me to try and get him more open.
-Despret
P.S. I had my friend{prettyblonde234) wirte me this so don't think it's her.
aww-
He sounds shy && I'm sure he felt bad about missing when he kissed you. I think that's kind of sweet. Better than him being disgusting and perverted and ALL over you. There's people out there on this site complaining about clingy guys. Just be happy for what you have. He sounds sweet. Let him feel like he can open up to you in public, but if he doesn't, don't worry, not everybodies like that.
good luck && give him a chance :)
i drink diet coke all the time. my friends say it will give me cancer. is that true? becuase i dont want the calories and carbs and sugar from soda or juice but i dont love water either.
sooo is diet coke cancerous?
what are some healthy alternatines? (i dont like milk)
thanks!
First of all, life is short to begin with. My friend && her family has been thriving on diet soda for years now...so if it hasn't killed them I dont know who else it could kill. I mean, you never really know. I LOVE soda too and I still drink it but I found an AMAZING alternative is Fruit2o, or any sparkling flavored water for that matter. They have really good flavors like cherry && strawberry and they have that fizz to it just like soda...it's the perfect thing to drink in lieu of diet coke. I know Walmart carries sparkling flavored water like Fruit2o but really cheap if you wanna check that out. It has no calories or sugar or any of that!
Good Luck! (And by the way...soda every now and then will NOT hurt you...just limit the amount you have is all, dont let it be the only thing you drink)
Okay...well I've been dating this wonderful guy....*Mark* for 4 months now..and we haven't even made out. Yeah..sounds pathetic I know, but we cuddle and hug and you know...it's nice, but I just can't bring myself to make the first move..I'm so shy and so is he...HOW...help please
How the heck do I just know when to make out with him
Driving me nutsss
It's good that it's taking a long time. You might not see it, but if you rushed into it you guys would eventually get bored of it. Don't underrate the power of cuddling :-)
don't make the first move...he's a GUY he's going to do it eventually...you just have to wait and open the opportunity (be somewhere alone w/ him)
Okay so I am a freshmen and I am currently dating this guy in my class we have been going out for 2 months. I also have had a major major crush on this guy who goes to a different school and is one year older than me for the past 2 and 1/2 years. My boyfriend i love being around him and he makes me happy, but when i get home i can't stop thinking about my crush i've told my self that i have to get over him, but i can't! I know it is really stupid to be worrying about this ,but i don't think I will end up marrying my boyfriend because we just want different things. So my question is, should i continue to date my boyfriend and give us a try or should i dump him and keep looking?
If your not 100% happy...and keep thinking of someone else...you don't like your boyfriend enough and therefore should just dump him. It's not fair to him. You shouldn't worry about not MARRYING the boyfriend your with now...it's only your freshman year. The reason people even date at this age is possibly to see who they conflict/get along with. Wait it out, see if the other crush gets off your mind. I'd say wait a week or so. If time passes && things don't change, you need to do what's right and not be faking the whole time like you actually like your boyfriend.
I recently started going out with a friend of mine who I have known for about 2 years and really liked his personality, however I have only been going out with him for about 4 days and he has already become really clingy and needy, saying he misses me a lot and saying things like he only wants to talk to me. Its really putting me off him so how can i tell him without hurting his feelings to stop being so needy?
Just tell him nicely you really care for him, but the relationship cant be a clingy one. Just tell him occasionally you need your space and you dont mean to offend him. If that doesn't give him the hint, then maybe he's not for you.
Good Luck && let me know if you need anything.

I'm going away on a 10 day field trip with my school to Alabama ( I live in Georgia )I'm afraid of getting homesick. I used to get homesick all the time when I was little, then I just grew out of it. Now since I'm going to be away for a long time I don't know what I'm going to do. Any tips incase I get homesick?
You should most likely be fine. As long as your with all your friends & everyone you go to school with, it should honestly feel like home. You spend more time in school than at home with your family in the course of an average week. If you need to, bring a picture from home of your bedroom/house/family.
My friend *Agnes and I have never really been close, but I know most of the things that go on in her life. She has a myspace and has tons of people on there that she goes to shows with and hangs out with. I want to be as outgoing as her, but I don't want to do it through myspace. I mean it's harder for me because I am afraid of being rejected. I'm not as pretty or skinny as her and I am not"scene" so people don't make it a point to talk to me. How do I get up the courage to talk to people, mainly boys, and what do I say?
Natural is better. Be just the way you normally are at home with your family or out with your friends that are girls in front of guys. I mean some people for whatever reason just draw boys to them with a lot of ease. There is no 'getting up the courage'...just believe in yourself. Believe that you can flaunt your better attributes because there's really nothing she holds over you.
good luck!
I'm an 18-year-old female and lately my hair has been falling out like crazy. It's mostly when I brush it but even with just running my hand threw it, some still comes out. When I run my hand threw it's maybe like, 6 strands or so. But, when brushing it's like a wad of hair.
My hair used to be really thick and now it's like half of what it used to be about 7 months ago. That's alot of hair to loose!! I'm really scared because it seems like I'm going bald of something. My friends say it's stress but quite honestly, I have nothing to be stressed about!
Does anyone have any ideas???
Maybe your subconciously stressing from everyday life. Do you have a busy schedule? Well, I'm not a doctor, but I'd say definitely go to one before the situation worsens. Another cause of hair loss is malnutrition...are you getting the proper amounts of food to eat? A doctor might be able to help you stop whatever the situation may be. Definitely go if possible.
What are some good things to talk about with your boyfriend ?
Just for the 411...and this is the damned honest truth...if you don't know what to talk about with him...chances are there's something wrong. Like, maybe you shouldn't be dating him right now. I know this isn't the answer you want to hear, but I'm honest and if people want to lie to you just to get a good rating, they're obviously not looking in your best interest. I don't mean to come off as nasty, maybe you two are shy. I'd say, talk about whatever comes to mind first, because if you go looking for things to say, especially things that OTHER people come up with...your in hot water sweetie.
I know this sounds really weird, but is it normal to have a little crush on a character in a movie? Not the actor, but the character. Because, I have no idea why, but I kind of have a crush on the Phantom from "Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom..." I don't know why. Maybe it's because he's so dramatic, you really feel for him, has a great voice, and/or the unmasked side of his face is goodlooking. Is this pathetic?
It sounds like your crush is only slight, so I guess it's really no big. Between me and you, I think Lucius Hunt (Joaquin Phoenix in real life) from the Village was to die for. Not even because he's particularly comely, because he's really not. More so because he just had a romantic vibe about him that made me want to embrace him and never let go. Strange, I guess, but it's not like it's effecting your lifestyles or anything. :)
The guy I'm kinda seeing likes the "natural look"; no makeup, real breasts, and he prefers I don't shave because it's more natual, things like that. I'm at that point where I haven't quite snagged him as a boyfriend yet, but I'd really like to, so I'm willing to kind of change my style to make myself more attractive to him.Right now, my style would probably be labeled as "emo", and I wear alot of vintage-inspired clothing as well.
So here's my question: how can I achieve the "natural" look with my style, hair, and anything else?
Of course you might want to tweak a few things here and there, but don't overwhelm yourself with a new wardrobe or anything. You pretty much said it yourself, although I'm not sure you should deprive yourself of makeup. If you like it just wear it so that it creates a natural look. You cannot completely alter your lifestyles according to his wishes. Sure, you may change a little, but don't let him think he controls your life. Especially if your not exclusive yet. As for your hair, don't dye it or use anything unnatural such as hairspray/mousse/gel as long as it's controllable and not overly frizzy or too curly. Although, there is ways of creating natural looks, (if that makes sense...i mean...creating something NATURAL? ;-) ) You might wear your hair in loose curls (curling iron or rollers). Minimal jewelry if any...small pieces of either gold or silver. Solid-colored shirts, specifically white, biege, or black with ripped jeans might make it cute.
how can i stop careing about what people think of me
Well, it all starts with you being content with your self-image. You gotta look in the mirror and literally think to yourself what you like about yourself and why. A lot of people are filled with malice only due to their jealousy or impulse. In other words, people may not genuinely despise you. It's things in their own life that they might take out on you. Be confident and know there's always going to be someone somewhere in your life tormenting the attributes that accumulate to who you really are. The more you care what they say, the more you will feed their ambition to agonize you. For your better interest, you must not care what people think.
ok well my stomache is really skinny but my sides like buldge out but its weird because im not fat...what can i do to make my sides thinner QUICK
It's good you think your skinny! I'm sure you are :). No ones ever perfect and we all have those miniscule deceptions of ourselves...I mean no one's ever satisfied with themselves physically or mentally. Maybe what you're wearing isn't emphasizing the good parts of you. Even so, if you're still concerned, do crunches, 100 everyday. Good Luck!
For Christmas I thought it'd be cute to do a '100 reasons I like about you' for my boyfriend. I've got quite a few, but I was wondering if yall had any that you would like to share about YOUR boyfriend. I'm sure it'd apply to mine also.
Good idea!! Here are a few:
I love the way you laugh even if what I'm saying isn't funny, I love calling you when you just wake up so that I can hear your morning voice, I love being hugged by you, I love how you dress, i love how you make me feel safe
e.t.c. .....
what do you do when your friends mad at you
That's pretty simple. Ask them to come over and hang outt. To be honest, unless your friends a grudge holder, they'll get over it in a few days. Unless you did something REALLY horrible...worth holding a grudge. But, it cant be that bad, can it? Since I don't know your situation in specifics, send a question to my inbox if you need more help (please feel free).

good luuuck!
i have those kinds of body spray/perfume from gap and i was wondering what can i do to keep my body spray/perfume last longer throughout the day so i can smell good ?
please dont tell me to put a lot on
Hmm there's really nothing you can do for sure just carry some in your purse and use the bathroom whenever you need some more. Yeahh def. don't put a lot on :P. Also, you might be able to find longer lasting sprays if you experiment but I don't know of any...I think it's normal for the scent to fade.
:]
I'm 14/f. There's this guy that I really like. We're pretty good friends. I told him that I liked him a while ago, and I think he thinks I've moved on because I never show that I like him. My friend said that I should show it. I sort of want to, but I don't know how to do it without looking like a sap. How do you show that you like a guy besides telling him and/or flirting?
Well, show your interest atleast. Invite him over to hang out or talk on the phone. Flirting is the key...people flirt with people they're not even interested in sometimes so if you don't do that there's really no other extremities. So I do recommend flirting...it doesn't have to be massive...just a little here and there helps your case.
okay ive likes this boy for more than 7 months and i dont know wearther or not im in love or not. my symptoms are
-sleepless nights
-24/7 my mind is set on him

It sounds like love. Everyone defines love differently though..some people fall in love very casually and for some it takes a lifetime. I don't think you can fall in love when your eight or nine...but that's probably not your case. Good Luck with this guy!! :]
