Me and this kid have been going out for about 2 1/2 months and it doesn't seem like he's very open. He'll write me e-mails and notes saying he loves me and how great I am but he never says it in person. We've only held hands a couple times and kiss on the cheak once but he kinda missed and got my ear. Please help me to try and get him more open.

He sounds shy && I'm sure he felt bad about missing when he kissed you. I think that's kind of sweet. Better than him being disgusting and perverted and ALL over you. There's people out there on this site complaining about clingy guys. Just be happy for what you have. He sounds sweet. Let him feel like he can open up to you in public, but if he doesn't, don't worry, not everybodies like that.
sizzlinmandolin answered Monday November 28 2005, 9:09 pm: It's a lot easier for people to say how they feel over the internet or over the phone. It's only been 2 1/2 months and he probably isn't ready for or doesn't feel comfortable enough to say those things when he is with you. Give him some more time, but try to initiate it yourself too. He's gotta get over it sometime. Try talking to him about it and letting him know how you feel and everything without hurting his feelings. Try to coax it out of him. Good luck! I knew i guy like this once who always said i love you to and girl but never really could show it. eventually he will show it when he starts to feel really comfortable around you. just give it time. maybe hes had bad relationships in the past.
