i am 15 years old and i have never had a boyfriend or kissed any guys. all my friends have and they have gone all the way with guys and i havent even kissed one. is this not normal? i am actually pretty and guys like me but thats as far as it gets. i hear guys like me and then i dont know what to do. so is this normal??

Yeah. That's normal. You have slutty friends if the've gone all the way at 15. I think that's a little on the young side.

I'll be 14 next week and have never had a real boyfriend. I really don't think it's pathetic, becuase I'm not really looking for a boyfriend. When I do have a boyfriend it will be that much more special.

Most people have one or two goodd friends in their entire life. Some people get lucky and some don't. A friend should be there for you no matter what, and know you better than you know yourself. Sarah and Alyssa aren't your best friends.

Teenagers go through boyfriends and girlfriends like water. Hang out with his crowd. Plan a party and invite him, make him feel at ease and welcome around you. You can't make another person (especially a guy) like you.

No, accounts are free. No, you can't use the card without an account. Yes, I believe you can delete an account, but what's the harm in having an account. It costs nothing. Your last question makes no sense. When you sign in, you redeem the card and then have credits to use for songs. I think that about sums it up. Let me know if you need more help.

Ok so i wanna be an actress!!!! i have done comunity theater, I am a good actress and I wanna live in NY. But my mom...Im only 13!! She wants me to go to college so i thought, i will go for an arts degree right? Wrong!! she wont pay for an arts degree and college is way more $ than im gonna be able to aford and i know, i should'nt be thinkin bout college at 13? right? well my mom says i really should be "focusing on my future"?!??!? what does that mean? Why NY? All the shows for Fox, Warner Brothers, NBC, and the Disney Channel are taped in Burbank, California. Not much is taped in NY. You have up until yor junior year in most cases to declare your major, and plus you can always minor in theater. There are already so many good actresses out here in Burbank ( where I live), I am friends with like 10 who are/were pretty famous. (The twins from Full house, the boys, Nicky and Alex go to my school) Theater and television acting are very, very different, and it's not fun to be a professional singer or actress. Your call times are often extremely early in the morning an d don't let out until late at night. You often lose friends or gain fake friends, and that's not realy a position any girl should be in. Also, you don't get to go to school, which means boyfriend chances slim down considerably. If you want, ask me a private question for more details, since I know this isn't what you want to hear.

If you are exercising, then yes. If not, then no, it's sugary, but it replenishes electrolytes, but that's bad if you aren't using electrolytes. Overall, you can't go wrong with water!

I am a 16 year old girl, who loves to act and I love to preform in shows. I have done many shows but my problem is I am not a singer. To be honest, my voice is pretty awful, so I can only really get parts in non-musicals or just be in the chorus for musicals. This is fine with me, but I love singing so much I just wish to improve my voice a little. Now I am not asking for a transformation that will suddedenly land me the lead in a musical...I know that isn't realistic, but I would like to improve my voice. I do NOT want to have a voice teacher...I don't think my parents would spend money on that nor do I want to be that serious. Are there any other ways of improving my voice? Any tricks anyone knows? Also are there any websites that can help you for FREE? Also what would be a good broadway song to sing at an audition?...my voice is on the lower side (I cannot hit high notes). Thanks You!

The book Singing for Dummies will help you, and comes with a CD. You are probably an alto, and if you are, some somgs from the musical Wicked might be of interest. If I'm not too late, let me know and I can actually coach you over the internet for free :) It's what I want to do with my life, so I may as well get practice. Let me know.

I wonder whether any music folks out there can help me? I'm working on my audition piece "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from the Phantom of the Opera. On the sheet music, the phrase "too many..." (in the line "too many years fighting back tears why can't the past just die?" if you have the sheet music) the syllables are three quarter notes. Above the quarter notes is a bracket with "3" written on it. What does this mean?

This means that this is a triplet, and they are probably 3 eigth notes, not quarter notes. Regardless, you need to sing these three notes in the time it would take someone clapping out the rhythm to clap twice. There is an extra beat in the measure is all. Let me know if you need more help.

Today, I was practicing for my audition, and my voice went wacko. I had to strain to sing the higher notes, and usually I can sing high notes very well. It sounded all squeaky and bad. What should I do?! Everyone says "drink tea." What does tea do? Is it just that my voice is tired, or what? I'm a little freaked out right now

Tea with honey and lemon or salt water will elp your vocal chords. Sip through an imaginary straw when you breathe and don't let your shoulders rise, and hold your breath as you sing (also known as compression). If this doesn't help I don't know what will. Good luck on your audition!

ok so im doing my first audtition ever for a musical in school. i have to sing a portion of a song thats pretty medium paced. also i have to sing "do re mi fa... etc" do you have any tips that will help me do a better audition? oh yeah also i have to do a little speaking.. like not singing.

If you already have your song, practice in a bathroom where it echoes, and also practice in front of people. When you breathe in, sip like you had a straw in your mouth and almost hold your breath while you sing. As you sip in, keep your shoulders down, and think about breathing into your pelvis, which as bizarre as it may seem, actually does help. Learn the solfege hand signs and use them as you sing on the scale. If you have a piano nearby, hit a middle C (the white key before the set of two black keys located closest to the logo on the piano) and do the hand signs, these really help you to stay on pitch and in the same key. For your singing, but mainly for your speaking, be sure to use diction and enunciate your words, they can make or break you. I really want to start modeling but I don't know how to start. I'm 5'5, have an hour glass figure, wear a size 5 jeans (if that helps?), I have light brown hair (it's cut in a "unique" but long style), dark brown (almost black) eyes, medium tan, round/squarish face, and if I were stereotyped I would be called "punk". Could I be a model? or should I just give up?

How old are you? If you are under 25 and a size 5, then your chances are very, very slim. Many models of teenage age-range are either a size zero or size two. Unless you are strikingly beautiful, (like Tyra Banks whi is a size 8 and does Victoria's Secret) your chances are slim. Also where you live makes a huge difference. If you're in the middle of nowhere, you don't see this as much, but I live in Los Angeles and was a model and know of a few models, and also, all the girls out here are pretty much a size 0,1 or 3.

If I haven't yet discouraged you, Barbizon is a popular modeling company, and maybe you could apply with them.

Lastly how is your posture. I hate to see models who slouch, ever. I still walk like a model, Shoulders down and back and small powerful steps (runways aren't that big, but I never did runways).

Do it, screw the guy. For the audition, sing a song that shows your range, preferably something in the broadway genre. If you let me know your voice part, I can give you a list of songs you should have in your repitroire.

I'm a university student living away from home and I've just returned to my family home for the Christmas period. I brought home a bag of presents, but it appears that one present slipped out from where it was stored before I brought it home (I don't think I've lost it, just left it behind).

The gift in question should have been half the present I'd be giving to my elder sister. Should I buy something else, or would it be acceptable to give her the remaining half when I next see her, around the 8th of January? As it's half of the present she'd still have something from me under the tree on Christmas day, but I feel bad for being disorganised and wonder if I should get her another token thing so that it doesn't appear that I've been much less generous to her than to my other sisters on Christmas Day. On the other hand, I'm sure she'd understand and I will see her relatively soon after Christmas as she lives much nearer to me than the rest of my family. Any thoughts?

The orthodox Chrstmas is around January 7th or 8th, so really, your present isn't late. Maybe your sister will find humor in that? But you should just get her the other gift ASAP, she's your sister...and there's no rule that says you absolutely MUST buy gifts for everyone, you know.

i work at a candy store (16/f). i just started at the beggining of december, so it hasn't been long. today my cousins are coming to my house around 12, but i am supposed to work form 12-5. the candy stores opens at 10 (closes at 5), so my mom suggested calling and being like "i woke up early then i exppected today, so i wanted to call and check if you could use help any earlier. it's no big deal, but i figured i'd call and see if you needed me 10-3 rather then 12-5, because i'm up and have nothing to do!" i really want to do this, but i feel like i have been calling quite a lot lately (i even cancled work yesterday because of my dad's bday) so do you think they will be annoyed if i call?

Yes, don't call. Go to work, you made a commitment. As an employer, if my employees were always calling in and such, I would fire them becuase that means that they don't take their job seriously. Also, that puts someone on the spot for working two extra hours.
