okay i'm doing this project and we need to knoe when were ever going to use math like when we grow uo and stuff. well i want to be a professional basketball player and i was wondering what kind of math would i need to know for that? thanx

You use math in pretty much everything. Even if you do basketball you'll have to do all your checks, take care of accounts, credit cards (you'll have a lot of math moneywise because you'd be rich!) But everyone else already said the basketball stuff so yea.. but you'd need it to keep track of pretty much everything moneywise.

Talk to your parents and tell them that you're pregnant. I would say don't have an abortion.. either keep the baby or put it up for adoption but I think abortion is murder. It's your choice though

ok.. my mom has been smokin since she was 16 and shes now 39. she constantly smokes and its disquisting. she says she wants to quit but she never trys and she says shes afraid that if she quits shell start eatin a lot and get realli fat. i told her id rather hav her fat then die of lung cancer but she dont care. can u think of anything i can do to make her quit cuz itz not only gunna kill her it hurts my dad, dog, kitten, and me and im tired of r house smellin like smoke. help please i rate 5s

Tell her to get one of those smoking lozanges.. I'm not exactly sure what they're called. But they're supposed to stop people from smoking and if they're sucking on them every hour or two they won't feel the need to eat anything else and they won't get fat. Make sure it's really tight against your head when you do it ((even at the bottom part of your head)). If it's not they'll be uneven and look messed up. If you practice a lot they'll get better. =c) Hope I helped!!

hey well....my ex boyfriend and me were best friends b4 we went out...(the entire reason i didnt wanna date him) but now that we broke up after almost a year of dating every time i read something about relationships being torn apart i break down and cry...but now that he broke up with me ive started to cut myself and go into deep depressions...i want him bak bc when i was with him...there was never a time when i wasnt happy...he could make me smile no matter how sad i was...he might have made a few mistakes but so have i...i juss want him to b happy but i also juss want him to say that in order for him to b happy he needs to b with me...i also started smokking when he broke up with me...idk what to do...my life is going to hell since he broke up with me...idk waht to do...i want him bak but i want him to b happy...

First, you need to stop cutting and smoking.. it's not worth it over a guy. If he found out you're doing that he would probably be very upset and sad and thinking that it's all his fault. You need to stop thinking about it and get out and have some fun! Go out with friends and go see a movie or something. Just don't think about him. Soon you'll start to get over him and then you can be friends again. Or if that doesn't work for you just tell him how you feel and how you still like him, but that can sometimes end up in him avoiding you because he wouldn't feel the same way. Anyways just try to get out and have fun and get over him.. but you really should stop cutting and smoking.. what you're doing is just making things worse. Hope I helped! aight there's this guy i've liked ever since summer. we were going out but then we stopped talking for a long time.. like 2 months? so i figured he forgot about me and didn't care, and i moved on. but then i found out why we hadn't talked, he had to go away for an emergency, and he wants to be still together with me, but i dunno if thats a good idea because we'll never get to see each other and we go to different schools. any advice?

Tell him you're not sure because you don't know if you would ever see him. Hang out with him on weekends for awhile or after school and if you really start liking him again then go out with him.. you would still be able to see him on the weekends and stuff =c). Hope I helped!

ok, i have a sister wh ohas these really digusting habits and i dont know how to make her stop. heres what she does:
1)picks at her nose(she dont eat it or anything, just picks at it..eew)
2)chews on her hair(and sometimes pulls it out and chews on it.i think one time she actually swallowed it.)
3)bites her fingernails(not just the nail, but the cuticle and skin around the nail..she'l just bite at it, rip it off, chew it and swallow it.its so wrong!!!)
4)picks at scabs so she can "taste the blood"(enough said )

Any ideas on how to make her stop???

Well how old is she? A lot of times if they're young they do that but it'll go away in time. If she ever picks her nose just hand her a tissue and make sure she uses it. Tell her that if she keeps chewing on her hair it'll get all bunched up in her stomach and she can have stomach problems ((It's probably not true but hey if it scares them it might work lol)). If you paint her nails sometimes they won't want the nail polish to be messed up so they won't bite on their nails anymore. You can use that too and say the stomach tihng. And for the scabs you can tell her that if she keeps picking at them it'll leave scars. Hope I helped! =c)

I NEED to learn how to swallow pills... i just cant do it, i have a huge gag reflex but i'm in so much pain and the only med. i can get is swallowable. Anyone know any tricks??

I had that same problem. Try putting them in food like a banana or something and then swallow the piece you put it in whole. Then just to be sure drink some water. Hope I helped! Leave me one if I can do anything for you =c)

I met this guy that my friend j and her fiance r wanted me to met. so i was ok it couldn't hurt so i ended meeting him september 19th. He's 21 and i'm 17. so we all ended up going bowling. I talked i him a little bit.
that next week we all went to roger's house to watch movies. J and i ended up getting there by 7pm and we did our homework until 8-8:30pm. We finally started watching movies at about 8:30-9pm. We watched star wars. John(the guy i met) started explaining the movie(s) of star wars since i had never seen any of them before. Which was very sweet of him to do? anyway i didn't get home until almost midnight. This time i got to actually talk to john more and flirt with him cuz i was much more comfortable with him. Do u think we're dating, seeing each other, or being friends? What do u think about the age difference(17 and 21)? should i tell my parents about him (i haven't told them anything yet!)? how do u think the relationships going? should i tell my parent's about john even though we're not dating or seeing each other just friends? Because john and i have seen each other twice now and so should i tell my parent about him let me know? if john ever became my boyfriend in the future he was be my first boyfriend ever? should i still let them know about us?

today also jeni was telling me that john really needs some help and i was like me 2; but j's like he doesn't have anybody. and later on i was feeling so stressed out i was like i really need him; but it seems like he needs someone too. so help me out here. she also think that we would make a great couple. I actually trust him a lot more cuz my friend set me up with him.

I think for now you guys should just be friends until you hang out with him a couple more times. He seems really sweet. The age difference is fine, if you like somebody it doesn't matter how old they are. You could bring John up casually Mom or Dad and say something like "Ok I'm leaving now I'm going to hang out with my friend John, maybe you can meet him sometime." If they think they can meet him they'll probably be more willing to let you go. Don't tell them about the age difference right off though because a lot of times people don't want their daughters seeing older men. After a week or two you should probably tell them that you like him or are seeing him. It's great that you two would be able help each other through tough times.. so yes you should help each other. Okay, theres this chickk that goes to my school. I was haveing such a good day cuz I got my hair cut and I got stuff to scrunch my hair, and I thought I looked soo nice. EVERYBODY was complimenting me, and I've never got any compliments from any of these, like my best friend amanda told me i looked pretty, and I've never been told that i was pretty before so it was really cool. But this one chick, shes supposed to be one of my best friends, says I look really bad, and I'm trying to looklike one of my other best friends named Justine, But i wasn't, because Justine doesn't even scrunch her hair! And my belt had broken that day and It wasn't cuz of me, it was because I wore it like everyday and it was fallen apart, it was my favorite belt, and I like put pins in it so it wouldn't break anymore, and then of course I said. "look at my belt" in front of her, and she said "That's what happens when your fat" and I'm like "Dude your mean" and shes like "Truth Hurts", I dunno, she was never mean before, Do you think she was just mad that everybody was complimenting me and not her??

First of all she can't be one of your best friends if she actually said that! She's so mean. Obviously she's jealous. She probably thinks you look better than her so she's trying to make you feel bad. Maybe she's used to having all the attention and then you get it and she's mad.
