So basically. im 15 and my boyfriend is 17 going on 18 in may. but trust me we have like almost the same maturity level. and honestly age doesnt really matter for us. so just ignore that small detail. haha. well him and me have done almost everything except have sex. and honestly i dont think ill be ready for that for a really long time. and he understands that i want to wait a while. its just that im scared that when he wants to i wont be ready and i wont know how to tell him so ill end up doing it and become a complete mess and totally regret it the next morning. so i was just wondering, for anyone who has been in this situation before or just even knows what im talking about, what should i do or how should i tell him when the time comes around without hurting him or even myself. thankss. :] (link)

If he asks just say no. Or have a conversation and let him know you don't think you'll be ready anytime soon. Tell him you will let him know when you are, and if he wants to also..of course go for it. If he really cares about you he won't force you into doing anything you're not ready for. Good Luck.

iight i'ma try to make this quick. i'm with this guy that i meet a month ago. my bestest guy introduced him to me. At 1st i was like no cause i've been hurt a few times and i'm tryin to be good wit me, myself & i. but i ended up talkin to him and really fallen for him even though i tryed not to. But the problem is he goes to one school and i go to another. and yesturday i finally saw him... um he's alright but not truely not my type. but i dont kno now i aint that crazy for him no more. is it cause i saw him or cause i'm tryin not to really fall or is it cause our far away relationship? please help dis shortie. I've had the same problem. And you've basically decided for yourself. If he's not your type, there's really nothing you can do to change that. But if you continue talking to him over the internet or whatever, and continue to hit it off, you might want to decide to put aside your "type" and be with him anyways.

what are your opinions on tankinis.
are they more for older women (25 and up), or can teenagers where them too and still look cool. like would you wear them?

Teens can wear them, as long as they're still cute. I had one last year, because I don't like my stomach very much and I got a lot of people who complimented me when I would wear it. So yeah teens can deff wear them. They're a much better alternative than one pieces.

So i've been acting a lot lately with a southern accent- just joking around with my best friend.
the truth is i DON'T have a southern accent but i've found myself subconsciously pronouncing some vowels liek i'm kind of southern. i need to stop because i dont want people to think i'm southern.
its like i forgot how to talk normally.

Haha, it seems like everyone's been through something like this, with different accents. I've been through it too. Like those below me said, just try talking as normal as you can and you'll get rid of the southern accent soon enough.

i have this friend(she really is a friend) whos likes this guy..he liked her at the begining of the year and asked her out alot!!....but she rejected him everytime b/c he did'nt like him then...now she likes him alot...and he likes her friend...he calls her alot and ims her to get info about her friend...everytime he does that she gets more and more jealous...i want him to go back to liking her...is there anything she can do??...she flirts with him and everything..but i don't know wat she can do??

Well you can't really just make a person like someone. He could still have feelings for her though, it might be a good idea just to ask him. And if he asks why, just explain that she really likes him and was hoping that he still had feelings for her. Flirting and such is about all she can do though. Or else get him to realize this other friend, doesn't like him back, and point out that (the girl that likes him) has a lot of good qualities and such. Good Luck, hope I helped.

My friend Monique has a lot of clothes (which are beatiful). She lives with her mom. And her mom does compliment her a lot (just not every day) on how beatiful Moniques clothes are. This morning Monique was wearing a lime green sweater and her mom told that she loved the sweater. Monique started to wonder why her mother didnt tell her that the sweater she wore yesterday was beautiful. So she asked her mother; why didnt you say my sweater yesterday was beautiful. Her mother said; Monique stop being insecure. Yes, I think she is overreacting. If you compliment someone too much, they get stuck up and feel like they're better than everyone else, and her mom probably realizes that. But yeah, she's overreacting.

I've been through basically the same type of situation, so I know how you feel, and yeah it can be hard.
So I'd suggest one of the times you're flirting with him- ask him for his phone number or aim screen name or some other way you can get in contact with him outside of school
Once you have that- call/message him one day and just start a conversation with him. (it would probably be easier over texting or IMing at first)
Talk to him and flirt a little.
Find out what things he likes to do- and maybe ask him to hang out. (If you're too shy to ask, you could always say something like..hey we should hang out sometime, any ideas where/when?)
And hopefully once you guys get to know each other a little better thing will work out and you'll be a couple.
Oh and also, about his best friend- maybe try talking to her and hinting that you like him. She might take that hint and help you out.

Today is the last day I can call my youth pastor to tell him that I want to go on this trip that the chruch is having. The problem is, my father has a tendency to say NO to everything and he constantly tells me I don't deserve these things. Another hurdle, I have a problem with speaking with people with my fear of rejection. Now, I've been doing my chores, I have good grades, and I've been an all around good teenager. If you want to go then yes, ask your dad. Explain to him nothing bad will happen and it's obviously a good trip, since it's through the church. Also, what you'll be doing there and maybe why you want to go. Just be polite about it, and hopefully he'll say yes.

I use to read on here gurls sayin they think there pregnant and im like man why dont they just get testedd yeah while i think im pregnant now! and i have noo money for a test. Well it does sound as if you are pregnant. I'd try to save up enough money to buy a test, just to be sure though.
And for the telling your friends thing, that's hard, but if you are pregnant..they're gonna have to find out. Explain to them this guy isn't really that bad and maybe arrange for them to hang out?

I see a lot of questions on this site about SEX. I think the weirdest part for me is that the age of the girls asking is like 12 and 13! Im 15 and I havent thought about sex yet..Im just not ready. I think Im MORE mature for it. I dont do it because I dont want to become pregnant. But Im also scared of it, am I immature or more mature than these 12 year olds having sex? Someone just explain to me how they can have sex without any second thoughts. When I was 12 I was like playing with barbies...Im really confused. (link)

I agree with you, 12 is deff too early to be having sex. I'm 14 and no I'm not ready for it either. I'm just too afraid of getting pregnant. Sure other people may be doing it but dont ever do anything you don't want too cause you will regret it later. And no I dont think your weird or anything because you havent done it.

So, say my friends April, Vanessa and I are planning on hanging out on Friday. So, Friday night I will call Vanessa and she NEVER picks up her house phone or cell phone. Like, I'll have talked to about hanging out the day before, not made exact plans but mentioned it and she'll be like oh yeah I think I can. Then the day of it, we'll try to contact her and we won't be able to. So then we don't do anything. It's so frusterating because it ruins my night because I'll try to contact her up til the last minute and then it's too late to do anything else. It's really annoying & frusterating. If you can't get a hold of her call up your other friends and hang out with them. One person shouldn't ruin your whole night. Or else try to make plans with her the day before.

Since you're only 16 personally I don't think that's old enough to have a kid. Sure you might think your ready but once it happens it's gonna be hard cause your still in school and would have to work for money and who knows whats even gonna happen in the realationship right now. So no.

ok i've had a crush on a guy for quite some tim now (4 years to be more exact) and this year i decided, since im seeing him for christmas.. that will be the day i decided what to do.. if i should get on with my life, or try for something (i only see him once a year during xmas) so what now, now that i found out we're not going there for xmas? i'll never get closure! or answers! i feel like i need to confess my feelings for him, face to face, before i can move on.. or you know, make another kind of decision.

i think you should just move on. Long distance relationships never seem to work out very well and its just hard not seeing them, so i think the best thing for you to do would be to try and move on.

In gym class, this girl Kelly, was like ohh you only ran 2 laps FATTY. I ran 5 though! I was like whatever. So then at recess she was like your so white. Get a tan. I said "Im a redhead and we don't get tan easily." Kelly said "Mkay no hunny, thats has nothing to do with it!" Her friends were like yeah and I thought u always say you have BROWN hair. My hair is kind of brownish red. Kelly was like "Get a tan." "Dye your hair." "Loose weight." She's so annoying. She says this all the time. I am way prettier then her too. She just has friends because she knows how to be mean. I can stick up for someone else, but not myself. My friend, who came by me was like "Let's go to the science room!" I was about to cry though. Kelly is 13, and has had 3 boyfriends, all younger. Im 13, I have had 8 & all older! I just don't know what to do! She always calls me a slut too. She has never kissed anyone. Well my first bit of advice is just ignore her as much as possible, even though it will be hard. She's probably just jealous, and knows that you know you're pretty, and wants to drag you confidence level way down. Try staying away from her or ignoring her first and if that doesn't work, confide in an adult you can trust, they will always try to help you

Follow your heart. If you wanna go out with him, do it. But if he gets abusive or cheats on you just break up with him, even if you do truely like/love him cause it will just get worse.
