I have these dots (red) and ingrown hairs on my legs, after years of hair removal (shaving, waxing, you name it). It's really annoying- even after waxing, I still have them and some of them are actually scars from having picked at them beforehand, which I know I shouldn't do. What are some effective ways of getting rid of red dots and ingrown hairs? if you happen to be of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern descent--or otherwise hairy background, you know what I'm talking about :P (link)

I hope when you shave you are using shaving cream. You should also use after shave cream. I have uses a brand called skintimate. It's available in drugstores. They make them for women now. There is also a product called bikin zone(available at drug stores) but I've used it on my legs to sooth those bumbs.
After you wax you should use aloe vera or baby oil.
I know it sounds gross but in the winter when you don't wear skirts you can go a week or two without shaving or waxing. Your skin will appreciate it. Have you ever tried a hair removal cream? After you use the hair removal cream there is usually a soother in the same package.
Now that I'm an adult I've seen a dr. for laser hair removal and it's the best thing I could have done.

my dad and mum seperated before i was born, and when i was 11 they finally divorced.My dad abused my mum and my mother put a restraining order on him so i wasnt allowed to meet him.I have to wait till im 18 to meet him wich really sucks!I know what he looks like cause i saw the wedding pix.I really want to meet him but i dont want to wait!Im thinking of leaving to meet him when im 16 and have my licence should i or not? This is like a story of my life. the same thing happened to me but my parents divorced when I was 6. Does he want to meet you? He is a woman beater so would it be safe to meet him? Would he hit you? When I was 16 I went to my dads mom, my grandma and she arranged a supervised meeting. Of course she was the superviser.
Do you know where he is? I don't advise you to just show up at his front door. It's only polite to call someone before going to their house.

ok i went out with a guy this summer he was pretty much the definition of asshole - i was unexperienced and um, not very assertive, so he ended up using me, cheating on me with AT LEAST 3 girls in a period of 2 months, and smoking right in front of me after i told him over and over how much i hated it. and we hardly even talked. it was the stupidest relationship ever, and unfortunately my first, but at least i learned a lesson. we go to different schools so we hardly hung out when we were going out, and i havent seen him since the day before i broke up with him, we dont talk much... i try to be nice to him if he like messages me or anything but its usually just a "hey whatsup" conversation. anyway now, 4 or 5? months later he decides to talk to me on myspace again. and hes telling me that he misses me and his friends think we should go out again (im not that stupid). he said he really wants to see me again (meaning he really wants to see if he can get with me again) and i dont know what to tell him. i would hang out with him as a friend but it would be sooo awkward cause my friends and i and him are so different. and we hardly talked when we went out so now with this awkward situation it would be worse. i dont know how to tell him i dont want to see him again though. i told him i like another guy. hes not taking the hint. any suggestions? I've known many asshole in my day. Tell him you've moved on and you are not interested. You're busy. You have school work. You don't want to be around his cigarette smoke. 2nd hand smoke kills. You should not endanger your health. Nor should you put yourself in a situation where you already know you'll be uncomfortable. Tell him you are now involved with another guy. You don't have to respond to his myspace messages. Simply ignore him. Good thing you go to seperate schools. No need to associate yourself with a guy you know to be an asshole. It's possible he's trying to use you as a booty call but you're not that stupid.
If you ignore his myspace emails hopefully he'll get the hint. If he calls you give him the above excuses.

If you had a period chances are that you are not pregnant at all. However if you are I'd think it was your boyfriends because there was semen. All men dribble before they shoot. So a man doesn't have to cum inside you for you to get pregnant. Pulling out is not birth control.
The only way to determine paterninty is a blood test.
Use a condom each and every time. Not only to prevent pregnancy but also STD's. If you get pregnant you have options. there is no cure for herpes or HIV.
If the condom broke you had to be giving it to you really hard. trust me I've used condoms with many men. Don't let him give it to you that hard again.

Okay on Friday I had about 5 friends over, and well we drank a little. And everyone passed out except me and this guy. And he was kinda all over me, trying to kiss me and stuff. And I passed out and when I woke up we were cuddling I guess you could say. But now I feel totally violated. I use eye cream every day and night. Get some and use it. Also you can put cucumber slices on your eyes. Make yourself some green tea. Put the tea bag in the freezer then place the tea bags on your eyes. It's all aout skin care not make up. Trust me, I don't have dark circles or fine lines.

You get pregnant when the mans semen fertilizes your egg. That happens during sex usually when the man ejaculates. But men dribble before they shoot. It is possible to be pregnant but then have a period. Just ask my mother haha.

I admire your values. I think 2 months is to soon to be giving it up. When you have sex not only do you need to be concerned with pregnancy but also STD's. I wish I had an answer for your question. I can only hope this boy has the same values you do. Boys usually preassure girls for sex. I need you to be firm and stick to your beliefs and don't have sex.

I'm not sure what to do. My friend smokes pot and I know that it's none of my business, but she's ruining her life. She plays sports, and can't always breathe very well because she has all that crap in her system. I can't stand to see her suffer anymore. And when she gets high it's really scary. Tell her you can't sit by and watch her smoke pot because she isn't playing sports as well anymore. Your friend is smoking pot which in some staes is legal with a doctors note. She's not snorting coke. If you don't like what your friend is doing get a new friend who doesn't smoke pot. Usually when people get high on pot they get silly, stupid and eat a lot, not scary.
I don't think you should be a rat cause like you said it's not your business and she will be really mad at you. Don't expect her to stop smoking pot to save your friendship. Just walk away on good terms.
smoking pot cost money and maybe one day she'll run out of money for pot. There is no such thing at pot withdrawl. Coke and heroin cause physical addiction.

to make a long story short, there was a red article of clothing in the white load of laundry, which was washed on the warm or hot cycle. thus, the white clothes turned somewhat pink. one of my faovrite all-white shirts and an all white tank top were in there, and i was wondering how i could get them white again? bleach, or just try to wash them a few times again? that happened to me when I was 12. I turned my dads underwear pink. Was he ever mad. If you haven't yet put them in the dryer you can try washing them again using bleach by themselves with no other clothes in washer. however I don't think it will ever be all white in there original condition again.
seperate clothes before washing. The whites by themselves. The brights(like sheets and towels) by themselves. I wash black clothes by themselves. Wash jeans by themselves.
I'm sure you'll never make this mistake again.

When you stop menstrating which is the last day of your period usually you start your next one in 24 days and menstrate again for about 4 days. That puts you on a 28 day cycle. Mine comes once a month every month. You need to keep a calendar and always know when it's about to happen. When you are close never leave home without pads. There's nothing worse than starting your period and not having any pads with you.
Many people have told me that when a girl gets her 1st period she is becoming a woman. Welcome to womanhood.
You may experience stomach cramps which is normal. I admit I get moody some would even say bitchy.

You should not use this. I have had hair extensions before several times. I have had it braided it and sewn it. The glue if not used by a professional can be difficult. My favorie hair extensions were the ones I clipped it. It was called "the hair you've always wanted". There is no way you can do the back of your own head. The clip on hair is easy and you never have to worry about it growing, hanging, or tangling. When you glue the hair in you have to redo it in 2-3 months because your own hair grows. If you have yur heart set an hair extensions you need to go to a professional unless you decide on the clip ons. Hair bonding glue should not be used by someone who isn't trained.

Yes it pays good money but you need to go to school for it. The X-ray technician is the one who takes a picture of your bones and determines if you have a cracked or broken one. I've had x-rays before. I just lied still and I felt nothing from the x-ray tech. I only felt the pain in my bone.

I have my own stair climber. If you can't join a gym you can do squats and lunges in your own home. You can also climb stairs, run or walk. Exercise daily and eat healthy.

You are no longer a virgin. You should NEVER let a man put it in you without using a condom. Not only can you get pregnant you can get a STD(sexually transmitted disease). The spotting is because he popped your hymen. Spotting is not a sign of pregnancy. Once I was pregnant and spotting I went to a dr. ,had a miscarriage . Hope you are not late for your next period. If you are get a home pregnancy test from a grocery or drug store. Follow the directions but basically you urinate on the stick or urinate in a plastic cup(the ones you through away of course) and dip the stick in the urine.

It's more than a bump. It's a red open sore or sore usually but not always on the mouth or giniatals. If a person has herpes they will have outbreaks that come and go. There is no cure for herpes. You can get herpes from skin to skin contact. Don't be passing out kisses or give or receive oral sex. If a man has herpes and performs oral sex on you you can get genital herpes. If a woman has oral herpes and performs oral sex on a man he can get genital herpes. Herpes is not limitted to the mouth or genitals. It's possible to have herpes on your big toe. im 16/f. and i live in australia.
i was at the beach yesterday waiting for my bf to finish surfing. we were there for 4 hours and i didnt have any sunscreen on. im absolutely red raw!! ive put on aloe vera as soon as i got home aswell as a number of times since yesterday. i also had a cold shower yesterday. i have to go to school tomorrow looking like this and im praying i dont peel.

I know it's painful. I've too been sunburned and learnd my lesson. Keep putting aloe vera gel on you. You can't possibly over dose on it and it can't hurt you. It's the best thing for sunburn. Also use Noxzema and vitamin E oil it is available in drugstores. If you are still in pain put an ice pack on you. If you don't have an ice pack frozen peas or anything frozen out of the freezer will do.
However, if it's as red and as painful as you say you probably will peal. Take a cold bath to help with the pain.
Never again go in the sun without sunblock and carry a wrap with you next time you go to the beach to cover yourself.

an ob/gyn is a dr just for the vagina. They perscribe birth control pills after giving you a pap smear. If you're not having sex there is no reason to see one. After becoming sexually active you should see your ob/gyn once a year. They also test for cervical cancer. They do blood test for STD's.
