mitzi answered Sunday March 4 2007, 9:31 pm: When you stop menstrating which is the last day of your period usually you start your next one in 24 days and menstrate again for about 4 days. That puts you on a 28 day cycle. Mine comes once a month every month. You need to keep a calendar and always know when it's about to happen. When you are close never leave home without pads. There's nothing worse than starting your period and not having any pads with you.

It also depends on how old you are. If you start when you're older (15 or 16), they tend to be more regular. When they become regulated, most women get their periods about every 28 days and they have active menstruation for 5-7 days each month.
