is light spotting a sign of pregnancy?

Question Posted Sunday March 4 2007, 1:45 pm

okay so im very worried. a couple of days ago my boyfriend and i were very "active." despite the fact that i don't know if im still a virgin or not im worried about some light spotting i just had today. this is what happened: a couple of nights ago my boyfriend stuck his penis half-way through, and i felt pain and everything. anyway i read that pre-cum can still get a girl pregnant. this is what im really worried about because we didn't use a condom! omg im so scared! what is the light spotting? am i still a virgin? what do i do?

You are no longer a virgin. You should NEVER let a man put it in you without using a condom. Not only can you get pregnant you can get a STD(sexually transmitted disease). The spotting is because he popped your hymen. Spotting is not a sign of pregnancy. Once I was pregnant and spotting I went to a dr. ,had a miscarriage . Hope you are not late for your next period. If you are get a home pregnancy test from a grocery or drug store. Follow the directions but basically you urinate on the stick or urinate in a plastic cup(the ones you through away of course) and dip the stick in the urine.
Allowing your boyfriend to put in in you without a condom was not very smart. Please never do that again. With sex comes responsibility.
I know it hurt you. If you ever choose to have sex again use a condom and lubricant especially for sex. Vaseline and baby oil are not sexual lubricants.
You need to tell your boyfriend that he caused you pain and made you bleed. I advise you not to do this again until you are older and know more about sex.
If you ever get pregnant you have options. If you are infected with HIV yo have no options. Always use a condom each and every time. Use it properly from beginning to end. Read the instructioins that come in the box. After my bf has an orgasm I hold onto the condom at the base of his penis to prevent spillage. After a man has a orgasm he needs to remove his penis from your vagina right away,
ALWAYS USE A CONDOM. Not only to prevent pregnancy but to protect your health.

The light spotting my be from the sex. From your skin stretching a little. can say if you are still a virgin. All i can tell you is buy a test and take it. Sneak it in and out the house. Make sure you just buy the kind that you pee on the stick and thats it. It easier to deal with.
