I'm 13/f. My clothing style consists of Hollister, Juicy, Chanel, Abercrombie, etc. I ALWAYS sweat in these clothes. Is it the material they're made of? Or is it just my body. Because my friends where these clothes too & they don't sweat AT ALL. I told my mom about this & she said to just take showers twice a day instead of once - it worked a LITTLE but I'm STILL sweating. I told my mom to take me to a doctor and see what's wrong but she said it's a serious problem - ppl who sweat like NON-STOP have a SERIOUS sweating problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what new deoderant I should switch to or anything like that? I'LL TAKE ANYTHING! xO`
I used to have the same problem when I wore anything. It was my deodorant, I used Dove. I told my mom and she bought me Women Degree Ultra Clear and it works great, and smells good too. You don't have a problem, it could just be the clothes. Try using a different deodorant and shaving your armpits everyday helps too. Hope I helped :)
My girlfriend's birthday is comming up. I'd like to get her a book that she would like, she reads a lot. She likes to read novels, the mushy love story kind. Does anyone recommend any that they have actually read? I'm not too great when it comes to this. Or should I just ask her which one she would like? I did want it to be a surprise, but if that's the best way to go about it, I'll try it.

I'm a 14F turning 15 in 3 months. I still haven't had my 1st period and am VERY curious to find out how soon it is coming. I have heard that you get it around the same time as your mother did, but my mom got hers when she was 11, almost 12. I am 5'1" and 95 pounds. Any estimates?
If I were you, I'd be happy I didn't get my period yet. I got mine about a year ago, but don't worry I know girls, such as my cousins, who didn't get their periods until they were sixteen and seventeen and their mom got her period at age twelve. I think you will probably get yours this year and if not, then the next. You will get yours I promise, you just have to wait. Hope I heped :)

Don't worry, I'm fourteen, too, and I'm only 5'1 : / .. but the good part about this is that we're not done growing. Girls stop growing at around age 21, so we have a ways to go. I'm hopeful because my brother is about 6'5, so I know I'll probably be tall. Be patient, we're not even that short, I know people our age that are only like 4' tall, so we're lucky. Good luck :)

Im like really loud. I don't know if its like in the annoying way, but I'm like always hyper. Even thought I don't eat things with a lot of sugar. Like I'm really friendy & I love talking to new people. I acuallly just love talking period. So yeah anyways. I don't know if I'm annoying or something. So do you guys think its annoying to meet someone new thats really loud & stuff? if you do how can i change?
I don't know about some people, but I love meeting someone new who wants to meet me back. I don't find it annoying, I love to talk too. It's one of my favorite things to do, so I say don't try to change, that's just who you are- be who you are and people will love you as is. Hope I helped :)

If I had a boyfriend like that, I'd be acting just like you are. It's not exactly jealousy, you're just trying to keep what you have. Every guy is like that, we all just have to be able to trust them. I think you should try talking to him, tell him what you just told us. Good luck :)
Sorry, didn't know who to ask about this- can masturbating keep you from getting your period? Mine usually comes on the 24th/25th of the month and it hasn't. I got cramps and all of that but my period never came. Help. Thanks.
No, it shouldn't stop you from getting your period. It might delay it a day or so, but nothing longer. Hope I helped :)

Well tampons can end up breaking your hymen, but sometimes they don't. You don't need to break your hymen to have sex, because normally on your first time, it will break. If you're not used to having sex, then it's gonna hurt. Masturbating helps because it stretches you out down there and makes having sex a lot less painful. As for your boyfriend, if you're uncomfortable with having sex, then don't, but if you really want to, then go ahead. Hope I helped :)

Nope, breaking your hymen while masturbating does not make you no longer a virgin. Basically, people consider losing your virginity when a penis is inserted into your vagina (sex), so unless that's what happened, then no, you're still a virgin.

I know how advertised Proactive is, but it really, really works. My friend had the WORST acne in the world, used Proactive for two weeks or so and her face was completely clear. It was amazing, so I started using it and it gives you the best results. It's not that expensive either, but if you think it is, it's definitely worth it. Hope I helped :)
P.S: Some other products I tried before were Clearasil and Biore, they both worked fine too and aren't expensive at all, but eventually they started making my acne worse instead of better.

Well since he's already your stepbrother then obviously he's going to be around the baby, so that way people won't be suspicious. It's your choice whether or not to tell your parents, but they're probably gonna be curious as to who the father is, you could always lie and say it's some guy from your school, but then they'd ask who and if he were going to help you and the baby out so, it's up to you. i havent seen my cousins in like three years! they are really religious, dont watch tv, used to be homeschooled and are very sheltered (three girls that are about my age and three boys that are pretty young). This weekend im about to see them for the first time in so long. do you have any suggestions for conversation starters and things we could do that would make things less awkard.
Hmm, well you could try asking what they've been up to and start a conversation that way. If you really want ideas on what to do, you could ask them what they like to do. You could try just talking the whole time or you could see if there are any games that they know how to play or like to play, if any. If not, you can teach them. Actually, I'm a virgin. I don't know, there's something about waiting for the right guy that's keeping me a virgin. I want to wait for the guy who says he loves me and means it and I don't want to rush into anything. If you seriously have your doubts, then I say don't do it because you may end up regretting it later on. Yes, I've heard it does hurt the first time and you don't normally get used to the pain until you've done it many times. I hope you make the right decision for you :)
P.S: I think for you, waiting would be the best decision mainly because your boyfriend's really rushing you into it and because of the age difference.

Trust me, all you can feel is a tiny pinch, they draw the blood, and it's over. But if you're really worried, you might want to try focusing the pain to another part of your body, like your arm. When the needles about to go in you, pinch your opposite arm and you won't even feel the pain, it works for me all of the time. good luck :)

I lost my virginity to my boyfriend a few days ago in the shower. I happened to notice some blood trickling down the drain. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to concern me. Is that normal? Please tell me!
Yea that's normal, if you've ever heard the phrase, "Pop your cherry," then that's what probably happened. When your cherry, or hymen pops, it's completely normal. Once it pops, it's not there anymore. The next day you might even see some blood when you go to the bathroom, but it's probably because the night you had sex, some was still left behind. Actually, you don't really need the CD. All you have to do is install iTunes by going to applestore.com and when you hook up your iPod to the computer, it asks you different questions that the CD basically asks you, nothing really important. I just bought an iPod nano and i didn't use the CD, just iTunes and it works just fine. good luck :)

Yea, a lot of girls end up getting it regular the second time, but for me when my third period came around, it's started coming about a week later. The first time I got it was on the 25th of the month and eventually it started coming on the 5th of every month. So if this happens to you, it's normal don't be worried. Sometimes girls get cramps one or two weeks before they even get their periods, so don't worry. Hope I helped :)
