Sweating too much

Question Posted Wednesday July 26 2006, 12:48 am

I'm 13/f. My clothing style consists of Hollister, Juicy, Chanel, Abercrombie, etc. I ALWAYS sweat in these clothes. Is it the material they're made of? Or is it just my body. Because my friends where these clothes too & they don't sweat AT ALL. I told my mom about this & she said to just take showers twice a day instead of once - it worked a LITTLE but I'm STILL sweating. I told my mom to take me to a doctor and see what's wrong but she said it's a serious problem - ppl who sweat like NON-STOP have a SERIOUS sweating problem. Does anyone have any ideas on what new deoderant I should switch to or anything like that? I'LL TAKE ANYTHING! xO`

Ok a solution for this is actually getting Botox injections in your arm pit. My mother does it,and it works but it's painful, and you have to be 18 or so to get it done.

Quicker and easier ways to do this is buy buying this wonderful deodorant type stuff called Certain-Dri [best thing since sliced bread]. It can be purchased at your local pharmacy. It's fairly cheap.

Or you can use BAN roll on deodorant. Both work fairly well, but i prefer to use Certain-dri

I used to have the same problem when I wore anything. It was my deodorant, I used Dove. I told my mom and she bought me Women Degree Ultra Clear and it works great, and smells good too. You don't have a problem, it could just be the clothes. Try using a different deodorant and shaving your armpits everyday helps too. Hope I helped :)

Hey, Well i use secret gel deoderant, & it works really great and smells good too. I would switch deoderants tho if you keep on sweating. Or if that doesn't work, put guys deoderant on , seriously like the non-sented kind, because guys deoderant is stronger.

Hey, I had the SAME THING happen to me. Well, my mom got me this not-so-famous brand of deodorant, and, it works so great! It is the liquid Dry Idea. You can find it at Rite-aid or Walgreens, or anyother drug store. I was sweating all the time without it. But anyways, I dont think its the type of clothes you wear. Well, hope this works for you!

it has nothing to do with you
it has to do with the weather
just like put on extra deoderant
and try to stay in shade and drink water thats what i recomend and since ur in to the fasion stuff
id pretty much tell you the holister is kinda made for beach wear stay away from sweatshirts and juicy iknow they use cloth material so wear like tank tops ect. its really basic if u just think

Hey,
I've read your problem and i don't want you to worry at all. Alot of people have this sweating problem in common. And it is not serious at all.
I have a friend of mine. She has to shower three times a day, and she keeps putting on these deodrants and sprays , and she still sweats alot. So its not something serious, there are just certain people who sweat to much during the summer because their body can't take all the heat. But its no big deal. Just keep on showering alot, and try new deodrants , maybe the ones you buy are not that good, and don't run alot or do anything that could make you sweat. But its okay, and i don't want you to worry.

I use Ban and Secret and they work really well. It could be the material but it could be that you just sweat more than others. Sorry that didnt help much.
