conversation starters?

Question Posted Monday July 24 2006, 10:41 am

i havent seen my cousins in like three years! they are really religious, dont watch tv, used to be homeschooled and are very sheltered (three girls that are about my age and three boys that are pretty young). This weekend im about to see them for the first time in so long. do you have any suggestions for conversation starters and things we could do that would make things less awkard.

Hmm, well you could try asking what they've been up to and start a conversation that way. If you really want ideas on what to do, you could ask them what they like to do. You could try just talking the whole time or you could see if there are any games that they know how to play or like to play, if any. If not, you can teach them. Some game suggestions: cards, trivial pursuit (something educational), monopoly, etc. Good luck :) hope I helped.
