Ok. So im not quite sure if this is the right category, but... Ok, so there's this poetry reading at the library here in town and im nervous about reading my poems because my friends say they're good but I don't think so. Secondly, where can I get them published and get payed for it? I want to make money off of them and get them out there but 1)IM not sure if they're good enough. 2) I don't know the process

Well hey,
First thing dont try to get them published if you dont think they are good. It doesnt matter if your friends do, if you really like it, then go for it. Its all about you, poetry is usually personal. :)
Try googling publishing place, or talk to a librarian you know, they usually have connections. And she/he can give you the information.
