I'm a 14F turning 15 in 3 months. I still haven't had my 1st period and am VERY curious to find out how soon it is coming. I have heard that you get it around the same time as your mother did, but my mom got hers when she was 11, almost 12. I am 5'1" and 95 pounds. Any estimates?
OooSooPreppyX3 answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 11:35 pm: Well, it depends, my mom didn't get hers until she was 16! I'm assuming you might get yours soon. [[Sorry I couldn't really have any estimates, only i know it'll happen soon.]]
But BE LUCKY! I wish I could go back to not getting my period, so enjoy not having it while it lasts! lol
Hope I Helped!
sexybandgeek answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 7:55 pm: It may be your size, or maybe you just develop later than everyone else. I wouldn't worry until your 16 or 17 and still haven't gotten it. For now, I suggest you enjoy it because once it comes you'll dread it. [ sexybandgeek's advice column | Ask sexybandgeek A Question ]

ashlynn answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 4:51 pm: Its just your mom that effects your period. My mom got hers at 15 and I got mine at 10. Mine was that way because my aunt got hers at 8. Look into when your other female relatives got theirs. [ ashlynn's advice column | Ask ashlynn A Question ]
avia answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 4:17 pm: I would say soon. I have 3 sisters and we all got ours at very gifferent times my oldest sister didnt get hers till she was almost 17 so it really depends on you, not you mother
laycieee answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 4:16 pm: If I were you, I'd be happy I didn't get my period yet. I got mine about a year ago, but don't worry I know girls, such as my cousins, who didn't get their periods until they were sixteen and seventeen and their mom got her period at age twelve. I think you will probably get yours this year and if not, then the next. You will get yours I promise, you just have to wait. Hope I heped :) [ laycieee's advice column | Ask laycieee A Question ]
FrEe2bMe answered Wednesday July 26 2006, 4:09 pm: There's no combonations you could give of your characteristic that will "estimate/predict" the arrival of your peiod. Some females don't get one until age 17. Acutually, feel luck you haven't. They can be a pain. An indication that you might be near starting though could be, weight gain, discharge in your undies, tenderness to your breasts, cramping, and the development of pubic hair. Not all of these things will happen--or all at once, but they're something you can be on the lookout for. In the mean time, enjoy nothing having to worry about it! :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
