15/f I am not a very sexually active person and have never gone past 1st base. My question is if while masturbating you break you own hymen are you no longer a virgin? Like if a guy asked you if you were or does it not really count?

It usually depends on your personal preference. Some people tear their hymen by doing every day activities. Like running, jumping, gymnastics, or whatever. And it would be weird to have never done anything sexual and to call yourself a virgin. I was being fingered when my hymen broke. I still considered myself a virgin until I had actual intercourse. So yea, it's all up to what you want to think.
