So this September, my mom and I have decided we're going to take a cruise to Bermuda. There is only one thing that is holding us up to buy tickets, finding someone to come (as in one of my friends). Well, the problem is I don't have a LOT of friends, but I have a good amount; and none of them can afford this. So I would like my boyfriend to come along, and I have been with him for 1 year and 9 months; so it is not like she doesn't know him. (I'm 15/f he's 17/m) Well, I'm having difficulties on how I should prove to her that she can trust us. April of 2006, I had a pregnancy scare, and she has mostly given us our trust back. But, since then, my period has been regular, never late, and I have not done anything with him for her to not trust us since that one mistake. I've also been helping her out around the house a bunch for the past few months. So I think these things should prove to her that I am responsible now, and I know what to do and what not to do. I've been honest with her about everywhere that me and my boyfriend have gone, and what we have done while we were out. He is the only one that can afford to go on this cruise with my us. Also, on September 18th, it will be our 2 year anniversary, so I think it would be a great way to spend our anniversary. He will be 18 by then, and I will still be 15, but I'll be turning 16 in November. So my question is, what can I or my boyfriend and I do to get her to allow us to go together on this cruise?

my dad calls me fat sometimes.. it makes me so mad! because really im not that fat.. i've gained a few pounds but im a growing girl who hasnt really played in sports for like a couple months, which is my parents fault for not registering me. i dont like running.. and i do it like once a week.. but i have to do things lik soccer or volleyball where i dont really pay attention to the fact that im running and such, making it easier. but when he calls me fat it really pisses me off because there are people waaay bigger than me. we dont have a scale.. but honestly im not that fat. i even eat healthy foods.. sometimes i eat candy and chocolate but what kid doesnt? i eat whats in the house which is usually like african food my mom and aunt make.. so... yeah.

and the "fat" comment really annoyed me too, cause that day i hardly ate anything at all. cause i had PMS and whenever i have PMS for some reason the cramps make me not wanna eat. (explanation?) cause my dad said i eat too much, and im like "how do yo know what i eat all the time? i barely even ate anything today!" im not going anorexic or anything but i felt like i wanted to do that or just eat alot to make him mad for saying that comment. he never apologized, which happens alot for alot of things.. they just forget about it the next day and not really apologize.. him AND my mom do that alot. but i dont forget. i dont like people calling me that. i should be able to choose how i feel about my body. obviously i DO know that im not in the best shape right now and i'll solve it.. but it pisses me off that he had to say that to me! i was like "i dont fucking care!" when i did.. and he like smacked me cause i said a cuss word.. and i like never do in front of my parents.. they dont even like the word "piss", though they call poop "shit" and say "damn" sometimes too.

well american eagle has a lot of contrast colors! and contrast colors work AWESOME, with light blues! if you go and get a plain light blue shirt somewhere, match it with some cute tan or brown cargos, and then maybe a langard necklace from american eagle! -mo

So I just came out of a 24 hour relationship...Amazing, right? Not really. This is probably my 10th boyfriend and all of the previous ones have been jerks too me, I was so tired of it. Then this kid Gary was talking to me, and he dropped a few hints that he liked me, and then I dropped a few hints that I liked him back..But see, we only met once, and then we started talking on myspace and on the phone..
Then he was going to ask me out, and I told him I didn't really know, because if he met me after we started going out, he might think of me differently...

You know how someone talks to you for a long time, and you get a picture of how the person is, and then when you meet them, they're totally different?

Well that's what I ment, and he told me it wasn't going to be like that. He also told me that he'd treat me right unlike my exes and he's a really sweet guy too, and even like my friends that know him say he's really nice too, even my stepmom knew who he was, and said he was nice.

So he told me to don't worry because nothing will change, so we started going out. The next day we went to the pool and we started to hang. Normally I'm shy at first and then I get a little more comfortable. I thought everything was going all right, but like later he dropped another hint that "maybe you were right about us thinking that we are totally different then what we expected."
So i'm thinking, crap...

So later that night he broke up with me.
Great, he lied to me. BIG TIME. Thanks to him I'm like not trusting any guys for now on, because i've had 10 boyfriends who've done the same exact thing, and it's ughh...horrible!

So yah, he called, and said he only sees me as a friend. I'm just playing cool cuz yah know it would be retarded for me to start crying on the phone...Then he said he still wants to hang with me, like that'll happen! Normally I come to a point where I only have people who bring something into my life, why would I still want to hang with him? I wouldn't want to hang with him and pretend like everythings "okay"...
So yah, we were still on the phone, and he got another call, and I wasn't going to wait, so I hung up and turned off my cell and I started to cry...Pathetic, I know. But, I mean it's just hard how he said he wasn't going to be mean to me and lie to me and crap when he kind of did.

Atleast he did it now and not later so everything would be like worse..

And now I don't know what to do. I tell myself I don't want to date anymore 'cuz it's hurtful and nothing ever good comes out of it, for me...What should I do? I'm a nervous wreckk...ahh god here I go crying again..

now that it's summer my bf and i spend a lot of time together. we don't have a lot of money, nor do we want to constantly spend it all...but we will spend it on things like movies and dinners. other than that, we stay at home and watch tv usually. it's pretty hot outside, so it's kind of limiting...but i'm still open to suggestions. basically- WHAT CAN WE DO? i love being spontaneous but he usually needs future notice, i'd like to plan a lot of things for us to do so i don't get bored just sitting at home. what's fun for couples to do in the summer thats not outrageously expensive?

Me and my best friend are having a really cool pool party where the theme is pretty n pink. So we are taking three pictures to put on the invitations and we are also having a big bulletin board put up of pictures of us. and we already have 3 all pink outfits to take them in. But anyway.. my mom smokes cigarettes and i really really want her to quit. ive told her how she can die and possibly me and ive told her to stop uncountable times and she says OH WHEN IM READY or NEXT SUMMER and it never happens. she tried quitting multiple times but gives up, we have patchs and she doesnt use them

I know this isn't the right category but it's the most popular so please just bear with me.

I am so miserable. I've had nothing but a run of bad luck for the last two months.

First the business I worked for closed down, so then I had to find a new job, I found one but hate it.

Then my car was broken into $600 dollars worth of damage.

I live with my grandparents and my grandma is so strict on me, I do absolutely nothing wrong, I don't go out and drink and party, i'd rather stay home with my boyfriend or have a night with the girls. My friends are good people, most of them are at uni.

My boyfriend and I have been together for just over two years. I'm 19 he's 21 in 3 weeks.

In my new job I have to study for it. I have a computer at home but it's easier for me to use a laptop so I could study quietly in my room so my boyfriend lent me his.

We plan on moving in together in the next 12 months so instead of me buying a laptop he's getting a desk top computer and i'm using the laptop.

Well last night I was saving things in my memory stick so he could have all his stuff on the new computer then I cam across conversations between him and all these other girls.

Ok mind you the conversations were two years ago just as we got together but they were dirty conversations with other girls and some of them even said um you have a girlfriend and his response was what goes on here stays here.

I was hurt although they happened a long time ago it was hard to read something like that from someone you love so much. At that stage he was sweeping me off my feet and tell me he loved me for the first time.. why was he still talking to these other girls...??!

I confronted him about it and he said they meant nothing and that none of the convos went any further then that.. where has my Mr Perfect gone?

Am I over reacting because they were a long time ago..?? I guess it was just a shock to see that side of him.. I have never seen that dirty side of him... never!

Could he have just been after a bit of fun because I wasn't there? But then again that's still no excuse right??

I live in a small town so I know who all these other girls are.. I guess I just feel embarrassed becaue those girls knew that I was with him and he was still after more.

Now back then, I was still at school.. As I said my grandma is very strict so I want only allowed to see him on the weekends.. We did only just get together.. about a month before those convos started.

Should I give him credit for waiting for me or be mad at him for disrespecting me?

I'm tired of being miserable.. I love my boyfriend with all my heart and I know he loves me and I know he has always been faithful to me.

I can kind of understand if he was looking for someone else back then but I just wanted to know if it was right to be mad at him..!

I'm a bit "out there" and wacky, and I like doing weird stuff to my hair.
Its about halfway down my boobs, brown, and straight to sometimes wavy.

I already do spiky side buns, Princess Leia buns, pigtails, side braids, hair up with chopsticks and of course just parting it differently.

16/f.. so i am sooo sick of being known as the shy quiet girl. i went to a private school up until 9th grade, where my group of friends & i were basically known to never talk [which was bull bc we did but we werent so loud & out there]. i thought when i changed schools itd be a whole new beginning. it has been a little bit as ive been forced to open up and make friends, but soo many people still say im always soo quiet and never say anything. well since you said you never have a lot on your mind to say, you don't say anythign on your mind! maybe if you join a team or club, you will have more oppinions to satte! don't change who you are just because of some people who think your too shy! just make sure you are comfotable with the people you are hanging aroud with, and you shuold be able to open up with them a lot! good luck with everytihng!

this summer i really want to make a whole new me!!

right now i have blonde/brown hair and about shoulder length, layers, and i normally part it in the middle

so yeah... i want to make a whole new me

i want-

dye my hair completely brown
let it grow out (maybe underneath my breasts length)
keep my layers
get sidebangs
part my hair to the left or the right


as for make-up, i normally wear a gold shimmery eyeshadow up until my brow bones, then blush, mascara, black eyeliner, and some lip gloss


my mom tells me i wear too much make-up... how should i make the make-up less visible but still make me pretty?

do these changes seem good to you? if not, please give me tips

i can't help you with the hair, but it sounds cute, on what your planning! but on the makeup deal, i had the same problems! id go all natural on your face, and put a shimmery peach or blue on your eye (really really light though). then take some brown, black, or grey eyeshwdow and applay to the top line of your lashes. (with a shadow brush, or q-tip) to top it all of put on black velvet mascara! lipgloss is allways good too! hope your mom approves!

i hope this doesnt offend anyone. my family is catholic, but i live in a place where almost everyone is baptist. all my friends go to this one really huge baptist church. and i guess at this church they believe that catholics arent really christians and wont go to heaven. i know people have different beliefs and im fine with that. but sometimes people will say stuff that really hurts me. like once i was showing my friend and her mom my baby pictures and there was a picture of me in my baptism gown. and her mom started telling me how my church is wrong to baptize babies, and how shes so glad her daughter was baptised the "right" way. and then last night i was at a sleepover and there was this girl there that i didnt know. she asked me what church i go to and when i told her, she said "oh. well, catholics arent the strongest christians." there was this big silence and no one said anything for a long time, and i didnt know what to say. i dont blame people for believing what their church and family teaches them, but i dont understand why they have to say mean things that would hurt someone. and i dont know how i should react when people say that kind of thing to me. has anyone been through something like this? and how did you handle it?

the first thing you need to do, is tell them what you believe! all about cristianatity is to "spread the good word" i know that you are trying to be respectul but its no disrespectuful to just come back and say, " well this is what i believe in, and i think its a great thing to get baptized." if they ask why you sya the things you said, maybe they will apreciate it more, just don't excepct them to change religions! ha. hope everything gos good! :]]
