It's possible that you might have the STD, but you won't know for sure until you get tested. You need to do this right away because if curable STD's are caught early, you can get rid of them with no problem at all. If the disease is allowed to progress, the health hazards to you will increase also. You can go to your regular doctor, the gynecologist, or your local Planned Parenthood (or similar such place) for testing. There might be a small fee and a cost for the medicine as well.

Im 5'8" ish.. and i LOVEE high heels.. but i never buy or wear them because i feel so HUGE with them on.. im only 16 and i dont want to be intimidating (especially to boys!) Do guys find tall women attractive or do they prefer shorter (5'5", 5'6") more attractive? By the way..the way to describe my body is muscular.. my thighs are really toned and im about 151 lbs. Oh, and i have big boobs. Should i stick to flip flops or go with high heel strappy sandals which id LOVE to wear and feel confident!? (link)

First of all... you don't need a guy's approval to wear the kind of shoes that you like. If you like heels and strappy sandals you should wear them. I'm a tall girl also (about 5'7''), and I wear them all the time. I'm sometimes taller than my boyfriend when I wear them, but he doesn't care. Most guys don't care about stuff like shoes in the first place, so what's on your feet is not going to interest them in the slightest.

okay. So I recently started shaving my crotch area. But now it like .. hurts when I have to go to the bathroom. Do I have like an STD or is from shaving? Because I know that area can get infected easily. God, I'm so scared. I really hope I don't have an STD. (link)

You don't have an STD, so don't worry about that. If you just recently started shaving, chances are that you have a tiny cut in that area that you can't see. It will sting when you go to the bathroom for a couple of days afterwards, but that should go away when the cut heals.

well my boyfriends birthday is in two weeks, and last night he just got really injured playing football, and we had to go to the emergency room and everything.. but hes gotta have sergery so he cant walk for a week.. and yatta yatta..he cant go anywhere on his birthday in pain like that.. so i wanted to do something for him.
im gunna make a cake and bring it over and spend time with him but i dunno what to get him. any help would be wonderful =]
also... no cologne or clothes i always do that.. nothing to do with football cause hes real upset, he probably wont play anymore and its his senior year..

You could always just rent a bunch of his favorite movies and order pizzas for the two of you. That would be a great way to spend time with him for his birthday and it would help to take his mind off of his football injuries.
Or... you could have a big thing and invite all of his friends to come over as well. Either way, he's sure to have a good time if people don't focus on the fact that he got hurt.

I really want to be a landlord when i get older. What does it take to be one (how much college and what kind of investing) and what are the responsibilities and jobs a landlord does? it seems so appealing! i could be in charge of a bunch of apartments and rake in good money right? (link)

You don't necessarily have to go to college to be a landlord. You just have to own the property.
As far as responsibilites go, a lot of money and time is involved on your part but you do make really good money as a landlord. You must buy the property, do things to the inside of the places to make them appealing to people who might want to rent from you, keep the yard maintained (if there is one), and fix all the little things that sometimes go wrong with the house. It's also the landlord's job to collect rent and see that people clean up the place when they move out. You would be responsible for finding new people to move into your apartments when others move out as well.

about 3 weeks ago, i became sexually active for the first time. i haven't gotton my period yet. I've been stressed, but my breasts hurt, i feel sick to my stomach no matter what, and my back hurts. It could be the weather (with my back) but I think i could be prego. I took the home test and it was negative, but i still don't have my period. I know having sex can cause irregular periods, but should i see a doctor? or something? i don't want my parents to know...but any answers would be appreciated. (link)

If you are more than two weeks late having your period, you should take another at home test. If that comes back negative, then you need to see the doctor about it. You could always go to your local Planned Parenthood for a pregnancy test to find out for sure. Everything there is confidential, and they won't tell your parents if you don't want them to. If Planned Parenthood isn't in your town, there are ususally other places that offer the same types of services.
It's possible that you're pregnant, but if you use protection, the chances are greatly decreased.

If you feel that it's the right time to have sex, you should do it. If there's anything that's holding you back, don't do it. If you only do it to make your boyfriend happy, or for any other reason than a real desire to do it.. you will regret the decision for the rest of your life. If you do choose to do it, make sure you use protection.

hello! i am totally obsessed with getting the new sidkeick 3. I read every blog about it everyday and every website. I don't know, it's the first electronic that I REALLY want. One problem: i only have 60 dollars. and asking my parents to buy it for me is out of the question!!! The only thing I can do is work at my dads store, and i make 50 dollars a week!! It will take me so long to save up for the sidekick 3, and it comes out july 10th! I just want to buy it as soon as i can!( but i definitely dont need to buy it on july 10th) SO: what are some fast ways to make money. DO NOT SAY GET A JOB SOMEWHERE CAUSE I'M TOO YOUNG. (my dad lets me work at his storre cause im his daughter) also, no babysitting cause i put up like 5 flyers in stores around town for me babysitting but no ones has called and its been 3 days. please i'm desperate!! If you really want to get it you should keep working at your dad's store and save up all the money you make from working there. It might take awahile, but you'll eventually get there. You should make more than five flyers for your babysitting services, though. Make up about 50 or so and just start posting them anywhere you can find a place to stick them at. Someone will call eventually. There are tons of parents looking for someone to watch their kids over the summer instead of paying for costly daycare. You could ask your parents if they know anyone from work that needs a babysitter.

It has recently come to my attention, that my cousin has been taking 5-10 tylenol a day. He has started acting really weird, and complains of his foot being numb. Is it possible that by taking 5-10 tylenol, he could be overdosing? If he is, what should i do? (link)

Depending on the dosage of the tyleonal it's possible that he is overdosing. If he's not taking the tyleonal for any specific pain that he's having it's not healthy for him to be taking it at all even though it is an over the counter drug. You should tell an adult about what your cousin is doing even if you think it seems like you're being a tattletail. Overdosing on pills is dangerous and the behavior should stop immedately.

Hey guys! It's summer for me right now and I've been going to the pool a lot lately. All the girls my age like run around and flirt with guys and stuff, and believe me, I'm all for that but I always feel so uncomfertable in a bathing suit. I mean, I don't think I'm fat or anything, but like my stomach is really hairy and I have to shave it (Is that normal?) and like the back of my neck is really harry, too. I can never run around in my bathing suit because it like rides up and then like half of my vagina is showing (I'm exaggerating a bit there.) But what should I do?! Some girls do have some noticable hair on their stomachs and in other places like the back of the neck and on the lower back. This is perfectly normal. Don't worry.. you're not a freak of nature.
When you're looking at swimsuits, if they're riding up on you, you could try buying the bottoms in a bigger size. If that won't work, you can also try to get the suits that come with the little "boy shorts" instead of the bikini bottom. If nothing else, you can always get some type of coverup for your bottom half. They make shorts, skirts, and wraps that match your swimsuit.

Both of you will be in high school this year, so it's really not that big of a deal. If you like him and he likes you, the age gap shouldn't get in the way of your relationship. If you feel wierd about it you shouldn't waste your time on the relationship at all because it will just end in disaster if you continue it. As for people thinking that you're desperate for dating a younger guy... If they want to say that, just let them. You know how high school is... everyone's always in someone else's business.

You should just tell them that your mom said that there wouldn't be enough room on the car for all of your. If you're going to more than one college, you could take one friend to one college with you and the other friend to the other college with you. That way no one's feelings get hurt. Your friends will probably be really understanding about it. Just be honest with them an don't make it seem like you're choosing one friend over another one.

A little more than 25 years ago, I met a guy who became a friend. About three years after we met, he took my car out one night, got drunk and smashed it up. I had to pay to tow the car away, junk it, and for tickets. Cost me over $1,000 at the time. He never offered to pay me for the damages to my car.
He was doing bad financially at that time and I figured that later on, when he was doing well, over time he would find some way to compensate me because we were still "friends."
Fast forward 25 years. This "friend" is single and doing well, owns house, car, good job, etc. Last year I borrowed $300 from him to buy emergency plane tickets, and told him I'd pay him back when I could. About three weeks later, he began to demand repayment in full. He was nasty about it so I reminded him about his car wreck 25 years ago. Nobody made him pay then.
He was still angry; I was stunned. No, I did not ever pay him back. The crisis has passed but I want to know, who's right about this? Should he get his $300 back? And what about people who think the passage of time relieves them of their financial and moral obligations? Your help please....

I think you should give him his $300 back... and when you give it to him, mention something about the $1000 that he never paid back to you 25 years ago. Obviously there's something to be said for charachter in situations like this... Neither one of you is "right" because you both are guilty of screwing over a friend. Hopefully you both learned not to lend money or cars to friends in the future... it doesn't usually end well.

At Target you have to be at least 16 years old, but at a lot of other places you can get a work permit and work when you're 15. It all depends on the place, really.

i recently learned that one of my very close friends is bisexual. She didnt tell me, i just kinda found out through the grapevine. Well, I'm fully supportive of her and everything, but I just dont know how to deal with it. How do i tell her I know? I dont want things to be different between us, because we're really good friends. If you heard it through the grapevine, it may or may not be true. In the case that it is true and your friend just hasn't told you about it yet.. don't worry about letting her know that you know. She will tell you when she feels ready to. The most important thing you can do is not to let your friendship be compromised because of her sexuality. Don't feel like you have to do anything different or treat her differentlly than you would have normally.

It doesn't really matter what you wear because the ceremony's about the graduates.. not about the people out in the audience. If you feel comfortable wearing something that's a little more dressy, that would probably be more appropriate than jeans and tshirts. Don't worry too much about it, though. I'm sure your friends will appriciate that you came to graduation reguardless of what you're wearing.

It depends on the guy, I think. Some guys appriciate the fact that their girl took the time and energy and picked them out something. Other guys will look at it as an attack on their "manhood" and think that the girl thinks that he's not capable of doing things like shopping on his own. As sad as it is to say, there are even some guys that will stay with a girl who enjoys buying gifts for others just for the gifts. Most guys don't use girls for money or posessions, but you have to watch out for the bad ones... I would have to say that most guys do appriciate the gesture, though.
If you're noticing that you're doing all the giving and not any of the recieving it might be time to move on. :)

Just do whatever makes you feel comfortable. You shouldn't feel pressured into making the first move, but if you are comfortable with it by all means go ahead. Some guys get nervous when they're around their girl AND their friends. Try not to read too much into it, though.

I've known my bestfriend since 7th grade (we're now both juniors) and we're the closest two friends can get and I love her to death.
Our freshman year, we'd always hear about this girl Meagan and how slutty and bitchy she is. Meagan is a grade ahead of us. Well, 2nd semester of freshman year my bestfriend had a class with her but only for about a week because she got switched out.
Last year, my sophomore year, I was in a class with her for the whole year and at fisrt I didn't like her because of the things I've heard but we started talking and she wasn't that bad. Yeah, some of the rumors were true but she was still a good, fun friend. Now we're really good friends. Not as good as my bestfriend and I, but nevertheless, friends.
So whenever I'm with my bestfriend, and I talk about Meagan, she gives me this disgusted look and talks smack about her. I tell her to shut up and not talk about people she doesn't know and then that's the end of it.
Meagan and I are going to a concert in July and I asked my bestfriend if she wanted to come with us because I know she likes that band. Well, she told me that if Meagan is going, she isn't.
How can I get her to stop being so judgmental and at least try to actually meet her?

You should just tell your friend that you're friends with Meagan and that you would like it if the three of you could all hang out together sometime. If she says no, just let her go on acting the way she is right now. Maybe you should remind her that rumors around high school aren't always true... People talk about anything and everything. It's not really all that uncommon for things to be exaggurated along the way either. I'm sure there have been some false rumors spread about your friend before... it's happened to everyone. It might do some good to remind her of that when she's judging Meagan.

Honestly, I don't think it's the place of a friend to tell the parents about that issue. If someone wants their parents to know, they should be the ones that tell them. It's a very personal issue and some people don't want anyone else knowing. If someone were to get pregnant or show signs of STD's, I would say that that's a different story and that it would be okay to tell in that situation.
