im really scared for my love life..
right now im 15 and in about 2 months i will be about 16! i havent had a boyfriend before..ive only madeout with one person and thats all! i feel..so out of place. My problem is i dont fall for people easily..so i like rarely ever have crushes..i mean im not lesbian or anything thats for sure lol but i dont know whats wrong with me. im wayy to shy for my own good. I mean i like meeting new people but im so scared what people are going to think of me. And my friend that transfered to my school always wants me to hangout with her and people from her old school but i always make up an excuse because im scared and my self -esteem is so low. I thought i was starting to like this kid..i mean i dont know but now him and this girl are going out..and i have a feeling they will be together for awhile..so that sucks. No guys seem interested in me soo its hard. I dont know what to do with myself anymore! Im soo shy..im not outgoing like at all..im too worried about what people will think of me! and i just feel like i need somebody in my life for once..but i dont see that happening anytime soon :[
can someone please give advice on what i could do or just anything?

don't even begin to feel bad that you haven't had a bf before. i didn't have my first bf till like 2 days after i turned 16 and even with him i still didn't feel comfortable. we ended up breaking up a little afterwards, but after him, i started to build more confidence with guys and since him i've dated a few guys and with every new guy, i got more and more confident about bein myself around them and now it's not really a problem. Don't be in such a hurry to get a guy cuz the right one is out there. and you don't have to be outgoing to get a guy, my best friend is reallllly shy and she has a wonderful bf and things are great between them! just don't be in such a rush...someone will come along

do your best to ignore what other people say. the last guy i was with wasn't all that well liked by people and was made fun of by a lot. but i didn't really care because i thought he was sweet, funny, nice, and treated me right. that's all that really matters, and if your friends give you crap about it, then they don't care about how you feel and are treated

Hey all, this is my first question (among probably many) that I'll be asking on this site! Ok now that that's over with, where are some fun places to take your date on? I just started dating (this is my first time ever) (I'm 19) (and she's 17) and already going to the movies is kinda boring. I mean, the whole point of being on a date is to be with the person that you like, and spending an hour or two (or three) staring at a silver screen and *not* talking to the other person seems kinda... strange. We do talk, mainly to make fun of the movie we're watching, but still, where could we go where the activity actually encourages us to talk or play while we're there? thxxx, and i heart all of you :) (link)

something fun is always the way to go! bowling is probably one of the best things...it encourages lots of fun and some talking. even going somewhere like wal-mart or target and just walking around the store doing crazy things can be really fun too! go for a walk through the neighbor hood and chat is another example...it just matters on your personal preference!

it just means that people who are completely different like each other (loud and funny vs. quiet and serious type thing) i think that in a lot of cases it can be really true. i'm sorta a wild child...like to try new adventurous things, very talkative, will do anything, non athletic, can be loud sometimes, and the last 2 guys i've been with have been fairly shy, pretty quiet, athletic guys and even the guy i'm with right now is like that...it all just depends i guess

1. yes i do believe in God. there are things in this world that only God could possibly have control over. not one thing happens in this world that God doesn't know about. I can see God truly doing a work in my heart. I was once a bitter, angry self centered person who didn't care who she hurt, but through prayer, i have changed drastically and i know that only God could do something like that
2. There is no way the Bible is a fable. The Bible is God's word's written down for Him by His people. All of the prophesies that the Bible contains says that there must be a God because it's not just a lucky guess. Things have been fulfilled that only God would know, and things are going to be fulfilled in the end times.
3. I support creation. It is impossible for something to evolve or to just happen by a bang because everything must have come from somewhere right? you can't just have empty space then have things suddenly appear...there has to have been God there to get it started. So since God was there, why have everything evolve or bang together when He could just go ahead and make everything the way it was meant to be?

I am completely confused about what I am. In regards to religion. I know i am christian, but I know nothing about it. I have never read the bible..and I know that most of the stuff in it I don't truly believe. And does God look down upon me for choosing not to believe parts of the bible? (link)

it's hard to call yourself a christian considering you have never read the Bible and don't believe in it. The Bible is God's words, He just used a man to write them down, so to say that you don't believe some of them would mean that God is a liar. God is CERTAINLY not a liar. That's what christianity is based on, it's believe that God's own Son, the Creator of all things, came down to earth in human form, died on the cross for the penalty of man's sin because man cannot earn his own way to heaven, rose again from the dead 3 days later, and is now sitting at the right hand of the Father. Acts 16:31a "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved". Ephesians 4:8 "For by grace you have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourself. it is the free gift of God to eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord". Believe on Him, and live a life honoring to Him by worshipping Him and striving to do His will, and then you will know that you are a christian

i'd say it can be a gradual process...starting at 7th grade with a little lip gloss, maybe some light color eye shadow...as the years go on just progressivly add more things. so actually wearing everything...foundation, mascara, blush, lip liner, all that, would be around freshman/sophomore year hope i helped!

the best thing to do is to make the most of the situation. spend lots of time together, talk, go shopping, you know just try to have as much fun as you can. this last summer i had to move away from an area i lived in for 16 years, and believe me, spending lots of time with my friends helped and we talk on the phone and email and everything else! it will sure help out your friend that's moving

okay i have a problem =/ my friend who i am really close to asked me to homecoming the other day, and i said no. well all along i have really wanted to go with him but people at my school hate him because he dumped one of them like 2 years ago, and they are still upset with him. the thing is, i said no because i didnt want people to be mad at me since it is only the 2nd week of school. personally i would just tell him that i would go with him. who cares what other people think?? i've had to deal with the fact that my guy isn't the most well liked guy *not b/c he isn't nice, b/c he isn't the best looking*, but i've learned to just not care, and i think you should try to do the same! hope i helped!

it's not totally true. 2 years ago i was best friends with this guy and then slowly started to like him. by the middle of the year, i was practically in LOVE with the guy. but he didn't have those feeling back because he said *it would be too weird liking a best friend* so i guess it would just depend on the person. but it is possibly to grow into something more

well guys usually tend to get better looking with age anyways. and eventually they'll fade anyway. it's better to have a guy that will treat you right and is really sweet than a guy who's hot but doesn't know how to treat a girl

the way i did it was i started talking to him just normally, then gradually went to homecoming and asked *so who are you going with?* and then if your guy says no one, just be like *well i'm not going with anyone either, so do you wanna go together?* it's quick and easy! hope i helped!
