UWishUHadMyHemi answered Saturday October 22 2005, 2:49 pm: well try jst going on a few innocent dates. ask him what his intentions are. it may turn out that he doesnt want to do anything sexual with you. then everything will be fine, right? but if he says that he wants to get in your pants, let him know that that is just NOT going to happen.. see how he reacts. if says thats fine, i respect that, then he a keeper. but if he says oh come show me how much you really like me, then kick him to the curb [ UWishUHadMyHemi's advice column | Ask UWishUHadMyHemi A Question ]
kipskywalk answered Friday October 21 2005, 12:25 am: Well that's a tough situation. It goes back to the whole "Date someone for looks or personality?" question. Of course all of us are gonna say we date people for personality and not looks, but when it comes down to it, looks are important. Many of us can't go purely for personality. I know I can't. While personality is very important, looks matter as well. It comes down to how you, as an individual, feel about him. Sometimes as you like someone and become more involved with them, they actually become more attractive. It's some physchiological thing... I don't want to get into it. That's something to keep in mind. And also, maybe he's the kind of guy you'd just want around as a friend? Friends with benefits maybe? Consider all the possibilities and keep an open mind. Most importantly, there's no need to rush and make a decision. Go at your own speed and what you're comfortable with. This is only high school, so it's our time to make mistakes. That way we know what we want as adults. I hope that helped out, let me know if I can help ya anymore. [ kipskywalk's advice column | Ask kipskywalk A Question ]

dancergirl678 answered Thursday October 20 2005, 10:50 pm: well guys usually tend to get better looking with age anyways. and eventually they'll fade anyway. it's better to have a guy that will treat you right and is really sweet than a guy who's hot but doesn't know how to treat a girl [ dancergirl678's advice column | Ask dancergirl678 A Question ]
broken_heartsx3 answered Thursday October 20 2005, 9:19 pm: its so weird how i am going through the same thing !! it really sucks because i know how it feels how it is to get rejected so i didn't know how to brake it to him. did he ask you out? or did he just say he liked you? because if he asked you out i would just say like "i think your such a nice guy and i kind of just want to be friends with you" that might sound corney and stupid but when i said that in my situation it really worked for me because now we are even closer then we were before so dont be afraid to tell him how you feel. the worst thing you can do is lie. hope i helped =]
Advicelady6798 answered Thursday October 20 2005, 9:13 pm: I know what you mean. You really cant picture yourself doing anything with him. I have been there plenty of times. The only thing you can do without hurting his feelings is just tell him that your friendship is more important to you than dating. If you tell him that you would rather keep the friendship b/c if you dated and broke up you wouldnt be friends anymore. Or if you want just tell him that you like someone else but someone will like him. Nothing is really wrong with you. You just prefer that people have his personality but with hottness included. I know that it is hard to tell someone this but if you dont you will just be miserable and i dont think you want to be. [ Advicelady6798's advice column | Ask Advicelady6798 A Question ]
jealousyxo answered Thursday October 20 2005, 9:09 pm: you shouldnt date him if you dont really want to do anything sexual with him, i was kind of in the same position as you one time.Just be friends no more then that.Just tell him that you want to say friends for now, and youll maybe see what happens in the future but for now just stay friends.Even if he is nice, if your not attracted to him or have that strong of a connect towards him as he does to you, dont go out with him even though he is a nice guy.If your not sure, hang out with him during the weekend just you too and see if theres any sparks and if not, then your just meant to be friends.Hope i could help you out!
