God..

Question Posted Friday December 9 2005, 5:41 pm

Do you believe in God or not? Explain why. Don't say because that's the way you were raised, I'm talking about how you feel now.

Do you really believe that God is real just because a book was written saying there was one? Couldn't it be a fable?

Do you support evolution and the Big Bang Theory or not? Please explain as much as you can. I will give you all 5's!

Additional info, added Friday December 9 2005, 6:01 pm:
Oh and if you bitch at me telling me "How can't you believe in God, he created you?", I will give you a 1. I believe in God. I asked this question to see how everyone else feels. Also, if you answer none of my questions like do you believe in The Big Bang Theory and evolution, I will also give you a one. I just wanted to present you the whole idea of the Bible being a giant story, to just make you think. Don't get all defensive..

Okay, this might get a little confusing, but please bear with me. lol.

Yes, i do believe in God. When i was going through a hard time he was always there, right beside me, helping me through it. I go to Church regularly and it's just amazing to go in there and Worship and feel God's presence surround you, it's the most amazing feeling ever. Crying, just having tears running down your face, because you can feel him near. If God wasn't real then how can a child grow in the womb of a women [i know you believe and things, i'm just saying. lol. i always bring this up]? It's so hard to explain.

1.) yes i absolutely believe in God because i have proof: my bible =)
2.)yes i do believe that. It couldnt be a fable. It was written 2000 years ago, and unless there were some EXTREMELY high-tech fortune tellers back then, how can you explain the bible's teachings? It says that when the end of the world is coming, and Jesus is coming back that the world will basically be hell on Earth.People will question God, make excuses about the bible's teachings, and will take away his glory from all the things he did. (sound familiar?) If you want, read The book of Romans, it will back this up. =)
3.)i guess in a sense, i believe in the big bang theory...God said BANG and it happened 8-) and if evolution is real, why arent monkeys still turning into people? and if pmonkeys evolve in to people, does that mean that unkyard parts EVOLVE into mustang convertables? i dont think so. Darwin was wrong, he even admitted it. theres no proof whatsoever to back up evolution OR the big bang theory (except for my version of the big bang theory) creation has proof. it starts with BI and ends with BLE!!!

1. yes i do believe in God. there are things in this world that only God could possibly have control over. not one thing happens in this world that God doesn't know about. I can see God truly doing a work in my heart. I was once a bitter, angry self centered person who didn't care who she hurt, but through prayer, i have changed drastically and i know that only God could do something like that

2. There is no way the Bible is a fable. The Bible is God's word's written down for Him by His people. All of the prophesies that the Bible contains says that there must be a God because it's not just a lucky guess. Things have been fulfilled that only God would know, and things are going to be fulfilled in the end times.

3. I support creation. It is impossible for something to evolve or to just happen by a bang because everything must have come from somewhere right? you can't just have empty space then have things suddenly appear...there has to have been God there to get it started. So since God was there, why have everything evolve or bang together when He could just go ahead and make everything the way it was meant to be?

I hope i helped!

Yes, I do believe in God. I can't exactly explain WHY I do, I just know he is up there. I don't believe in God just because of the Bible, but that is a factor. I think that absolutely NOT, the Bible could not be a fable. I do not support evolution or the big bang theory. I just know that God is there. I mean how else would we be here? I am blessed with God's gifts everyday, God gave me this absolutely fantastic life and created me. I owe him everything and I praise him everyday. I do not doubt God one little bit. It's good that you believe in God too=)

Yeah, I do. Or I don't. Ha! I don't know! It's like, sometimes I think "what's the point in believing in anything--we're all going to die!" but then other times I'm like "there must be SOMETHING, otherwise we wouldn't have all of this." Mostly I just think...if we can't see it or prove it, then we don't know it's there so we should just...pretend it is. Or pretend it isn't. Whichever one makes us happier. So I guess...I don't believe in God. I just make believe. Or something. You know?

I do support evolution/Big Bang, but I support everything else too. Because I don't know. Anything could have happened, I don't think anybody is right or wrong.

Yes, I personally believe in god. It did start out because thats how I was raised, but I have done research, I have thought about it a lot, I have compared christianity to other religions, and It just supported what I believe. There is a lot of "proof" out there, and honestly, I believe the earth and the human body among other things are so brilliant and complex that God is the only explaination. And really, it all boils down to faith. I think god has no problem with us questioning and researching, because thats what makes us stronger in him. You just have to believe it in your heart, and only you can make that choice.

The Bible is a reason I believe. And yes, it could be just a fable passed down, but again, thats where you have to have faith. Through research I believe there is enough proof for me personally to believe.

I do not believe in big bang or evolution. I do however beleive that it is possible that after God put us here, when times changed, he could have changed our bodies, and thats where scientists get the whole evolution thing. Im just saying its possible.

Theres a link with a lot of things proving creation....

Hope I helped. I tried the best I could to answer you.

I do believe in God, I really don't know why, it just makes me feel as if someone is looking after to me. God is kind of like a rolemodel. I hear about him all the time and even if I wasn't Catholic, I would still be interested. Sometimes, I ask myself is he real..etc. But it doesn't really matter..at least to me..whether he is real or not. Also, we had to be made out of something...I mean where did we come from? There are many theories I think, but I believe in the Bible, lies or not.
God was a rolemodel for every person..he was real( aka a man the Bible says called Jesus) ..maybe not EVERYTHING the Bible proclaims but a person along time ago proclaimed to love etc. I believe God is real...it doesn't matter what a book says. It could be a fable..we really don't know. I really do not know what the Big Bang Theory is. I do know though, I believe in God because he changed my life..as in little miracles that someone might think was a coincidence.

i've always believed in God but my faith grew stronger when sept 11th happened. many people had the same "feeling" not to go to work that day. for that many people to report that same "feeling," something was not normal. coincidence? i think not. i believe that it was not their time to die so God told them not to go to work that day. like honestly, i dont see how someone can not believe in God. to me, its pretty obvious. ok well thats where i stand. hope i helped. No, because if you are going to believe in God existing, then it's the same thing and you may as well just believe there's an enormously fat man on Mars controlling your every action and thought. Why believe in something you can't prove?
