You know how hot water freezes faster than cold water? Okay well, is there anything that says hot water boils faster than cold water, or does it not matter? I need people to answer this that honestly know the answer. I will rate!
x_mystery answered Friday December 9 2005, 6:02 pm: Cold water would freeze faster than warm water because it doesn't have as many degrees to drop until it reaches freezing point.
This would work the same with warm or hot water, it would take less time to boil because the water wouldn't have as many degrees to rise until it reaches boiling point. [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
