Hi. I have a really bad cold and i need a way to get better by tuesday. I have to go back to work on tuesday and i went to the doctor but she could only give me something for congestion but not my throat or body aches. My throat is the worst...is there anything i can do to help m throat, its very scratchy and sore when I swallow...
I would say... get plenty of rest... take benedryll and get some throat lodges/ spray. Take vitamins... drink orange juice. Soup's good too :)

MY friend is nice, but everyone talks shit about her, it's so aggreivating to listen to people talk about her in study hall. It's awful. I've said stuff to them before, but that jsut makes them talk about her more. I want to tell her, because she has a right to know, and last time I mentioned someone said something she kind of wanted to know what they said. When I did tell her, she started crying and was upset. People who make my friends cry.....they make me get all....dSFHSZXFNDFN. What should I do? Tell her when people talk about her, or keep quiet and tell her no one is?
If you were my friend.. i would want to know what people say... it's better to be stabbed up front than in the back. As long as she has one good friend (you) and if she learns to turn to God... she'll have more than enough. People will always talk and words hurt more than physical wounds... just be with her when she needs someone. A friend is more precious than anything.

ok to day i went to a bible study at school, I used to go to church and youth group but the youth minister left the church and i havent been back since....but anyway today when i was there things where really emotional...people were crying and they asked us to bow our heads and asked who wanted to be saved...the asked us to raise our hands and then the leaders came over and prayed over them...But I felt scared to raise my hand....Im regreting it now....I want God in my life but I'm afraid Ive missed my chance.
You don't need someone to pray over you to believe. All you need to do is recognize you've sinned. Repent for your sin, ask God to forgive you, and accept his gift of eternal life. You can do that in your own home. Try the Romans Road... Romans 3:23 Romans 6: 23 and so on... God was working in your heart that night. you don't have to wait for another meeting... pray as soon as you can He's always open for anyone to come.

After reading this, I know that I will get a few comments telling me that my younger sisters' life is like Tracey's life in the movie Thirteen.
I want to give background by saying that I am now 14, and my sister is 13. When I was 12, I was really in love with guys, and I had a boyfriend and stuck with him, but I did only hang out with about 2 or 3 guys, but I was young, when there was no kissing, or raging hormones. I had my first peck on the lips with my boyfriend, but went no further because I was way too young.
When I reached 13, and my sister was 12, I noticed that her behavior with boys was much different than mine. She had got a boyfriend that had gotten high all the time and was nasty.
Now, my dad didn't like this at all, but he had no control over it because of his divorce with my mom, so after he was gone, our family lost its control.
After a while, she stopped dating the guy and dated this new guy she met, I knew nothing about him. But soon, I found out that she had made out with him already. 12 year old girl. Soon, we began to see where the influence was coming from, one her friends she met, a girl that had a nasty behavior with guys.
My mom didn't seem to want to stop this, she was busy living her own life, as I was angry, and telling her how horrible shes been towards her kids, my dad was on her case about it too.
My sister has the worst attitude ever, always telling my mom to shut up and ordering her around. I didn't take her crap, if she dared to order me around, I'd just tell her to shove it, of course my mom would defend her.
Shes now 13, and my mom knows that shes tried her first cigarette. She spreads rumors, lies and has caused so much pain in our family.
So, I guess what I'm trying to ask is, that nobody wants to see their younger sister spend her life this way, my mom is still doing nothing about this, my dad still has no control, and I want something done about it. Would anyone know a possible way that I could fix this, or should I watch her pay the price of her own actions?
[NOTE: I can't talk to my mom, nobody could even guess how many battles of just trying to talk to her I've been with her, and there must be more shes doing because a friend told me that theres a lot of things shes been doing that I don't know about, I've asked her and she won't tell me.]
Look to God. Prayer is the power to settle everything. Your family is going through tough times, but dedicated prayer can solve it. Pray for your sister to see that what she is doin is wrong and mayber show her some in the bible about saving yourself for marriage... if you have a pastor.. talk to him... if you do pray and you aren't saved... God won't hear anything until you ask for salvation and mean it. If you don't have a church, join one. Your sister has a better chance if she has a Christian example to look to. Talk to your dad, too the two of you can make a difference. two is stronger than one and God is stronger than all.

people think it's weird, but I use clear mascara... it lifts your lashes to accent the eye, but looks like it's natural and no one can tell i have any mascara on.. like.. it's not black and clumpy..

My Boyfriend and I broke up a couple of days ago and i still cant stop crying. Any tips on getting the pain to go away??
You shouldn't be afraid to love again... while breaking up is hard to do... it's eather to make you stronger or break you apart. God has one specific person for you.. this guy could be it but you have to pray about it. If you aren't saved though, the only prayer he'll here is for salvation. Just rememeber, there's someone out there just for you.. God has someone for everyone who wants to be married.. he does not give you a desire to get married w/o a person to marry. He wouldn't and never does that.. Just pray and trust God.

I walked in on my very hot teacher and his wife going at it in the janitors closet one day because i was helping my principal for community service points clean her office. when i came back she asked me what was wrong cause i was mortified. seriously. this is no joke. so i dont know if i should tell her or not. but when i went to class the next day i felt very awkward and i could tell my teacher did too. so later him and his wife saw me walking down the hall and asked me if i wanted to join them at their house, as long as i didn't tell. should i tell the principal or should i join them? seriously. anyboyd that just wants to laugh at me can screw off because this is a very serious problem and i'm really stuck andi dont know what to do. please help
They're husband and wife so there's technically nothing wrong other than the fact that you're scarred for life... I wouldn't tell the principal.. I would just tell them they need to wait till they get home to risk his students their mental health. They should be able to do at least that much... If you want to let your principal know so he/she can talk to them about it then there's nothing wrong with that either.. you should be able to walk throughout the school without being mentally abused.

If he said something about it and your dad accepted Christ then he is in heaven. You can never know a man's heart. We all have to trust for the best that people we love are saved and try to lead them to Christ ourselves

my dad recently died and i cried a lot when it happened but the day after i didnt really cry but i think about it a lot. I was wondering if if it is wrong not to be crying and should be.
I hope this doesn't offend you that I'm refering to the Bible (as so are) The Bible says there's always a time for weeping and a time for laughter. You don't have to cry every second for the rest of your life. Sure, there will be hard times and you will cry. Remember the good times. So many people associate death with sadness, but if your dad was saved.. he's in heaven and is in a better place. Don't weep. Be comforted

Im "graduating" from middle school on June 13th. The problem is is that I need to know where I can get a dress that isn't to formal, but formal enough for an 8th grade graduate. Any suggestions or places are appreciated!
My sister graduated and she went to Goody's (if yall have them where you're at) and got a cute, short, but not so short, white beaded dress. It was so cute and not over formal. You can get a steal anywhere, you just have to know what you're lookin for.

I got my mom to buy me one for sports. I was always away on trips w/ school sports and clubs and needed a way to keep in touch. Also tell your parents it's a safety measure. After the columbine shootings and other bombings and stuff hapening at school, I told my mom i wanted a way to stay in touch in case something happened, but if you really don't need one don't bother your parents because they're kinda expensive (plans)

If you arent really sure if you like/Crush on him or not, give the guy a chance. You never know. Once you get to know him you may fall in love. Or.. atleast gain a good friend. Ok i know im kidna old but I had a babysitter kind of coem ovr after school till my dad comes home. Shews was 21 and really cool, im 13. Last week she left and i was really sad i cried, i know this is wierd but do you guys think im over reacting. She came everyday for 2 years.
It's not weird at all. While she was your "babysitter", I'm sure she grew to be a good friend. It's hard to lose a friend of any kind when it comes down to it. Things will be better in time.

So it seems no one cares that its right to wait untill marrage to have sex (in the chrsitian religon) and now to me it seems seroiusly wrong, but later on it probubaly wont. I just wanted to know at what age do most people lose it? Since im in 7th now, and next year is supposibly the year everyone starts. Most likly the guy I marry wont be a virgin, right? 5's for anyone who is reasonable.
It doesn't matter what every ody else is doin'. If you're a christian or not, the Bible speaks strongly about saving yourself for your husband. God does have someone planned for you and if you're a praying christian, you should pray every day for your future husband to save himself for you and you should do the same for him. If you're not a christian, though, God most likely won't hear your prayer until you pray for salvation.

You are so not alone. I haven't even had a boyfriend before, let alone a kiss, and am starting the nineth grade. It's really for the best, though. Most junior high/ middle school relationships don't last as long as long as high school. You'll meet the right one eventually.
