To tell a friend about what others are saying...

Question Posted Thursday May 19 2005, 5:07 pm

MY friend is nice, but everyone talks shit about her, it's so aggreivating to listen to people talk about her in study hall. It's awful. I've said stuff to them before, but that jsut makes them talk about her more. I want to tell her, because she has a right to know, and last time I mentioned someone said something she kind of wanted to know what they said. When I did tell her, she started crying and was upset. People who make my friends cry.....they make me get all....dSFHSZXFNDFN. What should I do? Tell her when people talk about her, or keep quiet and tell her no one is?

If I was that girl I would want to know what people were saying about me so I think you should tell her. You are right, she does deserve to know. Next time they talk about her just yell at them and tell them to stop! They are being unreasonable and talking about her for no reason! ♥

if your friend's really nice then people wouldn't be talking about her. think about some of the things that they are saying and then think about her, maybe some of the things they say aren't far from the truth?

I think that she deserves to know but I can understand why you wouldn't want her too. If it were me I would want to know that people were talking about me but I wouldn't get upset about it so there's a difference. I think that you should keep sticking up for her she's your friend and that's the best thing to do but I think that you should only tell her if she asks. If she says was someone talking about me then say yes don't lie to your friend but tell her that you stuck up for her and then be there for her if she needs someone to cry on. If she doesn't ask then don't just say hey someone was talking shit about you today that will make the situation worse. Keep doing what you're doing by sticking up for her you are a good friend and she's lucky to have a friend like you.

Good luck and I hope things work out

You need to beat those hoes up thats what you need to do. They need to stop being pussies and confront her with their problems.

So next time you asdlkgahgaljkdgahscgljksg, go ninja on them and totally beat the crap outta them! Just go nutsss! Like start screaming and doing a random mating dance of like a deer or something then come by them and punch one in the nose.

The superglue her face to the ground.

Go up to the others and bump their heads together. Then slap them across the face and take their lunch money. If ones wearing a skirt, take it off and run around with it over your head. Then wear it all day long to show ownership of her. When she wants it back say 'You will bow to me'. She'll bow then you kick her face into the floor!!! WHOA! Freaking sweet.

Anyways, yeah dont do taht. Just go up to em and say. 'if you keep talking about her like that ill have to hurt you'. When they laugh, punch one in the face, or slap them if you're a pansy. It'll work

you shouldnt tell her if it makes her really selfconsious - but if there is something that she could do to fix w/e they say then kind of help her without telling her people are saying things. its the best way to solve it

I think maybe it would be best not to say anything. It is terrible that some people have nothing better to do with their time isn't it?
The thing is, if you told her it would only hurt her feelings...no sense in doing that. Don't lie to her if she brings it up, just don't go out of your way to let her know.

If you were my friend.. i would want to know what people say... it's better to be stabbed up front than in the back. As long as she has one good friend (you) and if she learns to turn to God... she'll have more than enough. People will always talk and words hurt more than physical wounds... just be with her when she needs someone. A friend is more precious than anything.

Hope it works out
God bless
