Hi. I have a really bad cold and i need a way to get better by tuesday. I have to go back to work on tuesday and i went to the doctor but she could only give me something for congestion but not my throat or body aches. My throat is the worst...is there anything i can do to help m throat, its very scratchy and sore when I swallow...
elscorcho96 answered Sunday May 22 2005, 4:54 pm: Ibuprofen (advil) is great for sore throats and body aches, and although it does not make the pain go away 100% it definitely helps make you feel a bit better. Just get some rest and drink lots of water. [ elscorcho96's advice column | Ask elscorcho96 A Question ]

fragileivory answered Sunday May 22 2005, 1:01 pm: You can buy some cough drops, make sure they're medicated. Although, I find they only temporarily relieve my throat. Go to a drug store and get Cepocal brand if you can find it. They use them in a hospital and they are very strong. They come in a little box and taste nasty, but they're very effective.

Hope i helped
