hey all how i could i convince my parents to let me get a cell phone they said when i start working i could maybe get a cell phone and it's not because so many people have cellphones i just want one i don't know what to do but now they won't pay for it now they said i don't need one i don't know what to do tips ideas etc.... thanks

My parents told me i couldnt get a cell phone untill i had a job to pay for my cell phone.. but i bugged my parents for about 2 weeks and one day my dad and i were driving by the cell phone place and i screamed DAD STOP THE CAR and he did and he went in and bought me one.. good luck Ashlee

well give them like 50 evey day reasons why u would need a cell phone and then they would see why u want or need 1 so bad

I got my mom to buy me one for sports. I was always away on trips w/ school sports and clubs and needed a way to keep in touch. Also tell your parents it's a safety measure. After the columbine shootings and other bombings and stuff hapening at school, I told my mom i wanted a way to stay in touch in case something happened, but if you really don't need one don't bother your parents because they're kinda expensive (plans)

My parents bought me a cell phone because if I go out and they need to contact me the they can. If you are ever in trouble eg: it's late at night and you end up on your own somewhere then you need to call home. For safety reasons above anything else it is good to have a cell phone. They don't have to pay those monthly bills you can just get a pay as you go phone when you top it up yourself.

say that your always having to use a friends phone to call them and that if there was an amergency what would you do??
