How do you accentuate your eyes? How do you make your eyes look bigger, but with a natural, yet stunning and exotic kind of look? Any tips or sites would be appreciated, thanks.

The brand is Almay, and they have this new combined product which is suited for specifically colored eyes. Assuming you have brown for example, they have professionally designed colors that will accentuate the golden flecks in your eyes and also make them look larger. It looks natural because the colors are typically light and natural, instead of dark. You should try using that. If you can't find it, try wearing a clear coat of mascara, then curling your eyelashes while the mascara is still wet, then putting on another coat of black mascara. The curled eyelashes give the illusion that your eye is bigger. Well, hope it works! [ distinguishable's advice column | Ask distinguishable A Question ]

hailebop answered Wednesday May 18 2005, 6:38 am: The key is to make the most of what you have. Curl your eyelashes (this gives a better result than 'curling' mascaras), then apply a coat of mascara on your top eyelashes. If you want a natural look, brown mascara is better than black. Experiment with applying mascara on the lashes underneath your eyes too, but think 'less is more'. A tiny bit can open up your eyes, but it's very easy to go overboard and for the mascara to look clumpy.
A light colour underneath the eye can also help brigten your eyes and make them appear larger. You could try a coloured eyeliner, or a subtle shade of eyeshadow just under the eyes. You can use something shimmery in the corners of your eyes too, if you want a more dramatic look. Again though, less is more. [ hailebop's advice column | Ask hailebop A Question ]

xO_thAtS_hOTt_Ox answered Tuesday May 17 2005, 10:19 pm: sure, eyeliner and mascara, but its more than just that!
*put a dot of light mascara on the edge of your eye (closest to the nose) this will make your eyes look rounder and bigger!
*take a dark brown or smoky color, and basically trace the line where your eyeball ends (in between the center of your eyelid and your eyeshadow. when done correctly, your eyes will really be brought out. be sure that you don't do this too high up though!
*dont just stick with plain old black and brown eyeliner. try a fun, flirty color (turquoise, teal, neon/bright/shocking blues work really well!) and put just little marks underneath your eyes. this look is more fun, summery, etc.
*try blending--pick a color. get a darker shade and apply on eyelids. then, in center of eyelids, draw a line with a lighter shade. use a soft brush to blend the edges where these two shades meet together. ((this can also be done vice versa--lighter shade as base, darker on top))
