I'm just some girl. I don't really stand out much unless I'm on a stage. I'm not loud unless I get angry. And I don't love unless its proven to me first. I've been hurt almost beyond repair by people I've loved and trusted. But I can only grow from that. I live my life by my own accord. I love my parents more than anything, they have given me an amazing home to grow up in, someplace I want to come back to. I have a boyfriend who has been my best friend for a long time, he's helped me get through a lot. We've been each other's rock when times got hard.

I have my dreams and aspirations, and while some may not come true... the most important things is to know I've tried my hardest. I trust my intuition more than I trust any living person. My gut has never failed me, but unfortunately, I have failed it.

Someone once told me that I don't live in the "real world", that I live in a box - fortunately for that person, they never lived my life. My life is real to me, and me alone. I've been through a lot... I've been hurt, I've laughed.. I've seen life, and death... tears of sadness and tears of joy. I've felt every emotion known to man. Hatred, Love, Sadness, Joy, Ultimate Bliss, Anger.. So don't judge me until you actually get to know me. There's more to me than just about anyone knows. Even my closest of friends.

is there good way i can lose some weight.. im not fat at all but i got some pudge in the middl of my stoamach... please help me

Crunches are your best bet... side-ways crunches will help get rid of pudge on the sides of you too. Hope this helped. =) Leg lifts work also, because not only are you working your leg muscles, but you're working tummy ones too.

i want to wear eyeliner this year. not alot, but kind of noticeable. except when i put it on, i always manage to mess it up. does anyone have any tips??

When I put on eyeliner, I usually only put it on the bottom part of my eyes because it looks overdone sometimes if you wear it on both parts. I put the liner on the bottom part, and rub it a little so it looks more natural.

we're trying to put a picture on our advice column but all of our pictures are too big, do you know how we can make them smaller? thanks

Open up your paint program and put the picture into it. Then select the "Image" tab and click on "stretch and skew". Then you select your percentages to make it smaller (but make sure each percentage is the same to keep everything even and proportioned.)

I am inbetween of thickness and thingess of my hair and does anyone know how to(w/o a perm) how to get it like those wavy things like marykate and ashley type things and how do i get my hair straight like a avrial lavigne type w/o having to use a straightner everyday?

I have snake curlers that make my hair either wavy or curler. You twist your hair around it and then snap it secure on the ends, and you can either sleep with them in or blow-dry them. They work really well and you can buy them at the As Seen On TV stores (if you have any around) or at Sally's Beauty Supply. For straight hair, use a brush and a blow dryer. This is the simplest and easiest way to get the Avril Lavigne look!!! =) Good luck! I hope this helped!! Let me know.

I say, go for it! No real harm can be done, and you can see for yourself if he truly has changed, or what. And if he has changed, maybe you can mention it him. I always believe that you should never go against your instincts and what you feel, because you don't want to regret it in the end.

sorry this is so long but...

i have broken up with my ex about 5 or 6 times over stupid stuff i lost my hesd about and lets see the last time was cuz i siad i thought of him more as a friend cuz we didnt act like a couple anymore (BOY WAS I WRONG) and like a day after we broke up his best friend asked me out and told me he wanted to like have sex with me and stuff (im 13 and sorta a good girl) so i was alll just go fuck off with urself and he cussed me oout and stuff then i told my ex and he congradulated his friends so i got mad but after a while a like a million sorries things got better and it turns out we still love each other and the other day he put his arm around my waist but i took it off on the verge of tears... just tell me PLEASE what should i do???

I have to say, it seems like you have a bad track record with that group of guys, and if your ex HONESTLY loved you, he wouldn't treat you like crap. He is treating you like you are worthless to him, and you don't deserve to be treated so poorly. Since you are 13, I think you should see this out. Don't jump back into the relationship. I guarantee you, there are PLENTY more respectful guys out there who would probably love to be with you. Take your time. There isn't any need to rush a relationship right now.

To be straight out: Yes it can. Doing sexual things sets your horomones and inside clock into a weird direction. But it eventually goes back to normalcy.

Hey I'd just like to say to everyone that when people are asking a serious question do you have too be so sarcastic and tell them to kill themselfs?? This is a help sight not somthing to be rude about. Is there anyway people who say things like that can be stoped?

Unfortunately, that can't be stopped. And it really aggrivated me too. I asked a question before, and I got a "go drown yourself" answer. I think its ignorant, honestly. But there's nothing they can do really, since this is online. I guess all we can do is to ignore it.

I have had a lot of friends who do this. They cut themselves to make their hurt go away. And to make the real world around them disappear. To them, its just themselves and their knife. However, this may work in some respects in helping relieve the pain you feel emotionally at the moment, but think about how much pain it is causing you in the long run. You are putting scars on your body that could possibly remain their for the rest of your life... and you are also emotionally scarring yourself. There are other ways to protect yourself from the hurt in the world, and one way is to just accept the hurt and deal with it. Your life MAY be hard, I do believe it is, however, its not SO hard that you can't deal with it without cutting. If you feel like you are beyond the point of no return, and you can't STOP cutting, then you should tell someone you trust. Not someone your own age, but an adult you trust. Someone who can do something about it, like a counselor, or a family member, or a parent of one of your friends. Trust me on this one, getting help is the best way to go with this.

It's normal to be attracted to older guys. No need to worry about if you're abnormal for that. You can't help who you have feelings for. But if you feel weird about liking older guys, try to keep your mindset towards guys your own age.

Honestly, there isn't much you can do about if he will break up with you or not (or vis versa) Things happen... However, one thing you can maybe start to do is try to set aside time each week that you can see each other to try to keep things 'awake' in your relationship. Good luck, hunni.

I've been goin out with this guy for about a year now. We both really like each other and I believe it could be love (I'm 18)... we've talked about having sex, we're both virgins and he told me he's ready to have sex with me and wouldn't push me if I wasn't (and he hasn't pushed me at all)... but I don't really know if I am or aren't... so how can I tell for sure if I'm ready?!

ok..my step sister is like 8 and shes very rude. she really gets annoying but whenever i try talking to her my dad will say to mind my own business. Then she doesnt eat like ANYTHING but like carbs...(plain pasta, rice, thats it) she'll leave without eating..nobody knows what to do..(and dont tell me shes anorexic ..she doesnt even know what that means..all she wants to do is eat desserttt)her grandmother feeds her like pie and stuff right before dinner..and she has no manners of any sort...pleasee help and tell me what to do without getting in trouble myself.tx

Ahh, the horrible thoughts of a child without manners. I have a cousin who is 10 who is like that. She stayed with us for a while, and basically ate us out of house and home (mind you, she ate every snack food in the house.) But then when it came to dinner or other meals, she didn't want to eat anything. I don't really know if you can do anything about a spoiled child, except for maybe talk to her grandmother and your dad. You're obviously worried about her, so make sure you take good care of her. If you babysit her, feed her like a normal kid (food first, dessert second.)
