I was just wondering how do you get rid of stretch marks I've had them since I was 10 and i really want to get rid of them.....if you know of some ways please tell me.

Honestly, stretch marks are VERY hard to get rid of. They have different creams for them at drug stores and places like Walmart, but they really don't make a difference.

Stretch marks are caused by different things. If you gained weight all of a sudden, you're more than likely to get stretch marks because as you gain weight, your skin stretches, causing stretch marks.

Also, you will get them on your boobs, because they grow as you get older.

I've had stretch marks on my legs because I gained 10 pounds in a month, haha. But I began running & riding bikes a lot, which helped lighten them up!

I was just wondering how old do you have to be to get a belly ring??? I'm planning to get one either when I turn 16 or when I'm close to turning 16 and I was also wondering is it better to get one sooner or later???

I was 11 when I got mine pierced. It was my 11th birthday in sixth grade. If you're under 18, no matter what piercing you get, you'll always have to have a parent with you. To me, it didn't hurt at all. I actually didn't even realized she had pierced it yet until she said all done! Haha. Good luck!

how do i get my bottom links back on myspace i dont wanna get deleted.

I've been messing with my code and can't find how to bring them back.

You will have to delete the whole code. If you can't find which code it is, I'd suggest deleting them all and starting over without that code.

You're right, you will get deleted from Myspace for tampering with the advertisments and links. I had a friend who had a myspace for almost 5 years and was deleted because she used the code to hide all that junk too.

Just go through and erase one code at a time. Then after you remove one of them, preview profile. Repeat until you've found the right code.

Hi! I just got my homecoming dress, and it's absolutely gorgeous!! However, it is very sparkly. When trying it on for my dad at home, there was a thick layer of sparkles trailing behind me. Is there anyway to make the sparkles/glitter to stay on the dress and off of my date and friends without ruining the dress??

Try taking your dress outside & shaking it gently. Not so hard that the dress tears in two. But just gently shake it so all the excess glitter will fall off. When it looks like there is no more glitter coming off or at least not as much, then just take it inside & hang it back up. I'd recommend you do this now and the night of your dance. I love glittery dresses I'm sure it's just lovely. Good Luck!

schools gonna be starting in a few weeks and i want to try out some new hair styles. i don't really have good hair because i don't get the protein i need so my hair is dry and doesn't grow well and it's damaged. so until i can fix it i don't like wearing my hair down. so what are some cute up do hairstyles? maybe some website that show it?

my hair is like medium length like a little above my boob.

or if you could give me like some hairstyle that will like somehow mask my damaged hair.

If you straighten / blow dry / curl your hair, then I would definitely recommend getting the Tresseme Heat Recovery shampoo & conditioner. It works wonders! Also, try buying a straightening cream or spray that is heat ressistant, that way it won't fry and damage your hair. Definitely get short layers cut into your hair because it will make it look more healthy & grow a lot healthier.
There are also a lot of different shampoos and conditioners & products for dry & unhealthy hair. Try using one of each everytime you buy new shampoo & see which one works for you.

Okay, since I've been with my boyfriend, his ex has been harassing me.
Threatening to kill me, late phone calls, prank calls, throwing harsh sentences as she goes down the hall.

We took it to the principal, more than once, he never done a thing.
I had to spend the last three days of my sisters senior year at the house while she still went to school.

This summer she's even egged my boyfriends house, four times.

My mom went to file charges with the CDW.

My boyfriend ex is phycho, seriously. She'll never stop.

We've even called it truths, not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES!

And she just wont stop.
She's now accusing me of harassing her, saying i called her, then she asks for my number, she's just wanting an excuse.



Its gotten so bad, that mom and dad are threatening to change schools if I don't do something about it.

I would fight her, but the truth is, I'm afraid of the embarassment of getting whooped.


Please help...if you need more info I'll be happy to give.

Honestly, I've been and am going through kind of what you are. The only difference is it is with one of my ex best friends. She would call my house leaving threatening voice mails. Call my house at 2:00 in the morning when my dad has to leave for work at 4:00 a.m. She would post things about me MEAN things at that, on her myspace. She would go to my work tearing everything up out of spite & call my boyfriends house telling him to tell me to watch my back. At school, she would say things to me in the hallways & to all her friends. The sad part is, I let it get to me. I wasn't "scared" of her. But I guess the things she said just kinda hurt me. I didn't go to school for 3 months because of it. I would have turned her in to the police, but I felt as if that would just make it worse. So now, I've learned to just ignore her because I know I'm a good person & don't deserve all of that. I shouldn't be miserable because she wants me to be. So my advice to you, is just really ignore it. Eventually it will all pass over. I wouldn't normally give the advice to just ignore someone, but considering I've been in the same situation, it really does work. When she sees that she isn't getting to you or your boyfriend, she'll learn that she doesn't make a impact in your life at all. If ignoring her doesn't work after a month or two, then take it to the next level. Don't fight her, that will only make it worse. Because considering teenagers now days, whether you fight her or not your still going to be considered a wimp. If you lost the fight, she'd tell everyone she whooped you butt. If you won, she'd still tell everyone she whooped your butt. So you really can't win. The only thing you could really do is get a restraining order if things got way out of hand. I recently got my hair cut, pretty short.
And I want it thinned so badd!
I'm afraid it will look bad though.
Its the same length all the way around, its on my shoulders...no layers, nothing except side bangs.

Any ideas?

I want choppy layers, and choppy bangs, i just need a new style.

I'm in Cosmetology, so if someone came in and wanted what you want done to your hair, I'd have them ask for this. Ask for SHORT layers in your haircut. It will make you have a lot of layers & for short hair, it will look good. Then tell them you want your ENDS JUST YOUR ENDS razor cut, which will give you the "choppy" look. You can have your whole head razor cut, which thins your hair out a lot. However, there is a downfall to doing that. It normally just takes a couple layers of your hair completely off, but when it starts growing back, the top of your head will have little hairs sticking up that won't go down & it'll be frizzy. I wouldn't recommend thinning your hair. Just get short layers & your ends razor cut & it will give you the look you desire! (:

how do u meet guys in a small town from different schools?

I live in a very small town, so I've accomplished learning this, ha. Go to other schools football games. If your school is playing another town's football team, then go to the away game. You'll have people you know to talk to there, because a lot of people go to the away games, and you'll also have a lot of new guys there! Also, try going to a mall of some sort that is in another town. It was when I was in 10th grade, I'm in 12th now. But I had went to a mall 45 minutes outside of my town & befriending some sales guy in American Eagle. I went in there & he striked up a conversation about where I was from, where I went to school. Little things like that. So malls are definitely a good place. (:

I really like this boy at school but I only ever talk to him on myspace.
Ive talked to him a little bit in person but only a few times a couple of months ago.
Im not a confident person at all, what can I do?

I know he likes me or he is at least trying to get to know me, he is always the one who starts the conversation. He usually only asks me questions about school and we talk aboutour teachers and stuff. We've never really talked about anything else. I find it a bit awkward coz he is in my class but we dnt really talk, only online. I am not confident and i dont know what to do.

Just take your time & get to know him. Start conversations like, hey how was your day? Ask him what he likes to do for fun and what his interests are. Find out if ya'll have anything in common & just start making conversations out of that. Good luck hun! (:

Iam moving in with my cousin and i need ideas for decorating for my new bedroom and iam 19 years old if that helps and i like bright colors.

Well, if you're looking for paint ideas for your walls, I would say...

Bright orange or pink walls, with other bright colors as your trim. I also, had a friend do her room with REALLY pink walls, black fuzzy carpet, black & white trim, and her ceiling was black & pink but it was sponged on.

Target does have a lot of cute things for bedrooms such as comforters, pillows, etc.

ok so whenever i shave down there it starts growing back after just one day. and then it itches really bad when it's just about to grow out.
and since i have dark hair you can still see the hair after i shaved.
what can i do about these problems?
could i wax down there?

Aw, I have the SAME problem. I'm Italian, so I have dark, thick hair EVERYWHERE =[ I've found that if I don't shave every day but maybe every 3 days, it's smoother & you can't see my dark hair even after I shave. If you shave everyday, it'll only get thicker & it will start hurting when you go to shave. I wouldn't recommend waxing down there because it is really painful, unless you can bare the pain! So ever since I was in 5th grade weird things have happened. I fell like in a way I am what you could call "phycic" (how ever you spell it)

For example: In 5th grade one day, I was in school. During class I was thinking about there being a school fire or bomb threat or something and the cops would come etc. About 10 minutes after that class, there was a bomb threat in the 5th grade girls bathroom. The whole school was evacuated and the cops came etc.

When I was in 6th grade I was in the car with my mom and my brother, I was think about car accidents. About 5 minutes later we got into the biggest car accident in the history of the town. I got hurt and almost had to go to the hospital. I was the only one who was injured.

About 2 weeks ago, I was in the kitchen, but was busy doing something so never looked up. It was my cousins wedding day and she was having the wedding at my house. I was thinking about something tragic happening. When I looked up I started coughing because my kitchen was covered with black smoke. My mother came out and forgot there was pizza boxes in the oven and earlier turned it on. When we opened the over the boxes were on fire and our kitchen went up in flames.
There isn't really any more of the story needed.

I am really freaked out because weirder things and scarier things have happpend to me.

I don't know what to do.

Is there something wrong with me or is it all just in my head?

Okay, so I have read everyones answer. Honestly, the bible does not say that there is no such thing as physics. It actually doesn't say ANYTHING about physics. It just says to stay away from people who do black&white magic, witchcraft, and all of that.

There are people who DO have the gift of having premonitions. My dad is one of those people. Doubt it or not, he really can see things happening before they happen. That is a gift from god as it states in the bible.

He gives that gift to certain people, so they can warn & help others of whats to come.

There are people that claim they can interpret dreams. I have an aunt that thinks she can do it but nothing she has ever predicted came true, haha.

Dreams can mean a variety of different things. No one really knows what dreams really mean.

Lately I have been seeing this extremely 'nice' guy. Yet somehow I never got too involved with him, I just always stood back a little bit. I sure was right not to get involved. He left his hotmail open at my house and when I went to close it I couldn't help but notice emails from several girls.

Of course I looked at them - I had a weird feeling towards him. I know it was wrong. I found that all in the same day he would tell his ex girlfriend how much he 'loved' her, receive naked photos from a girl with a boyfriend, and have another girl begging him not to tell anyone that he and her had sex because her boyfriend was already suspicious that she was cheating.

Wow! What a loser. I can't get rid of him right away because he will put it together that he left his email open; but I am going to have nothing to do with him in the future.

How do I get rid of him in a non suspicious way? I am either going to do that and leave quickly or have a talk with him saying I 'heard' some things. I am not afraid to confront this jerk. He knows I'm absolutely confident and exactly how I handle jerks - no sympathy. I feel like it's my job to stop him or at least make him feel horrible about himself so maybe he will stop. Any advice or suggestions? Thanks.

Honestly, just straight out tell him. "Hey, you left your hotmail up and I went to close it and saw something from a girl & it didn't seem appropriate so I read it & come to find out your pretty much a slut." Men like this, do not deserve girls like you or any girl for that matter.

I don't know what it is with guys. They have such a big ego and think that girls don't have feelings. I'm quite frankly, getting fed up with men like this.

I'm 15 years old, and im currently with someone that is 31, And I can honestly say I have VERY strong feeling for him. I know that sounds SO bad, if someone ever told me that I would be speechless. Honestly, I don't see how you or anyone could be attracted to someone that is old enough to be your father. But, it is your life & your decisions and I'm not here to judge you. If you do want my opinion however, I've seen a lot of cases like these when girls date guys 20-40 years older than them, because they never had a father figure in their life and that "guy" makes them feel special like a father should excluding the "relationship part." I'm not sure what your case is, or what your life has been like. But in my eyes, if you love someone you shouldn't let age, race, height, weight, gender, or any other that stop you. Sorry, but no one can write a love letter for you because no one knows what the deal is with you and your boyfriend. You can't ask someone else to write your feelings for you. It doesn't work that way. If you "love" him like you say you do, then the words should come flowing out like a song you know. Just think about how you feel about him & write it all down in a letter. As for quotes, listen to love songs. A lot of the quotes in the lyrics will just pop out at you. Good luck writing that letter.

i sprained my ankle today, august 2. and i was wondering how long will it take to heal? i put ice on it, and right now it's in an ace bandage.
and also,are there any tricks to make it heal faster?

My boyfriend sprained his ankle about a month ago. The doctors told him to stay off of it as much as possible & to NOT walk without crutches. Rest & keep it elevated above your heart. Changing your ace bandage every 3 hours also helps swelling go down. It took him about 5 days for it to be healed enough to walk on.

I probably wouldn't even ask this, but I told my best guy friend what I did, and he told me that what I did was very wrong to the point that even a Satanist would have problems condoning all of my actions.

It really has messed w/ my head since he said that, so I wanted your opinion on if you think I did the right things or not in this instance.

I was in college this past semester, and had 19 hours worth of classes. I also was working two jobs, one of them on campus for the housing dept., one off campus. I had been engaged to this guy I'd been w/ for 5 years from back home, but it was long distance by then because he didn't go to college. I had gotten pretty bored w/ him, and I had found a friend w/ benefits on the side, and the more that went on, the more I felt like I need to break off the engagement, so I did that over Christmas break.

Well, about 3 weeks before the semester ended, my ex fiance showed up and surprised me at my apt. He had a gun, but he didn't threaten me w/ it. He said that unless I got on his Harley w/ him and ran away, he was going to kill his self right then and there. I did call my little sister and I told her that I was running away w/ my ex-fiance, and she was the only person I would call while I was gone. I told her to tell our parents for me, so they'd know I was ok, but not to tell anybody else. So then I left w/ him, and we headed out west. The plan was that we were going to Vegas to get married. We were on the road for like 4 weeks, and the longer I was w/ him, the more I remembered why I had broken up w/ him to begin w/. We were somewhere in west Texas, I forget the name of the place, and he had gotten really drunk at our motel room and passed out. I looked in his pants pocket and got his wallet, and I slipped out the door. I used what cash he had to buy a bus ticket to Dallas, because he didn't have enough cash on him to buy a bus ticket for anywhere closer to home. On the way to Dallas, I ripped up or cut up everything from his wallet because I was bored, plus I didn't want someone to do identity theft on him, ya know? So when I got to Dallas, I found this strip club and asked if I could dance there for one shift to make money for bus fare, and the manager was nice enough to let me. (I had worked in strip clubs where I go to college at before.) So, I was able to use that money to finally make it back home. When I made it back home, I found out that I had fired from both of my jobs when they didn't hear from me, and also that I was on academic suspension because they had given me F's in all of my classes when I didn't show up for finals. Also, when I didn't show up to move out of my dorm room, they cleaned my room out, so I lost everything in there. In short, I lost my whole life on that trip. But still, in my mind, I did the right thing b/c he would've killed his self otherwise if I hadn't have left with him. I can rebuild what I've lost, and I've already found one new job.

The thing that my best guy friend has the biggest problem w/ was that he said if I was going to steal my ex's wallet, then I should have also stolen his gun and thrown it away or pawned it so that he couldn't use it to kill his self when he woke up and saw that I was gone. I really didn't think about that at the time, and now that it has been pointed out to me, I am a little bit worried about it.

So, did I really handle things as badly as my best guy friend said?

I myself, only being 17 years old, have been in this situation before. I was dating a boy for 3 years and then I found out I had to move in with my dad who lived in another state because my mother had passed away. The boy I dated, had told me the night before I was suppose to move, that if I left he would kill his self. At first, I was like it's just an excuse to keep me from leaving. But when I went to his house, he had overdosed on a lot of different pills & was nearly dead when I found him.

The situations aren't the same, but I know what you went through. When someone you once cared about or even still care about says something like that, and proves it to you with a gun for instance, you panic. If I was in your situation, I would not feel guilty. You did what you had to do because at the time, you felt it was best for him. First of all, never put somones life before yours. The way he made it seem, was if you didn't leave with him, he would take his life. If you did leave with him, he would basically take yours which he accomplished doing as you found out when you came home.

If I was you, I would just let it go. Do not contact him. Change your number & or anything else he might have of you. It is for the best so nothing like this happens again. I would talk to a police officer or something like that & let them know exactly what happened. They will go look for him to put him into a hospital for evaluation & keep him for being suicidal.

Gradually over time, things will seem like their falling back into place. Go back to school & start your new job. Just let this piece of your past, stay in your past. Start everything over new. I feel as if you did nothing wrong & did everything you could to make it back home safely. I'm proud of you for being as strong as you were. I hope everything works out for you.

Okay well im going into my freshmann year and im really nervous.But still exited,So like does anything happen in freshmann year? when is homecomeing?? And is freshmann year like really hard?? what goes on someone tell me??

I agree with her answer 100%. I'm going to be a Senior this year & I couldn't be happier. Freshman year was actually my FAVORITE year of high school. I'll admitt that I was SUPER nervous though. I didn't know what to expect & going to a bigger school just didn't make me feel happy. But, once I got there & got the hang of it, I loved it.

You'll love high school more than junior high or elementary school. Now, I'm not sure about the Juniors and Seniors "teasing" you and what not. That never happened to me, or anyone else I knew. Most of them are helpful & pretty nice.

The key to high school is really organization. Keep everything organized that way it's easier to keep up with assaignments and homework.

Try memorizing your schedule the first couple days of school & keep a visual note as to where all of your classes are. Try looking at what their next to. Learn short cuts & all that later when you know your way around the whole school!

Teachers will give you more freedom too. They treat you more grown up & expect you to act more grown up.

I've learned that the key to having a happy 4 years in high school is to stay away from drama. DO NOT talk about people because a lot of them could really ruin your life in school.

As for homecomming, every school is different. We usually have a "spirit week" then on that Friday it's the BIG GAME! Then, at our school we have a dance on that Saturday night that is really formal kind of like Prom.
