I accidentally deleted sound on my computer. I have no idea how but I was wondering what I have to do to get it back. Do I have to buy something or to to a website. Can I get it back without buying anything?
If the sound icon on the lower right is gone, go to start, run and type:
mmsys.cpl
Check the box next to "place volume icon in the taskbar" and press ok. It will be returned.

How do you hyperlink words on myspace?
Like when you can click on the word 'message' and it links you to the page to message that person?

"Click here to go to my myspace" will be a link on the page. If you click it you will go to http:// myspace.com/theymos.
Don't forget the " after the URL. Many people forget that, and it will mess things up.

An illegal instruction is when a program tries to access memory it's not supposed to. Usually it's memory that doesn't exist, sometimes it's memory that's reserved for another program. It's not really illegal, the police aren't coming :P .
You can tell from the low access number(0xc000001d) that it's trying to access memory that's reserved by the system. Probably drivers.
If this error is from a non-essential program that you just downloaded off the internet, uninstall the program and don't worry about it. Contact the author if you want, they will be able to fix it.
If this error occurs spontaneously or from Explorer, take it into a tech place. They will be able to fix it. If you are much more tech-savvy then you sound, I could walk you through this yourself. It is very complicated, I will not walk you through it unless you are intermediate level 3 on this scale:

I made a music video on Windows Movie maker with music and clips of various music videos.
Near the end when i play it, the vdieo lags and the music keeps playing but the video scene won't change into the one after it.
I rearranged the video scenes into different parts than the original but it's still the same; near that certain time, the video at that time stops moving and won't change to the next scene.
What can I do?
That is a limitation with Movie Maker. As the length increases, it uses more and more RAM, and it will lag more and more. The final video file won't contain the lag. You could break it up into two movie maker files, and then combine them when they're perfect. Or you could use a different video editing software, like these:

hello. I am not sure if you have PSP XI if not you may not know the anwser.
well i just got PSP XI for christmas, i used the trial version before and i was able to do this but i forgot. i have looked up many tutorials and such but i cannot find anywhere to explain how to do this, a stroke around text and the letters different colors. Also cut out images and put on different backrounds. like in this photo

They probably just change the font color after every letter in the text. That's what I would do.
To cut out the image, you need to painstakingly select the outline of it. Some image manipulation programs have a tool to help you with this.

Okay, I have a couple questions:
1. What's the main difference between how the movies are drawn in cartoon movies and anime movies? Like they look different, but how? I just can't put my finger on it?
2. As much as I am super mainstream, I loved the movies "Spirited Away" and especially "Howl's Moving Castle". I really loved the latter. Could anyone recommend any movies like that one?

In cartoons the lines are thicker and the colors are brighter. Cartoons are drawn to be simplistic, Anime is drawn to me somewhat realistic.

Not so much technology, but definitely advicenators.
I've been reading questions recently, and noticing more and more that someone will post an answer, and the next person will say something like "I would like to point out to [insert advicenator's name here] that this person was not asking THIS, he/she was asking THAT." or "[insert advicenator's name here], you're WRONG."
If an advicenator is wrong about something like a definition, it shows in the rest of the answers that come up - it's unnecessary to tell them they're wrong.
Does it bother anyone else when advicenators bicker, or pick on other advicenators' advice?
I dunno, I just thought this was a site for people to help each other.

I disagree. Often a majority of users are wrong, and you must take each of their arguments and disprove them, lest the user get the wrong answer.
Here is a hypothetical question where I think it would be important to rebut the other user's arguments:
Question: I have a computer virus. What should I do?
Answer 1:DELETE EVERYTHING
Answer 2:Use AVG
Answer 3:wow yur screwed buy a new one kthxbye
I would answer this question with:
It is unnecessary to delete everything for a simple virus. AVG sucks, and will not fix your problem. It is an extreme waste of money to buy a new computer over a simple software problem like this. [go on to give advice]
If I would have just given my advice without mentioning the others, the asker might have believed one of the other answers were more correct(or easier), and not have followed mine.
I do this a lot. It's not personal, and I'm not trying to hurt the other columnist's feelings, but I think it's critical that the asker gets the correct answer.

is it true that if you download songs off of linewire for free it gives your computer viruses?
No. There are viruses on limewire, and some of them are made to look like songs. You can avoid it by not being stupid. A song is never under 1MB, a video is never under 10MB(though rarely under 100MB). Never download a file with the ".exe" or ".vbs" extension.

-4 Probably safe, 20MB is a bit small for a video. Avi is a video format, but there are weaknesses in some programs that can be exploited.
-5 Probably unsafe, the onion router is an actual program, but this file is too small. Always download from the site if possible.
-6 Unsafe. It ends in exe. Never be tricked by .mp3.exe(or anything.exe), only the last extension matters.

sometimes when i minimize my internet browser it disappears completely! and i lose track of what i was looking at, all my opened tabs :[ and its hard to search when my history is so full i dont know where to start.
Press ctrl alt del. In the "Applications" tab, it will show the title of your browser window, and have its icon on the left. Right click this and choose "bring to front". This should fix it.
This problem is caused when explorer forgets that it has your browser open. It happens when your computer is strained by lack of RAM.

I need a converter that converts .divx movies to .mov for my iPod classic. It needs to be free.
Nothing can convert to .mov except quicktime pro.
There are a number of formats that work on the iPod, though. Download mediacoder:

You are safe if you are only downloading. It's illegal, but the copyright holders don't care about it that much, so they don't look for it. So it is completely safe downloading directly from a website.
However, all P2P applications(limewire, frostwire, bittorrent, KaZaA, etc) automatically upload as they download, and you might eventually be caught for that. The copyright holders look for people who upload, and especially people who upload a lot.
If you get caught, you will have to pay 2 to 20 thousand dollars.
To avoid being caught:
-Don't use KaZaA, imesh, or bearshare
-Use bittorrent whenever possible
-Don't be the original uploader of content unless you know what you're doing, and how to prevent them from finding out it was you

-Use secure P2P like nodezilla and OFF

hey! So I've been looking online for free downloads for my Sims 2 game. and I found this really cute bedroom set. But its a zipped file, and I don't know how to unzip it and put it into my game. I know you have to use WinZip or sumthing? but ANY ANY ANY help would be useful! Please help!
Doubleclick the file. If it is a normal zip file, a window will open with all of the contents. I don't know what you do with these. I would guess that you copy them to C:\program file\ea games\the sims.

**Solidadvice4teens is wrong. Occasionally(10-20%), movies will be released before or during the time they are playing in theaters. This is usually orchestrated by The Scene. The Scene doesn't like it when their stuff is released to P2P networks, and they work very hard to prevent it. By the time a movie makes it from The Scene, to P2P sites, to an HTTP site, the movie will be on DVD. I have never seen a pre-release on an HTTP site. It is unheard of.
Pre-releases are also very illegal(for them, not you). Uploading stuff gets you a $5000 fine. Being the original uploader of stuff gets you a $300,000 fine. Uploading stuff before it is released gets you 12 years in prison. No one in their right mind would post it on an HTTP site(or anywhere else, for that matter).

I made a slideshow video with pictures and a song and when I tried to upload it on Facebook it wouldn't let me because it had to be a certain file. I also tried to upload it on tinypic.com and photobucket.com but it also said it had to be a certain file. I tried to put it on Youtube.com and it's not working.
