broken sound

Question Posted Saturday December 29 2007, 10:15 pm

I accidentally deleted sound on my computer. I have no idea how but I was wondering what I have to do to get it back. Do I have to buy something or to to a website. Can I get it back without buying anything?

If the sound icon on the lower right is gone, go to start, run and type:
mmsys.cpl
Check the box next to "place volume icon in the taskbar" and press ok. It will be returned.

If you are hearing no sound, make sure in mmsys.cpl that your volume isn't turned way down or muted. If it's not, then contact me here:
