My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

well i have a boyfriend who is two years older then me. I do really like him but it seems everytime where out he wants to finger me or be alone with me all the time and i think he wants to have sex. I know it probably sounds stupid buit i dont think im ready for that and i dont know how to tell him.Also i dont want him to finger me all the time but i don't know how to tel him that. what do i say?? please help me.

No guy should EVER pressure you into that or anything you don't want to do. It seems like your boyfriend is in a relationship for the wrong reasons. Talking to him about this might be uncomftrable but you have to. Just tell him straight up that you're not ready for that and if he really likes you, he would respect that.

okay, well this is realy pising me off. my best friend blows me off alot, she just did and she has before alot. everytime she comes over she just calls her bf over and leaves me out while they like make out on my bed and i mean its my effin' house!! and then she ignores me sometimes andd can be so gay. and then like, she comes up with stupid exsues. sometimes i dont care, but then when she does one thing to piss me off i just remember everything that makes me so mad about her. and she doesnt even know what she does. i feel like im a good friend and she is horrible to me (not sounding mean or anything). like i try to talk to her about my problems and she just gos on abuot hers. it makes me so mad i cant stand it anymore. what should i do

I've been in your situation a couple of times before but I can never put up with it. I know that it might be uncomftrable and akward telling your friend how you feel, but you have to. She might not notice that she is doing some of those things. Ditching you for talking to her boyfriend is just rude but since you didn't mention it to her, she probablly thinks that you don't mind. The things that she does to you are just rude but you shouldn't just keep quiet about it anymore. Once you guys are having a conversation, talk to her about this and don't let her swich the subject on her. She might disagree with you and get upset, but you didn't do anything wrong and don't put the blame on yourself.

i orgionally had light brown hair, then dyed it darker, and re-dyed it a few times. then i tryed to go lighter, and the times i did it myself the roots were alot lighter and they looked weird. then i had it done at a hair place and my roots still were discolor. so the lady made my hair like black and it was all matched up but i hated it that dark. now its just like a very dark brown, and im thinking that i want it brunette/lightish brown with the underneith black (im sure youve seen how people have that).. but im scared if i dye it the roots will be really gay again. my sister said i should get all the dye taken out, but idn? what do u thing

Before you can change your hair lighter, you have to keep doing it until it finally matches up. I kind of had the same situation as you but I wated to go darker. I had light brown hair and every time I died it, my roots were really bad and it took me a long time to actually get a color I want. Get all of the dye taken out of your hair and just don't dye it for a while. Let it get healthy and once it is, dye it one solid color and keep it in a few extra minutes than it tells you. Just be patient with it because it might take some time.

hi, Im 13/f and the only one of my friends who has never had a boyfriend before. Is there anything wrong with this? What can I do to make guys like me? (besides being a hoe). There is nothing wrong with that & you shouldn't change yourself for any guy.. ever. You have to put yourself out there. Don't be shy and just have fun. Be outgoing and flirty. I can't tell you how to make out. It's not something you can just teach someone. Take it natrually and don't think about it when you're kissing someone.

what phone is better? a Verizon LG phone or a sidekick 3 and why?

I personally like the Sidekick 3. My brother just got it the other day.. & it's amazing. There are tons of features and it's just a lot of fun. Verizon LG is also good, but I like T-Mobile a lot better.

Don't lead him on anymore. Tell him that you just want to be friends because it's not fair what you're doing. You don't want to hurt him so tell him the truth. It's simple like that.

I don't know what you should do. This is a question that we can't really help you with. If you think that he is worth another chance, give it to him. You know the saying.. " once a cheater, always a cheater" , well it's not ALWAYS true. If you still have strong feelings for him and if you're willing to trust him again, give him that chance and see if he'll be different. If he does it again, don't let it upset you. No guy should ever make you sad. No one deserves to get hurt over stupid things like that.

If you don't give this guy a chance, you might regret it. Not every guy is the same and just because you expirianced a couple bad relationship, it doesn't mean you won't ever find someone better. Give him a chance and see what happens. I know that you don't want to get hurt again and you have to risk it, but just take things slow with him and don't rush into anything. Just remember that no guy is worth your tears and you should never take what they say or do to heart .. & what I mean by that is don't listen to their bull sh!t.

there is this kid that i've known since last year. let's call him chris. and my friend lets call her hallie well she has been in me and chris's classes last year also. (homeroom) well me and hallie and chris have 1st hr together and me and chris have 2nd hour together also. (we're on the same floor hockey team for phys. ed) okay well we had a school dance this week and chris asked hallie to slow dance with him and she did. i think that chris likes her but i dont think that hallie likes him that much. well i really kinda sorta like chris. today on aim i told hallie that she should go out with chris because i think that he likes you (i said that only to make her happy) and she said idk if he asks me out ill probably say yes. so i signed off and i felt like an idiot because i know that chris likes hallie and if he asks her out she'll say yes. and i really really dont want him to ask her out. i don't want to tell hallie that i like him and i really really dont want to tell chris that i like him. ugh im really confused. what should i do? thanks a lott.

You put yourself in a bad position. You could of told Hallie the truth about how you felt about Chris. Before it's too late, you need to talk to her. Tell her nicely and she'll understand. If they both like each other, you can't stop them from going out. I know it's going to be hard for you but you'll need to accept it. Anyways, talk to Hallie but you also need to think about her feelings also.

i want to try out for the cheerleading team next year, but i've never been pn cheerleading..what do i do?

I have a couple friends that never cheered and now they're on the squad. Don't worry about it though & just relax. If you really want to cheer, commit to it and you'll do fine. Have a positive attitude no matter what and just try your hardest. You'll learn everything and you'll be able to do it. Think of it as a fun expiriance and you'll make a lot of new friends.

First you need to figure out what you want. It's normal to lose feelings towards someone and not feel as strong about them but don't feel bad about it. Take a break from your boyfriend. Maybe it would be the best thing for you two because it could give you the oppritunity to figure out what you really want to do. You can't just continue doing this though. It might hurt your boyfriend and I don't think that you really want to do that. Just take some time and figure this out because you do anything. None of us can help you because this is really your own decison. Good luck though. ;]

Well.. why do you want to move on? Just because he knows that you like him? I know that it might be akward now that he knows, but you can't make yourself get over him. It just won't work. Just talk to him and act like as if he didn't know. Be flirty and outgoing and you never know, he might actually start liking you too. If you want to get over him, meet other guys. Like I said though, don't rush yourself. It'll hurt you and you'll just feel like crap because you really like him. Give it time. Don't be embarassed that he knows. I know that you feel weird about it, but don't him that you're uncomftrable with the situation. My point is, don't make yourself get over someone.

for xmas, i really want my ipod to get a new batery. i have a mini and its kind of old but i love it and i cant get the songs back if i lost my ipod cause i barrowed all the cds from my friend. and my sister told me to just ask for a new one, but i dont like the new ones or the old nanos. should i just get a new batery cause my batery works for about 40 minutes tops. and how can i save all my songs to my computer so i can just open them up again?

You could just get a new iPod but I know you don't want to. I asked a question like this before on how to keep the songs, and I got 3 responses. Sorry I'm not much help, but I honestly don't know.

If you want to get your friends something cute & not expensive, go to Walmart. You can get a set of body sprays and lotions for like $10 and other cute stuff. Couple years ago I bought something like that and my friends liked it. No one really cares if it's from Walmart. I don't know if that really matters to you?

My best friend's birthday in on December 16th. I would like to get her something very special because she almost died this year in a horrible drinking accident, they gave her 35minutes to live. Her life has been dimished to mearly nothing but me, so I want to get her something really great like a nice necklace engraved with her initails. Do you have any other ideas?

Personally, I like your idea. I would write something little and more meaningful on the necklace [ or ] bracelt. It would be really nice & thoughtful of you & she will love it.

im in a secret santa thing for x-mas and i got a guy who i really dont know or get along with mind you but w/e...what should i get him...budget is 10$ btw...

Get him something simple. You don't really know him or anything so just eather make or buy a card and put $10 dollars in it or maybe a gift card. You can't really get anything else but that's what I would do. You could try and find out what he likes and what he's into. Maybe you could make him a CD?
