for xmas, i really want my ipod to get a new batery. i have a mini and its kind of old but i love it and i cant get the songs back if i lost my ipod cause i barrowed all the cds from my friend. and my sister told me to just ask for a new one, but i dont like the new ones or the old nanos. should i just get a new batery cause my batery works for about 40 minutes tops. and how can i save all my songs to my computer so i can just open them up again?

You could just get a new iPod but I know you don't want to. I asked a question like this before on how to keep the songs, and I got 3 responses. Sorry I'm not much help, but I honestly don't know.
