heya im going to be a freshmen this year so its my first time in a public school. i was wondering if most people use backpacks or binders or w.e cause i heard that most people dont and i dont want to look outta place.. any comments would be helpfull and i rate well

if you do go with a backpack, try a messengar bag. Its a certain style you can look up online, and Im sure once you see one you'll recognize it. With that you'll fit right in. Also, dont be afraid to see how your friends are doing it. Cause the thing is each school is a bit different so i cant give you advice word for word but I hope you do well. XoXo babe! Muahh
okay so there is this boy that ive liked for a long time... but yea c hes a mayjor playa and everytime i hook up wit him or w/e he always plays me over but his charm is sooo good and cute that i fall for him no matter wut! how can i just forget about him! and erase him from my life cuz i knoe that the next time i talk to him hes gonna b all flirty and touchy feely to me and then i'll fall for him all over again. please help me get over him.
be strict and make him keep his hands to himself. If you know he cant do that and be respectful, then remove yourself from an environment that includes his presence. Because the thing with that is you need him to stop flirting and being all around you b/c thats the worst thing for you. Stop seeing him or going places where he is. If you happen to be at the same party, avoid him. If he comes over to you just kinda walk away. You dont need him plus hes really just not good for you. good luck babe-- hope you can get rid of the creep.

What are some good fashions for back to school?
Sweater vests over blouses are really in style. If you are interested in that, go to old navy. Those are fun because you can mix and match. Also, tweed jackets are really cute and ones with pink in them are soooo adorable. Pink and silver or pink and grey are popular together. Just find out whats you. I'm a female who is 15 years old. I'm going to be a sophomore in high school starting September. My question is, I can not seem to ever find a guy that is worth my time. Don't get me wrong, I'm on pom squad, I'm not a geek or anything. I just can't seem to find a steady boyfriend. I usually date older guys but I'm trying to find someone more my age. Any ideas on how to become more approachable to guys?
Boyfriends are unimportant. They really are. Be your friendly self and let love come to you, if you go looking for it you'll be getting desperate without realizing. Just patiently wait. In the mean time, try just being close friends with guys, friendships help so much... you seem pretty approachable, but if you dont feel like that, theres nothing wrong with a 'hi' when your meeting someone ... or whatever. good luck.. i really hope you find what your looking for
Okay me and me sis have started a band yet we dont own any instrument or know how to play. But i can feel it in my soul that im am destined to be great.i need to work up 170 dollars by next month or my guitar that is the cheapest one i could find will be sold. any suggestions to make money. i will try to rate you .

If you guys dont know how to play anything yet your band hasnt really started, learning enough to have a band might take some time. But anyway rather than raising so much money, look on ebay.com for some really cheap guitars that are in nice condition, hey you might wind up with a guitar for only 10$$ haha. No joke. My group of friends theres 3 of us and well my one friend (Alyssa) hangs out with both me and my other friend (Chanel).
Alyssa always talks about how she doesnt like Chanel, about shes boring and stuff to me but yet she always invites her over to her house (more than I have ever gone there and they have sleepovers together more than she ever has done with me.)
I don't even think Chanel likes me because she never talks to me always trys to keep Alyssa away from me by trying to convice her about things and never invites me over to her house, etc.
My problem is I don't think Alyssa is telling the truth about how she doesn't like Chanel and how do I confront her about it? And how can I know for sure if Chanel even likes me at all?
(I asked a simular question yestuday and got some great answers and I hope I get even more)

None of them sound nice. Ok even if Alyssa really does like Chanel, the fact she would lie to you about anything is lame. And if Chanel calls herself your friend or acts like it in front of everyone but never talks to you and whatever else, shes just as mean. They both sound pretty fake and its time you've moved on. Gaining new friends might not be the easiest thing but it will pull you out of alot of hurt in the future. These people dont sound like they'd even be nice to you. Be civil and calm but explain how you feel to the both of them(individually so that alyssa wont be denying what she said about chanel,and so theres no 2 against 1), just say you think its time to move on. Make it a simple as that.
Can too many fruits a day be bad for you. I am always finding myself picking up an orange and eating it as a snack. I end up eating about twice as many as ur supposed to. lyk 8-10 a day.
I dont suppose you could be sick or anything but you need balanced nutrients every day. A little fat is good for you but that doesnt mean you have to eat the greasiest most fattening thing in the fridge. Try eating some protein, a little bit of fats, just balance it out .
How do you get parents to be less strict?! i rate high! =)
the truth is you really cant. But the thing you can do is gain respect. Offer to do more chores than you usually do, go out of your way to help them. They'll lighten up and just feel a little more comfortable with you having more privelages. You can also sit down and rationally ask for the things that you want, (like whatever leighway your looking for) but yelling or fighting or whining wont help. So be calm. Keep it cool. Other than that parents will be parents. But its always worth the try!

what is a good way to get your mind off boys and concentrate more on school work?
well rather than hanging with the guys all day or whatever do homework. And if your getting too easily distracted then maybe you should try talking to your parents about focusing. Go to the library too, its a quiet atmosphere and its really easy to think there. When you get stuck, there are librarians and books to reference to that you dont always have there at home. well dont get with anyone thats a known advantage taker. He needs to be sweet and sensitive. No one thats too proud of themselves.. look comes last of all but really dont matter .
i'm 13 and i want to find a job to raise money. is there any places i can work at? i rate realli high! but there is one problem..i love babysitting..but there isn't many people i know with younger kids. so besides babysitting..what else?
Try mowing lawns. You can hang up signs and put it this way, where there are houses, there are lawns. So slip signs in peoples mailboxes or hang some up and stuff. Only thing is you have to be careful and make sure you know what you are doing. Other than that if you dont have working papers im not really sure what else you can do. Best wishes for ya sweets

I dont kno where to put this under so i put it under health...anyways okay i was just wondering usually does anyone kno how long will or does it take for your bellybutton to grow out until you have to take it out? i have been reading some of the questions and i was just curious cuz it looks like it's smaller but then again when i first got it done it was bigger then now but usually it swells when you get it done. btw i got mine done a year ago. thanks!

Well, just be yourself. Dont try being something your not because you'll rub off all wierd. Dont come on too strong but be friendly and just keep talking to people. Maybe your roomate can help you meet some people, which means be really nice to your roomate! Hehe. Definetly do not use their stuff without permission... and just chat with people in your class before or after class starts. good luck... you should do fine.

get rid of the person thats pressuring you and stop talking to them or hanging out with them. You dont need them and theyre obviously not good for you. reancarnation is bogus. Im not trying to be harsh or righteous but I do know what Im talking about. Is your friend hindu? If not even the hindus believe that she wouldnt go through reancarnation or whatever. But anyhow, I am terribly sorry to hear about your loss. It must be terrible to loose a good friend. I can recommend a good book thats never failed me, The Bible. You may seem hesitant but if you give it just a little chance see what it has to say about what happens after you die. Im sure you'll figure your questions out, and maybe you can find some comfort for your own self. I really hope you do give it a try because I know that since I was saved it has drastically transformed my life... i really hope you find what it is that your heart really seeks. Please let me know what happens... i am praying for you and your loss and I really care for your situation.

I had a really crappy year in the 8th grade. I was harassed a lot, turned down by 2 guys I really liked, got straight C's, & lost a bunch of my friends. I also was accused of spreading a bunch of rumors! It sucked.
I'm really afraid to go back to school though in September. There's this group of girls who are all so mean to me for no particular reason! They constantly put me down & accuse me of spreading rumors. Towards the end of the school year, there was this rumor going around, saying that I said that some chick was cheating on her boyfriend. I never even TALKED to this girl, so I don't know why I was accused of spreading a rumor. That rumor pretty much damaged my social life & school life. I wound up getting hated on by a lot of my old friends & getting harassed by people I've never spoken to!
I'm doing better now, because I have better friends now & I'm a lot more selfconfident. I'm really afraid to go back to school, though. What should I do if anyone gives me crap again?
School can be crappy. Life can suck. But its no reason to hide under the covers. Get your butt out of bed everyday knowing its a brand new day and it can go good or bad depending on how you act. Its a new year and a clean slate. If anyone accuses you of rumors be like i havent seen any of you the whole summer, i have no clue whats going on in your lives therefore i couldnt spread rumors. I know its the hardest thing to do, but you really need to ignore most of what people say. If they yell at you ignore it. Talk to your friends when they talk to you act like they dont exist. When your laughing and having a fun time with your friends they'll see your unreachable and unharmable. As far as grades ... get a tutor, or spend extra time studying. Try hitting the library and doing some work there, its quiet and you can always get help from a librarian. Good luck... you should do fine this year... and you dont need those idiots who bother you, just ignore the hell out of them. good luck sweeets

School is starting soon and that means yearbook pictures! im so nervous mine is gonna look bad...is there any way to like practice to make sure u look good or what?
well put it this way.. on picture day get up Xtra early and do your hair in an easy to fix style, be sure to look in front of the mirror before you go up and take pictures. I guess the other pictures you really cant plan for but if you see a camera going around during the day, make sure your hairs lookin extra nice. Keep some hairspray and a brush in your locker so you can plan ahead for these things.
