Groups
My group of friends theres 3 of us and well my one friend (Alyssa) hangs out with both me and my other friend (Chanel).
Alyssa always talks about how she doesnt like Chanel, about shes boring and stuff to me but yet she always invites her over to her house (more than I have ever gone there and they have sleepovers together more than she ever has done with me.)
I don't even think Chanel likes me because she never talks to me always trys to keep Alyssa away from me by trying to convice her about things and never invites me over to her house, etc.
My problem is I don't think Alyssa is telling the truth about how she doesn't like Chanel and how do I confront her about it? And how can I know for sure if Chanel even likes me at all?
(I asked a simular question yestuday and got some great answers and I hope I get even more)

And once again... confrontation. I hate confronting people, but I think you should just be like "Alyssa... if you say you don't like Chanel, then why do you always invite her to your house all the time? I'm just wondering." It's a straight forward question. Easy as that. And to find out if Chanel even likes you at all... ask Alyssa if she ever says anything about you. But I think the best way would be to hear it from Chanel herself. Whenever you DO get to talk to her confront her with.. "Not trying to be rude, Chanel, but it just seems that you don't like me much. forget them both! dont waste your time. Alyssa says stuff behind Chanels back when shes with you. Seriously sweetie they are using you for when they are either annoyed of eachother or mad at eachother. I know you think they are your friends but true friends dont do this. I had the same thing when i was in 5th grade. You gotta try and accept it. Show them you can live without them.. im sure when they know your not around they may come around and actually BE YOUR FRIEND. dont let them have control over you! I really hope i helped!

None of them sound nice. Ok even if Alyssa really does like Chanel, the fact she would lie to you about anything is lame. And if Chanel calls herself your friend or acts like it in front of everyone but never talks to you and whatever else, shes just as mean. They both sound pretty fake and its time you've moved on. Gaining new friends might not be the easiest thing but it will pull you out of alot of hurt in the future. These people dont sound like they'd even be nice to you. Be civil and calm but explain how you feel to the both of them(individually so that alyssa wont be denying what she said about chanel,and so theres no 2 against 1), just say you think its time to move on. Make it a simple as that.

I would answer it like how u said it next time she tells u how she hates Chaneljust say then y do u keep inviteing her over...................................................and about how she trys to keep chanel away from u and dosent invite u over it is because she is scared that u might tell Chanel........................................................... Or u can tell Chanel and that might cause Chanel to talk to alyssa.
