School is starting soon and that means yearbook pictures! im so nervous mine is gonna look bad...is there any way to like practice to make sure u look good or what?
JustAskAlli answered Saturday August 14 2004, 5:55 pm: You dont have to really practice for your yearbook picture. But sometimes what i do is just practice my smiling. Its nothing you should be uptight or worried about. Hope it helped - J.A.A =) [ JustAskAlli's advice column | Ask JustAskAlli A Question ]
AquamarineRose answered Saturday August 14 2004, 4:28 pm: Ahhh...... the dreaded picture day.I'll be honest with you.I am not photogenic. But surprisingly enough my last year's picture didn't turn out too bad.Don't practice in front of the mirror though. To much wasted time. And you'll just look fake. So just smile naturaly when you are siting in the "picture chair".As for hair, make up, and outfit.(I am assuming you are a girl.)Hair-Don't pull it up! 99% of girls that wear their hair up look odd in their pictues.(It's a known fact.)Make up-Don't over do it.Meaning you don't have to look like a Las Vegas show girl just because it's picture day.Outfit-Solid colorered tops usually work the best.Little pictures of things or words on your shirt is not becoming.Because it is normally cut off.And remeber not to clash with your background! Maura answered Saturday August 14 2004, 4:12 pm: Practice doing your hair and make-up with what you are wearing before hand. Bring a small hand mirror and a comb to school. (Plus make-up if you have it late in the day for a touch-up.) Smile NATURALLY. If you force a smile youll look odd.
Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday August 14 2004, 10:38 am: well put it this way.. on picture day get up Xtra early and do your hair in an easy to fix style, be sure to look in front of the mirror before you go up and take pictures. I guess the other pictures you really cant plan for but if you see a camera going around during the day, make sure your hairs lookin extra nice. Keep some hairspray and a brush in your locker so you can plan ahead for these things.

xo_Meg_ox answered Saturday August 14 2004, 12:12 am: i always look in a mirror to decide which way i want my hair - like tucked behind my ears or behind my shoulders, etc.... you can also practice your smile, but you also want it to look natural! and practice putting on your make up so that you kno exactly how you want it to be [ xo_Meg_ox's advice column | Ask xo_Meg_ox A Question ]
