Hi my name is Lee Ann. I am 29 years old and Graduated from Bethany college obtaining a bachelors of music. I am a happily married woman with two kids, ages3 and 2. I currently have six books out on the market, all of which can be found on amazon. The first is called The Leaf: One fallen heart and a burning desire, my second is called Avengement of Glory, my third is called Spiral of Enlightenment, fourth one is called Prodigy of the Immortal, fifth one is called Augment in the Realm of Darkness, and my sixth novel is called Bond in the Spiritual Heart. I started this advice column to see if I could give good advice. Turns out I am pretty good, better than I thought actually. I enjoy seeing people smile when I give them good advice and they use it. It makes me feel better as a person to help people. I want to make the world a better place and I think that starting an advice column is the right way to begin. Writing is a huge part of my life, without it, I wouldn't be able to function properly. After seven years, I think I have done pretty well as an advice columnist.

ok so this summer totally changed me. i got my first b/f and i met a lot of new people who are really great. before now i was "quiet" to most people in school, except my friends, and now i'm sooo different! everbody expects me to still be the quiet girl, but i'm not that way anymore. how do i show them i've changed??

The best thing for this type of situation is to ask them to hang out and dont be quiet start talking and be part of the group. Also you could flirt more oh but you have a boyfriend. Be more outgoing and tell them that you are not the shy little one in school. If you participate in class it will show that you are not afraid to speak up.

Okay so this kid pretty much took my virginity last year-ish, and we dated for a couple weeks. Since then we've hooked up multiple times, causing him to cheat on his girlfriends at the time, nobody ever found out. Then last summer his girlfriend found out and they stayed together etc, and everything was resolved and they broke up for a while and him and I hooked up. So basically they're back together because he took her virginity too, but I'm the only girl he's ever cheated on her with, and it's not like I'm sprung off him or anything, I don't really even like him like that anymore, we're just friends as far as I'm concerned and we tend to mutally hook up occasionally. So the other day at this thing for school I was having a bad day, and he let me cry on his shoulder and stuff, then we went off to "talk" somewhere and he started kissing me and stuff, I feel really really bad about it for some reason and he's really giving me mixed signals. Is he interested in me again, has he never lost feelings or did he just want a hookup?

Sometimes you cant really tell what guys want. Its seems like he wants to just hook up for his own personal pleasure. If wanted more than that wouldnt he be with you not his other g/f you seem like like the better person but i think you should be with someone that you like alot. If you felt guilty then that means you didnt feel comfortable this time knowing that he had a g/f because you were caught. Before you did it b/c you knew you wouldnt get caught but now your unconscious feels like if you do it you will get caught again. I am not being rude or snobby if that is the way it sounds.

I have questions about Congenital heart defects
Like how does it affects a child physically and mentally? And how is detected?

An echocardiagram can accurately detect many heart defects. This test needs to be performed by a specialized doctor and not an obstetrician. Some heart defects can be detected through routine ultrasound. Some things that could affect someone with it would be they couldnt do the things that other kids could do. A doctor would tell you exactly what they could do if they determine the type of genital heart defect.

How do i start well when i first started school there was this guy and i liked him when i first saw him. I looked for him on my first day of school and i wished i could see him again anyway as time went on he got my number contacted me and he even took me home. He asked me if he could kiss me and i think i kinda just hugged him because to be honest i get really scared of that sort of thing i think ohh what if i do it all wrong and he does not like me afterwards. Now A few days went by and he asked me out i gave him an excuse that i was not allowed a bf his name was james. I said that to him because another boy told me he liked me and i thought it would be horrible to say yes to one and no to another. So lets call the other one Jack.. Jack asked me out three times and i said no. My friend told me yesterday Jack does not like you anymore hes gone off you. I that if you just relax and not get nervous and not think about him kissing you. If you dont worry then you will fine. Once he kisses you you will be so happy and want him to do it again. The best thing is to conquer you fears.

My friend played a joke on me and I know she was kidding..but I took it too seriously.I yelled at her in class..and then she was trying to talk to me after school but I ignored her and got in my car..I feel so horrible but I'm still mad..What should I do?

I think that she knows that you are mad and it will take some time for you to get over it. Just be like i am sorry that i blew up even though you should have and tell her that she shouldnt do that to you again. Ask her politely not to play jokes on you. And if she would have done it to someone else would you have laughed or said tghe same thing. Its diff. when the joke is on you but if it is on someone else people think it is funny but there is nothing wrong with that. Or you could call her and just talk to her about it like two people having a normal conversation

oaky i have a RLY bad sweating problem! At school i sweat like heck and i cant help it! by the end of the day i have HUGE oit stains! Ive tried many different deoderants....first i started out with avon and then i tried secret (( the strong and invisable kind)) and now im using avon sport...none of them will work!!! please help me! what is a very strong deoderant???

I had the same problem but when i started using dove it really helps and you dont seat at all. It really works it may smell like baby powder but you dont seat because the ingredients in it help absorb sweat.

okay well i was going to ask this boy out on the computer...i RLY like him and ppl say he rly likes me and it looks like it because all he does is flirt with me and only me but when i ask someone to ask him if he likes me...he'll say no! the other day i asked my friend chelsey at my other friends party to tell him he should go out with me and he said no!!! and then on the computer a few weeks ago chelsey asked him if he would ever go out with me and he said he didnt know...now is he just doing this because he doesnt want to admit that he'll like me? i rly like him and EVERYONE says he likes me and some of his friends even told me he said he liked me but why is he doing this if he does!? should i just ask him out and get on with my life if he doesnt!? please help...ill rate 5's for any advice unless its mean

I think that he likes you. If you ask him oput you willl finally know whether or not he likes you. If you dont you will just wonder if he likes you or not and it will eventually drive you crazy lol. I think that he is afraid to tell you because he is afraid of that if you dont like him then he will be upset. The best thing is to take a chance.

Actually you are right you are never to old. I am going and i am 18 but do not look like it. My brother is 21 and he is going lol. So you shouldnt worry about i mean it is free candy!

okay...this may seem strange but it feels like all my friends are turning on me...I had my 13th birthday party on sunday and invited 20 of my clostest firends to my house and well sunday came and only 12 showed up...these ppl i know have to be my rly clostest firends but here are the reasons for why most of them couldnt come

They are not your friends. Friends dont do that. Those 12 people are your true friends. I think that if you act like you dont care then they will get angry and apoloigize to you if necessary ignore them for a little while until they get the hint.

okay well like my friend (lets call her Kelly), well i though kelly was my best friend, and she was for a few years, but she knew other people in this other town and started hanging out there ALL the time and met this girl (lets call her linda) and linda and kelly became like BEST FRIENDS .. and now kelly barely like wants to hang out with me and like when i ask kelly to hang out she avoids the subject and then a day later i find out she avoided the subject cuz she already had plans with linda.
but sometimes i ask her to hang out first before she has any plans but then linda asks her to hang out AFTER i asked her and she said to me .. "sorry i cant go" and she hung out wit linda.
and now i have no plans for halloween this year cuz i got in a fight with my other bestfriend and now kelly is spending halloween with linda.
no one cares about my feelings and people push me around and i have no confidence and i cant really stand up for myself so i just kinda let people walk all over me.

I dont think that she is your best friend. Best friends do not treat you like that at all. The best way is to find another best friend. You need to go out on halloween alone but if you want to show her that you dont care go with your plans alone. If you show that you dont care she will come back. She is trying to get you to feel like you need her but if you meet like a boy or a new person to be your friend then you dont need. Either way you dont need her.

Monday in school we are aloud to only dress up as a super hero and a super hero only. Okay? Well I decided that I wanted to be Catwomen... The only problem is that I'm not sure if its a Superhero? Could someone tell me if Catwomen is good or bad/super hero or villian? In the movie batman she was a villian but at the end of the movie she turned into a good person. But the movie catwoman she was a superhero.

my boyfriend had a scare about his testicles and found out from test results that he's fine, he has now got it in his head that there's something wrong with every part of his body he thinks he's got cancer and tests have proved he hasn't he keeps asking me if he's fine and has done for the past 4 weeks i love him so much and feel as though it's wrecking our relationship. he's never had a longterm relationship this is his first. what can i do to help him get it out his head? i'm trying to stay strong for him but it's stressful for me especially as we have a 10month old baby please help

I know it is hard to have a relationship with someone who has a phobia about having something wrong with them. I dont think there is a way to stop it but maybe if you kept him occupied so he didnt think about it. Take him out or have him hang out with some friends more oftewn. If he continues to think this way and his kid hears hikm that child is seriously going to think that something is wrong with him. If you support him and continue to tell he is fine then he will eventually believe it himself. If someone loves you and you love them then they would trust you know matter what right? Tell him to trust you as your g/f and as the mother of his child.

Ok, I love animals. Right now I have 2 dogs, one outside and one inside. We also sort of have a cat, but really it just eats our cat food. Haha..anyway..I want to get a cat. Yesterday I went to the SPCA for a science fair project, and I just fell in love with this little white kitten. It is 80 dollars and I have the money, but the problem is my dad. Everyone else in the family is OK. I just need some things I could say to my dad to convince him! Thank you!

Cats are much cleaner than dogs and they go in their litter and if you agree to take care the cat yourself then maybe he will agree. They dont chew anything up like shoes like dogs and they hardly make any noise. If you tell it is something you really want and it would make you happy if you got then he should say it is ok.

Actually making out is something that kind of happends. All you do is like kiss with out a break you know. With your hands they can go anywhere most people would say that you go with the flow. You put your hands where you feel comfortable. On e hand could go around his neck and the other one could go on his side and his usually does the same thing. When you start making out you will feel where your hands should go.

hey i have quite a big ass but i go in at the waist quite a bit then at the top im like not big but not small, c to be exact but like i have huge love handles and whenever i wear like baggy jeans or joggers even if there was falling down is still like look like i was over hang :S!!! i dont get it, is there any exacises or like a certain food im eating thats coursing it, or could it just be my big trunk? x x x

Actually alot of guys are atrracted top J lo butts and i didnt believe at first but then it is true but the best thing is to walk or drink lots of water. I have a J Lo butt and thats what i do is just walk alot and drink lots of water and it will get smaller if you want it to. Mine has gotten smaller.

i have a group of good friends. this is the 3rd time that me and my friend were left out of a sleepover. we havent been invited to one. we seem to all be very close but it puzzles me how its the same girls having sleepovers while me and her are left out. is this shady to you? what should we do? is this messed up..am i overreacting..should we just accept that somee people in the 'crew' will be closer to some than others? any feedback and/or personal experiences is appreciated

I think that maybe you should have a sleepover and invite them and then ask them why they dont invite you guys to trheir house. Some parents only let them have a certain amount of people at their house but if you have a sleepover then you will be able to show them that you guys are worth being invited too.

For school were only aloud to dress up as super heros(its this red ribbion week thing its hard to explain) wel does anyone have an idea for a girl like me to be? You could be batwoman or even that one super hero that look like the american flag she was red white and blue. Or even catwoman thats a good costume alot of people are doing that. Also that lady from fantastic 4 invisible woman thouh i dont know how you would do that. For catwoman you could wear all black. She had a leather style going but anything black would do. Batwoman wore all black and you could drwn the symbol of the bat and put it on your chest.

ive lived with my grandparents for 13 years and just a few months ago i moved in with my mom and her boyfriend. i REALLY miss living with my grandparents and i feel like my moms trying to take me away from them. sometimes ill ask my mom if i can stay the night with my grandparents and she says no. we fight and argue every single night and im so sick and tired of it. i cry myself to sleep everynight because of her and her boyfriend. her b/f is so rude to me too. i try to talk to her about this but every time i try we get in another argument. i talk to my grandparents about it and they undersatnd but they dont know what to do. i just cant stand living with my mom and her boyfriend. if anyone can tell me what i can do besides talk to my mom please help me.

I know what that is like but you always have a choice in who you want to live with. If you grandparents fight for you in court then your grandparnets can get full custody of both of you. You can testify and say who you want to live with. Even though your not 18 they will still listen to what you have to say. I was five when my parents got divorced and they asked me and they based the decision on hat me and my older brother said. I know that it is hard to talk to your mother without getting into a fight but maybe you tryed to talk to her but if she starts yelling tell her you dont want to fight. But the best solution is court.

what if your boyfriend does not know your kissing his best friend and me and his friend act wierd around him

Well if you going out with the guy why are you kissing his best friend. If he would have known he would have problem either dumped you or killed his friend. I know that i wanted to when i saw my best friend kissing my boyfriend in my house. I am not being smart or being rude if that is how it sounds but if you liek this guy you wouldnt be doing this maybe you should go out with his friend instead.

Ok so I have a crush on this girl who ive been flirting with to much. and right now i believe shes tryin to ignor and avoid me. Like I was at a dance today and I was walking up to her to say hi and that she did a good job when she was cheerleading at the west gym {she is not a snot , i put this in here because some peeps might thiunk cheerleaders are snots}, and she ran off to the dark center of the gym. Ok the best thing is to talk to her. Mayeb you should let her have some space for just a day or two. Maybe something in her home life happened and she didnt really want to talk anyone especially someone who sounds like they like. She may like you so much that she cant tell you. Suicide is definitely ot the answer. If you are dead then how are going to know what kind of life you will have especially if tat means it will be with her? I know something serious happens in my family i cant talk to anyone but the people i am not close to at all or the ones i dont like very much. It hurts to much to talk to the ones i am closest to. Maybe if you wrote her a note or ask her friends what is going on or have one of your friends do it.
