My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time
I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that
and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes
especially with parent child relationships
I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age
and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)
My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

To start off, I guess I should tell you I'm 15 years old. My mom is VERY religious. She goes to church every chance she gets. She is one of the strongest believers God and the bible that I have ever met. I, on the other hand, am confused about all of this. My beliefs in God, the bible, heaven, hell are slim. I've lost alot of faith. It's my age, I guess.. I'm to the point where I need proof and evidence of everything. I can't believe in something over what a book says. I need evidence from scientists. From what I know, there has been no proff of the Bible Days. So my question is this.. How could I tell my mom that I don't believe and that I don't want to go to church every sunday anymore? I NEED to tell her, this is important. But I KNOW that it would COMPLETELY crush her if she ever knew. How could I break the news to her? PLEASE HELP! I rate 10's just for trying. But please give me good, honest answers.

i have the same fealing as you.. no matter how hard i try without proof i just cant believe
what i would do is first break it to your mom but make a debate but dont tell her you dont want to go to church... dont crush her all at once
just be like how do i know god is true.. if nothing else she can get you to believe or something again.
just whatever you do try to make yourself believe... dont distance yourself from your church and your faith even if you dont believe everything you can still get something out of it and have a sense of family
so, a random question bout sex. i was just wondering, since statistics show that the average teen loses their virginity by the age of 17. well.. is it possible to have sex (when the guy uses a condom) and NOT get pregnant? cuz like, other teens have done it and they havent got pregnant riight? but what im scared of is that my sister had an unplanned pregnancy and she already had a baby. she said she used a condom and i guessed it broke.

is it common for a condom to break?

there is always a possiblity unless either you are infertile (or he is) or you havent had your first period yet and it wasnt supose to (no way of telling this)
Well, I'm having a celeb-themed party soon where you have to dress up as a celebrity, i'm really looking forward to it, but i need to gets something that looks like a red carpet, wont rip when people walk over it and isn't too expensive. I'm really not sure what I could use though. Does anyone have any ideas?
i would say see if you can find old xmas stuff at a craft store or around the house.. like we have felt that goes under our tree that would work, is very cheap and shouldnt rip. also you can try getting fabrib then like a clear thick cover over top and put glitter on it to make it look fancy? if worse comes to worse spray paint a table cloth

yes and no... i would say that is more of the style for either people who are depressed or mainly think they are cool by doing things that arent (like drugs).. as long as you trust her i would say shes okay because she is only 13 and still figuring out who she is.. trust me my sister is going to be 13 next month and going through the same thing.. just watch her behavior and her friends and make sure shes not doing anything she shouldnt because confronting her would just make her more mad. if your worried i would talk to her teachers to make sure everything is okay at school before you take any action... if you need more advice about teenagers just drop on in my box... i swear i can tell you almost anything
I want to get my haircut and colored like nicole richie. But I had medium length hair and i dont want it to be as short as hers. Like maybe just a little trim. I just want her layers and bags.

i would say they are anywhere from $10 TO $10 at pet stores.. and if you look in your local papaer you can prob find one with all the supplies for $25 or so. with the cage and everything i would say its close to $50 and up

yes its totally normal.. most people start anywhere from 5th grade to like 8th grade and dont have problems! and its normal for it not to be regular for the first 3-4 years or so. i mean i got mine in 7th grade and im in 10th grade now and not reg and my doctor said that was fine!

at first i would say use it once a day till you know your skin is okay with it but if your not seeing results use it twice... they only reason i say if your not seeing results is because its very expensive and if you can get away with using it once a day i would do that but if not use it twice!

well im guessing your black and i am not so i may not be able to help you but i use a helen of troy it was $30 and i swear its amazing. it leaves my hair pefectly straight for over 12 hours will not even a frizz and i love it!

My problem is (If this is a problem)I Have no pubic hair on my armpits and around vagina. My skin there is just like 8 year old girl. I started my periods one & a half year back. Is this a big problem. What may be the reason? I am worried about any future disease. Please advice?
accually you should be happy! although i would say its slightly unnormal you should be happy! you dont have to worry about shaving or as much bo or anything! if it truelly bothers you i would say talk to a doctor but right now its no problem at all!

im 16/m. i'm pretty skinny, 155-160 and 5'11-6'0. the past three days ive been feeling sick after every meal. all year long ive been having 2 bagles and apple juice for breakfast. that usually lasts until 6th period, where i have another 40 minutes until lunch time, then im hungry. ive noticed that when i get to lunch, im not hungry. in fact i feel full or that i ate not too long ago. i eat breakfast at 7.40 btw. so i decided to get the foods i usually get, but neither yesterday or today i was able to finish it, and when i tried to i felt sick afterwards for another hour. this happens after dinner too, when usually im starving by dinner time, have eaten less than usual, but feel too full to even finish. is something wrong with me? what should i do? i asked my friend about it and he said it could be just acid buildup in my stomach. if thats the case, is there something i can take for that or no? thanks.
maybe your sick? during this time of year that happens to alot of people. what i would say is eat something other than bagles for breakfast like cereal than have a nother small snack in the middle of the day but not too big so your not full (like eat 4th period) then eat your normal dinner.. just try to eat things that are easier to keep down (like pasta over meat) to keep you from getting sick till you feel better

i would say try abercrombie kids.. they fit my friend very week who i know is the same weight as you and she is around your height, maybe an inch or two taller at most! also hollister jeans run kinda small and if you can find a size 00 short or 0 short they should fit you perfect. some of their jeans are even small on my sister and shes 100 pounds but shes really tall and shes the skinniest person ive ever seen (literally) i know what you mean when you have trouble finding jeans that fit because i guess everyone here has gone through that sometime or another.. if you can try to get to a jean outlet where they have tons of jeans in tons of sizes so you can look around and try on alot!

okay is it true that your boobs can become deformed if youre wearing a bra cup size too small..? cuz mine tend to hurt after a while and i think my bras getting a little small.. cuz im like right between an a and b.. and its really difficult to find a nice bra.
it would take years and you would never be able to take it off so i doubt its happening to you.
get a playtex one! they make inbetween sizes like almost B. or change your band size for a better fit!
