does anyone know a good way to get your jumps better in cheerleading? i practice everyday and nothing seems to be working. help!

I used to be a cheerleader and I know that flexiblity REALLY helps your jumps! Make sure you stretch good before you practice and keep working on getting more and more flexible. We never used a trampoline in cheer but we do in dance for our leaps and I know it really helps! Keep practicing! good luck

im 13 yrs old and a gurl i want to know a good FUNNY halloween costume i know its early but i want an original cool costume. but i dont wwant it to cost too much whats to best costume you've ever seen?

you can always be a pimp... but thats done alot. A good one that I liked was Mario and Luigi (however you spell his name!) you can go buy overall's, big disney gloves, mustaches, and hats and stuff. Then dye them red (mario) or green (luigi) I saw it on the real world and LOVED IT! Or one of my friends had a funny idea of dressing up like Rick James!! then whenever someone asked you who you were supposed to be you'd say "I'm rick James, bitch!!" haha ok you might not get that but its from his show on comedy central! haha I dont know, me and my friends can never think of any really good ones so we usually just say funny/stupid ones like Call someone and tell them blah blah blah... it ends up being fun! I downlloaded this Truth or Dare game on my phone and some that they gave me were like "Hula dance" or "do your best impression" yeah theyre dumb and they get old quick but it's the best they had I guess. i want to paint my room black, and then splat paint it with bright pink. i thin kit would look awsome!!it would really reflect my wild, punk personality..im sure it would. but my mom says she will never paint my room black. i get soooooo pissed off!!!! nop matter what i do she always says no. i want the theme to be pink and black no matter what. please tell me what to do or how to get my mom to consider it!!!

Hey umm havce you told your mom how much you really want your room like that? I mean without like really getting mad? Try that and see if she lets you do what you want after. If that doesnt work, maybe she just doesnt want your room to be so dark? Have you thought of doing the opposite with pink walls and black splated on it?? I dont know if youd like that but it's an Idea!

Help guys, I'm scared to go to the club with my friends because I don't know how to dance! Like even when were just jokin aroudn and dancing I won't do it because I don't know how. I don't know how to move my arms, legs, or stomache. I honestly need help!

Just go with the flow of the music... You can look around at all the other people in the club too if you need help. Remember not to be stiff tho! Just move with the music! If your shy and want to like practice at home or something, Ive seen some dance video's you can buy from tv. Or just watch dancing shows to see how people move. You have to be comfortable in the club with the music before you feel comfortable moving with the music. Just be loose and have fun!

HeY!I'm 14 -n- I'm a freshman in highschool -n- I like this boi in my neighborhood who's 16. I've known him since I was 6 but I don't really know much bout him cuz we don't talk alot.I liked him when I ws in the 6th grade but found out he had a g/f. But when they broke-up -n- whenever some1 asked what kinda stuff I like he'd sit in -n- listen . Then when I was in 7th grade I caught him staring at me alot.I wasn't outside much cuz I had a 15 b/f then. Then while I was in the 8th I just started goin' outside more so I could see him -n- he really hadn't been outside in awhile either.Each time we'd hang out in groups -n- find out more bout him then 1 day he wanted to talk to me but I totally chickened out -n- went home then came back outside -n- he still wanted to talk to me I still sat back -n- watch him so he went inside . I found out he was ticked off at me. Then after that I found out from a friend of (the boi i like ) that he talks bout me all the time. I dont really b-lieve it b-cuz most times he'd talk to evryone but me . But then when his other best friend told him how I felt bout him -n- i went ridin past him -n- his friends -n- he got silent looked at me -n- smiled. I really am confused!Can u tell me his feelings for me?

I cant tell you exactly what he's feeling from you cuz your guy is confusing! From a lot of what you've told me, I think that he's sending you a lot of "signals" that he likes you too! Like when he wanted to talk to you. But then you said that he wouldnt talk to you. That either means that he didnt wanna talk to you, or that he DID but he was too shy and got chicken (just like you did when he wanted to talk and you went inside). Maybe he's trying to play hard to get or something? I think you should just go with it normally, like how you are now, and see if he gives anymore signals to whether or not he likes you. And if he wants to talk to you again then try not to chicken out and talk. You guys will probly end up getting closer and you could move from there. Try to get a solid answer out of him to if he likes you or not! cuz he's sending mixed signals! Good Luck!

hey im 13 and i weigh 120 lbs. and im worryed cuz all of my friends weigh alot less then me. like 95-105 lbs.my brother always teases me about it and it makes me feel even fatter.and it really makes me want to get back my "old body". the body i had when i did gymnastics and cheerleader, swiming,and track. now im not really doing ne sports and since its summer im not as active as i was during the skool year. if u no ne ways that i could get back my "old body" it would be helpful.

I know how you feel cuz I feel that way in the summer too. You should try to keep working out... I know its hard in the summer cuz it's so hot and you wanna hang out with friends, but if you want your old body then you'll want to keep working out. Maybe you could get a membership to somewhere like 24 hour fitness with a friend and you both could work out together... I think it'd be fun. And for next summer (cuz i think it's too late in the summer now) I know there are always gymnastic classes and cheer camps that you can sign up for and go to. ALSO in the summer I know that I end up eating more than I should just because Im bored. If this happens to you then try to fight it. But if you can't then just eat fruit instead. Me and my friend have been really close since the 6th grade, and we have always gotten through all of our problems by talking them out. But just recently, since school got out actually, she's been acting different...distant. I tried to talk to her about it, asking her if anything was wrong or if something happened, and she just brushes it away. She won't have a conversation with me and I'm worried she is going to block me out entirly soon. How should I deal with it?

talk to her one on one. Tell her your side of it and make sure to be open-minded of hers also. Try to make her see your side without making her feel like a bad person. Explain why you wanted to talk and that you dont want to ruin your friendship that has lasted so long.

Me, and my friend have been fighting alot. Lets just say her name is ellie, well ellie and me have been best friends since the 3rd grade, so now thats about 4 years of being best friends. but now shes starting to get a little bossy, saying stuff like im getting to comfertable with her family like i dont say thank you enough. that kind of stuff tho i am fine with. but this morning she started to say that i was getting to comfertable again, and saying was acting really bitchy and all i did was i was hangin out with her brother, and her neighbor, but i was leaving her out. one word... JEALOUSY! "Ellie" is jealous because she wants your full attention and instead she is only getting some of it. Your leaving her out sometimes to hang out with others and she wants all of you to herself. Talk to her and tell her that your getting stressed out and see what she says. Hopefully you guys will be able to work things out and stay friends since you have been for so long. Ok so theres a guy I met like last year and I was actually 14 then. I met him when he was down on vacaion. We tried to make it work but it didn't because he never moved down because his dad found a job up there. I still know his AIM/Email. Should I try to contact him? What should I say? Don't be sad! :-) since you have his AIM then talk to him, but dont rush anything. Just get caught up on eachother's lives. Ask him what he's into and stuff like that. Then as a little time goes on, if you feel the same, I think you should give him hints to tell him that u have feelings for him and tell him how you think you guys could do good with the long distance relationship! I think both are "in". I know if I stay with one kind of hair style I always get bored! I have wavy hair that I sometimes let dry natural, and I have a straightner when I want it straight! I think it depends on who the guy is to tell which style they like better... but I do know that hair isnt the OnLy thing they like in girls. :)

Hey, im 5'6" and weigh about 119 lbs. Is that skinny, average, or what? I look more chubbier than people with the SAME height AND weight as me. Also -- ive tried eatting healthy, stop drinking soda, and running, but i cant seem to get rid of my love handles around my sides and lower back. Its so emabrassing AND obvious through my shirts..if you've gotten rid of yours, how did you do it? Thanks

I know sit ups will help alot! If you also do sit ups to the sides it should help with the love handles. Keep working out and eating good and eventually you'll see results!! I'm trying to get rid of my chub in my tummy area and Ive been running, eating better, and doing situps and I saw a difference in like a week!!! Is 9th grade a good grade and does it go by quickly?

Yeah it's a good year but it's also stressful. You have all new classes in an all new school with all new people. You also go from being at the top of your middle school, to the bottom of your high school. Once you get used to the school and meet new people then it gets a lot better!!!! I dont know about your school but with mine getting involved (like a sport or something) really helps! especially since you meet new people! Hope I helped!! plz rate me
