you could do it a different way and it comes out the same. 5x+4y-z=1 + -4x-4y-2z=-2 and you get 1x-3z=-1 now 2x+2y+z=1 + -2x-2y+2z=4 and get 3z=4 then add the two equations you have 1x-3z=-1 + 3z=4 and get 1x=-3 then x=-3 thats a part of it now take x and sub. it into one of the two equations u had 1(-3)-3z=-1 then get z alone -3z=2 z=2/3 second part of answer now plug z and x in to an original equation 3-y+2/3=2 makes -y=-1/3 and y=1/3 and the answer is (-3,2/3,1/3).

okay i did write him a note and it said i liked him but i never did like talk to him at all----then about one week later i started hearing he thought i was weird and all so i wrote another note for apologizing to him for telling him i liked him through a note and he wrote me back saying he was gay and he gave me a number---i didnt believe it you know im blonde but i wasnt born yesterday----but anyways just like friday i was talking to my friend jessica who is one of his best friends sisters and she said that they thought i was scary for it--she didnt know it was me though she thought it was someone else and she was just like i thought it was someone at least semi pretty and i was like thanks and she was like oh it was you i thought it was someone else, no your pretty i wonder why he thought you was scary i seem to like you alot! now im pretty much over him but i dont want his two friends to think im weird because i wanna be friends with them---sorry its so long but yeah---and everyone i asked said it wouldnt have "scared" them---so geez i guess what im saying is what do you think about it?! i mean at least i had the guts to tell him right? what other girl would??? not many thats for sure! thanks =] (link)

My bff and i have always been close, and we still are, were freshmen in High school, and both go to two different skools. We call each other everyday, and c eachother whenever we can! But i can't help think that she likes her new friends better than me. I mean, i made new friends too, theyre real cool and all, but you need your bff, you kno? I'm really troubled here. My best friend, (let say she is) Sara, is dating this guy (lets say he is Mike) that had just recently moved into my neighbor, like he lives two houses down so I usually see him in the morning, going to school. She told me that they were dating because they met through a friend or something but anyways, since we head for the bus in the same direction, we often see each other and usually we have conversations and we go to school together. But now, one of my other friends told me that Sara is mad at me because she saw me and Mike together laughing and walking home. I guess she thinks that I am trying to steal him away but I am not. He just happens to be a really funny person and he makes me laugh most of the time.
One time I was heading home and Mike and Sara came out of the building. Mike called out to me and I turned to look, and Sara kind of turned really angry and hostile. I knew it was awkward so I tried to end the conversation but it didn't really work. And then Sara was acting really possesive as if I was going to steal him away like that. And another time, when we were in this party with a whole big group, she kind of made out with him in front of me I guess to show that she was the actual girlfriend. I just find that really stupid because I am not even trying to steal him away in the first place, why does she have to act like that? I tried to talk to her but she act like she didn't care and she didn't believe me, I told her how ridiculous this was and she shouldn't be mad because nothing is going on between me and Mike.
But things got really bad recently, some stupid person made some rumors that Mike liked me, and it got Sara even more fired up, she came up to me and was calling me names and everything and was saying how I was flirting with Mike and how I was such a slu*, I got really mad and I slapped her, then we had this big fight where we got suspended.
So I'm stuck at home, grounded because of this but I really want to know a solution, I just don't want Sara to hate my anymore, I mean we've been friends for three years, I don't want to lose everything to a guy. But I know Sara, she can be a person who gets jealous really easy and she holds a long grudge. So I'm afraid that things will get even more messy and out of hand, like some big commotion might start at school, can anyone give me any suggestions? I tried to talk to her before, she just wouldn't listen. Can anyone help? (link)

well since your friend "sara" doesn't talk to you then talk to "mike" about whats going on and tell him you would rather him not talk to you and you not talk to him. then maybe he will tell "sara" about whats going on and that will make things better. Hope all goes well!

This always happens to me, and im so bad at dealing with it.
Il be hanging out with a guy and a group of people, and well be flirting a little tiny bit but more just talking as friends. Some teasing but thats all. And then later, all the girls go 1 place and the guys go over another place and one of the guys always ends up texting me to see who i like. And i kno the guy i was hanging out with is reading what im gonna say.
And i cant say i like somebody else, because that would hurt him.
I cant say i like the person, because i do but not enough that i want somthing to happen.
And if i say nobody, they keep bugging me about it.

I'm a very beautiful woman, and I'm intelligent and have a good head on my shoulders. I'm new to the Washington, DC area, and ever since I got here I've been so lonely. I really don't understand why it's so hard for a NICE guy to talk to me and possibly ask me out. Is there something I'M doing wrong? Am I intimidating, or am I just expecting too much? The only advances I get are from rude men that few self-respecting women would be attracted to. And an extremely small amount of men that I find attractive will approach me when I'm out. These men will stare, but they won't speak to me or make an attempt to approach me. Why is this, and, is there anything I can do about it? If anyone could give me tips on how/where to meet men in an environment where they feel comfortable approaching me, I would greatly appreciate it. (Hint: I'm more of a quiet girl who doesn't do bars or clubs). Thanks.

theres nothing wrong with you its just the ones you find attractive are probably shy to and they dont want to approach a girl that they think is out of there league so you should approach them and one good way to find nice guys is go to a library and find one thats attractive there. well have you tried being yourself and not anyone else as in flirting or something. it probably just seems like they're flirting but just talking and telling jokes because they got to be friends not anything more and since you seem to have talked to him before then ask him if he would like to go somewhere. I know that you've heard these questions a million times, but each question is different in a small way.
I'm 15/f and school recently just started for me (freshman in high school... new school for me). It started out about 2 weeks ago when in one of my classes, we were getting quizzes back and I was still waiting for the teacher to call my name. Then I heard the teacher say this guys name. We will call him Blake in this story. So he stood up and went to claim his quiz, and when I looked at him... I was seriously like *whoa* he was so hot and I really like him. He's not like SUPER hot, like who always gets girls attention... but in my world he is hot. So I asked my friend if she knew him and she said yeah, he lives in her neighborhood. He plays hockey and during some days I kept an eye on him, just to see what he is like... and I found that he is really nice and always smiling and joking around. I really want to get to know him more.... I had a chance about 3 days ago because we were correcting papers and we had partners... my friend told me to go up to him and ask him to trade papers, but I got freaked out so i switched with another group. :(
I'm always thinking about him and I really want to get him to make the first move. My mom tells me that it's not appropriate for girls to make the first move, and I should let him start. So I've been a little flirty around him.. like laughing near him, sitting a few feet away from him, staring at him, whispering about him when he's a little far away.... etc.
Is there anything else I can do so that he will make the first move and notice me?
Oh and in class about 5 days ago, we were watching a movie and so there was this boring part and I was just looking at everyone else in the classroom, then I turn to look at blake, and he's looking at me, or at least I think he was. Oh and another time was that he was a few feet away from me and so some guy was talking to the person next to blake, and so I overheard and looked at the 2 guys having the conversation, then I looked at blake and he was looking at me. :) is this a sign? well some guys dont like to make the first move but thats up to you but him starting to look at you is sort of a sign that he is interested just start to small talk with him about what he is like and stuff and then see if you like him because sometimes when we get something we really wanted it wasn't that great but just small talk with him. ok so i've had a crush on this guy for 7 years and i just told him recently how i feel . we talk all the time at least once a day. but the prob. is his best friend whom i have no interest in what so ever has a huge crush on me its to the point of obsession and the guy i like used to date my little sister. he is the same age as me though, he just think it be weird to be with me after dating my sister and i also believe he dont wanna hurt his friend's feelings. up till three days ago i thought we were just friends thats it but then he started say he wanted to " be WITH me" i accidently sent the message to his friend, who says he is just messing with me. but he confroted his frend(my crush) online last nite and i was talking to my crush at the time and he(my crush) said that his friend was asking why he(my crush) was hitting on me . my crush im'd me saying that he could get himself out of trouble with his friend. he told me what he told his friend he said that he was using reverse psychology on me then laugh about it with me. i said twice well he(my crushes friend) dont have anything to worry about its not like u have feelings for me right? and he never responded. o.k. it sounds to me that he has mixed feelings about you since he didnt respond because he likes you but he dated your sister which would feel real weird if i were that guy. so he does like you but he just doesnt no if he wants to date the sister of someone. but go ahead and try it because he cant dislike you because of your sister. I really like this kid. I havent really talked to him a lot. We have 2 classes together, which are gonna change on Monday. So, I dont know if we will have any other classes together.
But yeah,
In PE, we were playing volleyball. When we had to get into the lines, I wanted to stand next to him, on the front row. But, his friend got in between us, so i just went to the back line. Then i looked at him and he looked at me and told his friend he wanted to go on the back line. ( next to me ) Which made me feel grrreeat.
At lunch I can see him sometimes looking over at me. And same goes as with my other class.
But, is that like a sign of him liking me?
All my friends say it is. and that he does like me. and I should go talk to him and whatnot.
I think if i KNEW that he liked me, i could so totaly go over and talk to him.
And, Im also friends with his friend in PE. I talk to him all the time. And the other day i stupidly told him i liked his friend. So he said he was gonna go tell him. and I started to freak out. Cause i dont want him to think im a freak or anything. And i was almost sure that he did tell him, and today the guy i like didnt really look at me or anything. But then when i got to talk to his friend, he said he hasnt told him yet. Which made me a little happier. And that eh would tell him tomorrow.

yes he does like you to leave his guy friend to go to the back of the line for nothing i dont think so you made him do that because he likes you and you shouldnt freak out if you like him and you think he likes you you should let his friend tell him because your not a totally random girl. it doesn't matter if you have a date or not the only difference between that is the slow songs and they don't play a whole lot of those. But homecoming is just music that you can dance to and go nuts. and they don't ask girls to dance unless they like them and don't be lonely theres those two other girls that dont have dates ask them. My boyfriend and I are on a break until next Wednesday so we can get back to the way we used to be and actually get a chance to miss eachother. I usually talk to him before I go to sleep at night and I wake him up every morning.I just can't sleep if I don't talk to him before bed or see him. I cry non stop :(

okay this guy,and i had been friends since last summer of 06. i was dating his bestfriend at the time. & he had a gf of like 2years,which is now 3years. the guy i was dating was my first love,and he done me so wrong. had me on the verge of committing suicide ( i know it was stupid, i'm over that, lol ) but anyay. me & my boyfried broke up after bout 6 months. and his bestfriend, the guy i was secretly in love w/, him & his gf broke up on & off allll the time. me & him were really good friends,we always flirted. and he was like my best guy friend. finally i told him i liked him,and he liked me too. we didn't really even have to sayit bcos we both knew. but we were together like allll summer, and he said he was tired of his gf's bitchin, and all her drama. he would always tell me he was leaving her. and for a while they were broke up. but they got back together,so finally i just out & told him he had to choose, and he said he chose me... i was so in love with him, i would do absolutely anything for him. but after that night he was at my house,and he chos, i hadn't talked to him in like 3 days. come to find out he was w/ his ex. and they were stil together. i wasn't as mad, as i was disappointed in him.. =[ he is really good friends w/ some of my family, so he was at my house one day, and i couldn't even stand to look at him.. it was that bad, he kept saying how he was a bad person & stuff. and i would jus shake my head,and look away, i've cried my heart out over this boy. he was everything to me. even though we never were officially dating. we haven't really talked any. i think the last words i said to him, was that i needed him. i didn't realize how much he meant to me until i lost him. & i jus cannot get over it.. i don't know what to do.. i kno that " it jus takes time " but i had a first love, i kno how it is. and this is 20 times worse. i want to talk to him so bad, but his gf is really obsessive, and his mom wont even let me call his house. i jus want to know what his thinking. i don't know what to dooooooooo , help !! =[ (link)

sometimes the greatest and most treasured thing is what we already have and we don't realize it until we have lost it and if you can try and talk to him at school ask one of your friends to call him or talk to him so that way his mom doesn't know about you secretly talking to him. (14/f 8th grader)Sorry for this being long!Also sorry if this will sound stupid or anything but I've had a crush on this guy since the last days of my 7th grade year.Anyways,lately hes been staring at me or when he makes joke he all ways turns around(or look at me when i turn towards him)he looks striaght at me with a smile.I like the fact that he does that(of course)but I'm not really sure if he likes me.Also,my friend(sorta like a best friend)keeps telling me hes looking at me when hes in the lunch line.She also likes him too,but not as much now cause now she likes another boy shes obsessed with.I do take a peek amd see if he is and HE IS but i'm not sure if its me or something or someone else...Also i caught him 3 times looking at me an a monday.I guess you could sorta say our friend(hes sorta cool to talk to when you'er bored in class) umm...lets call him Kyle.well Kyle had detention the whole day for a offending a photgrapher pretending his hand was like a pistol and trying shoot him(the photographer)and he got detention for friday and monday the whole day.So it was boring the whole 1st period and the frist time I cuaght him was:1-I was looking around the room bored outa my mind and I saw him and he quickly turned around.

Maybe ask him for his jacket if he has one or cuddle up against him for warmth and hug for maximum warmth i know that i don't get cold because i wear shorts like everyday and i sleep with the fan on anyway. maybe get a couple of pictures together with him and see if he picks up there. So my best friends hate one of my friends. They said that he follows us around like a lost puppy or something, and I really like Chad. They think he's annoying and going to try and steal our band but I know Chad wouldn't do anything like that. But I'm sorta afraid that Mike and Danny will get mad if I keep hanging out with Chad, and they're like, my two best friends in the world, I don't know what to do. Like I mean Chad, I really really like him, he's practically my twin brother, but Mike and Dan are also really important. And I really don't know what to do. I can understand why Chad is all lost puppy like, his dad's over in Iraq and he doesn't really know what's going to happen in his life from one day to the next and I really like being there for him and making him laugh and smile. But Mike and Danny, I don't think they can really understand what he's going through right now and I've tried to explain it to them but they don't seem to understand. I feel so awful right now. HELP! But just tell Chad that your a good friend but my best friends just don't want to get to know you and i don't want to lose my best friends that i have had for years so go and find some other people that you would like as friends. well i would suggest that you give him time and yourself some time and during that time you can focus on your work, sports, etc. Usually it takes guys a while to think about dating again because they were just in a long relationship. But give him some time and i hope you get him back!
