He gave me his IM and we were talking today for the first time but we didnt have much to talk about. i know this is kinda a stupid question but i want us to get close and become really good friends. i know that comes with time but what can we do to become better friends. my question in case u didnt catch it is wha should we talk about? i've heard of games where you take turns asking questions with each other but would he think thats stupid? Thanks so much and i will rate all ur helpful advice!!!!!!!! :D

and then when the convo dies down ask him if hes going to a certain event [like school football game, church, play etc]
if he says no or if theres none, then just talk to him as you would in person.
over aim is usually alot harder then talking to him in person, because thers no emotion in what you guys are saying, and its usually kind of weird!
i personally like to talk about
thing THEY like to do.
like football or whatever.
but if your not that football type, tell him,
dont lie to him and tell him that your all about football.
catch my drift? [ ohmylanta's advice column | Ask ohmylanta A Question ]

Just start chatting normally and then ask him questions like what sort of music he likes and what films he likes, favorite sport or something. Things like that. Ask if he is busy at the weekend and if he says no you could ask if he wants to hang out.
wisemen answered Wednesday October 10 2007, 6:30 am: i wouldn't think it would be stupid to ask questions back and forth as long as they're about what he is like so do it and see what he does he might start doing it with you because he doesn't know you that well either.Hope all goes well!
