this i guy i like is touching me a lot lately not like i'm complaining but he today he touched me in the stomach and he was hugging me today once again. we are cuddling a lot does this mean anything? he knows i like him and he likes me too. (link)
|
well if you like him and you know that he likes you back, and obviously he's not afraid to show that. Talk to him about where he stands and go ahead and just ask him out!!! Good Luck!

sorry this is long.
okay. this girl, tegan, lives with my family. she's only been here 3 weeks and she's already like a sister to me. problem: she likes my boyfriend josh. she is always saying how awesome he is and how he is realy good looking and stuff. and today she was going on about how jealous she is. she keeps saying she wants a guy just like josh! i really really like him. i am not giving him up! i tried setting her up with another guy and for 3 days she was all 'dan this, dan that' and saying how much she likes him. but then she dumped him and is going on about josh again. i tried talking to her but she is all like 'i'm just mucking around' but i can tell she isn't.
HELP! (link)

I would just try and ignore her. Yes, she's still your friend, but just because she likes him, doesn't mean he likes her in return. She kind of sounds jealous about what you have, so setting her up with someone else didn't work and probably won't work in the future. She'll find someone else to rave about, just give her some time.

Many people don't think that they are very attractive and over weight. You could probably make yourself feel better if to started working out and excercising more and watching what you eat. You could also maybe find someone who could run with you and make a friend there. There are many ways to make new friends. Find something that you are good at and have a drive for. Then if you find people with the same interest it will be easy to make friends. And you need to stop feeling sorry for yourself and crying. Life is hard everywhere. Make a list of what you are thankful for and goals you want to get reach to make your life more enjoyable for you.

I am a 17/m and i really like this girl. I have a plan to ask her out. The only problem is that it involves two weeks and Valentines day. The plan is to leave notes in her locker with no name just ending it the same way. Should i go for the two week plan or should i just ask her? (link)
|
I think that the 2 week thing is a good idea. I think that she would apperciate the fact that you went way out of your way to get your relationship off to a good start. But, just be sure that she doesn't think it's someone else through the whole process, I think that would be the only thing that could ruin the whole thing! Good luck!

My boyfriend is really really smart. He's in all honors classes at school. He's a sophomore, but he might as well be a junior because he's in mostly junior classes. He also does a lot of after school stuff like debate and chorus and, well, just about everything. He's soooo busy with school, and when he's at home, he's usually working on something school-related. I feel like I'm a distraction/annoyance to him when I call and try to talk to him online and stuff. It's kind of intimidating, really. But I like this guy sooo much...He's taught me so much. How can I make sure I'm not an annoyance? (link)
|
Instead of calling, drop him an e-mail or write him a sweet note to open later saying call me if you get time or something. That way, you can still talk to him and say what you want to say, but it will be on his time and you know that you aren't interupting anything.

I know this all sounds stupid but i'm going to go back to the school I went to and I want people to notice me and guys to like me but I dont know what I can do to make that happen so I am asking yall for help, if anyone can help me with this I will rate really high, thanks!-signed wants to feel wanted (link)

If friends and guys don't see you for who you really are then they might not even be worthy of being a friend or boyfriend at all. I don't think that it should matter what people look like, I think that what's on the inside is what counts, but if you want some new beauty tips here are a few. Work with your hair. I love my own haircolor, but I've always thought it would be SO awesome to be a redhead, so I would start with that. Get it layered, maybe take some of the length off. And you are also lucky to have baby blues! Play up these awesome features and let your true personality shine!

well i am moving to Colorado next year before school starts and like i am really outgoing and stuff and i play volleyball, and that starts before school so i can meet people by doing that to, but i am like really scared of the change and i dont know waht to do to make the move easier????
Please help me out (link)
|
In the past 3 years I have been to 3 different schools. Yeah, it's scary to change, but if your outgoing and have a sport that you can get involved in then it will be really easy for you to make friends. Don't forget your friends back home though, and take advantage of this last year that you have with them. And remember to be happy, because now you'll have friends all over and very good people skills.

Find something you have in common and talk about that. Once you get going it will be a lot easier.

respected advicenators,
i went thru this site and found small kids of 13 to 16years of age having sex! well i have one question? are americans very desperate about sex are american girls so horny and slutty? and are american boys very careless about their future and career as they show in hollywood movies and sitcoms???????? please enlighten me, i don't mean to hurt u all at all. i have deep respect for this country america, which has welcomed everyone from the world. but if a girl loves one guy and has sex with that guy and then breaks off with him and then sees some one and again indulge in sex then again break off and again see someone........ isn't he or she acting slutty. well please i am confused b'coz kids here in india are blindly copying this culture of cheating and sex.american friends enlighten me about the situation.

I think that it is crazy that kids are thinking about having sex at such a young age. I am a teen, and things like this scare me. It's true that people my age are thinking about and doing this> I think it is because that is what the media is reflecting these days, but that's just my opinion. However, not all teens are like that. I believe in saving sex for marriage and that it's a gift from God. Many of my friends also believe this. Instead of focusing on the fact that this is all happening, I try and set an example for others so that they can see that saving sex for marriage would make it the special act that it was always ment to be.

I loathe myself, every tiny detail about myself. I hate my appearance...My
hair, my face, my teeth, my hands, my eyebrows, chest, stomach, back, arms, etc...I
hate every characteristic of my personality, every last one. I think of my self
as stupid, incompetent and worthless. Everything that goes wrong is my fault. I
suck at every thing I do. Seeking professional help is not an option for me, and
neither is getting help from a trusted adult. Even if either were an option, I’m
much, much, much to timid to ask for help...I don't think I even deserve to have
people waste there time on me to help me anyway. (link)
|
You might not think that you deserve people's help, but you want it, because you are asking. Change yourself to fit your standards. Stand in front of a mirror and look at the things you say you hate. Don't like your hair? Change the color, style texture, look, go to a salon or something. Make it something you like. Do new things if you think that you suck at everything that you do now, (which I'm sure you don't) Find something simple, a sport or music that you can dedicate your time to.

My fourteen year old daughter has been going out with this nineteen year old boy since the beginning of January, first of all she lied to me saying that he was sixteen. I am quite worried about this. Can somebody help me and tell me what I should be doing. She is my only daughter, in fact my only child. I am worried. Help. (link)
|
I'm around your daughter's age and I myself about flipped when I read this. 5 years of age difference is way too much of an age gap. And she knew that you wouldn't approve, which is way she told you he was 16. I'm not sure about what to do to get through to her, but I know what wouldn't work. Don't forbid her from seeing him. She would be SO mad at you. I would sit down and talk to her, and instead of jumping right in and trying to talk down the whole thing, ask her why she likes him so much. Maybe if you get to see her side, (whatever it might be) it will be easier for you to get her, to see your side. Then after that, I would let her know how much you don't approve of the whole situation, and why it probably won't last, and things she's going to miss out on. That's what would get through to me. I hope I helped and I will pray that you get through to your daughter.

Okay...I'm 18, and I have these two certain good friends that I've been friends with for a couple of years. I've been feeling left out lately, because they're going to the same college, and I'm not, and they always talk about it in front of me. We also have this thing where we wait for each other after soccer practice, and lately they've just left without me, talking and laughing all the way. I take this as a sign that they just forget me, and it makes me mad. One of the girls I was good friends with until the other one came along, and now they're best friends. And I'm left out. I keep giving them HUGE hints that they're leaving me out, but they're either too clueless to know, or just don't care. What should I say to them/do?? (link)
|
It always sucks to be left out, I know the feeling. You need to let them know how that they are really hurting your feelings. Talk to them together or one on one, which ever you choose, but you need to get the message across. More than likely, they haven't even noticed that they're leaving you out, and they have just been really excited about going to collage together. Also, take this time as a chance to make new friends. Having lots of friends is good, because then you know people all over and you're never left out. Good luck!

I would get him a cd of his favorite group. Or better yet, make him a cd of all his favorite songs and then maybe songs that you like too, (that you u think he would enjoy of course) Then you know it's something he could use and enjoy. Hope I helped!

I have a boyfriend and we've been going out for 2 months and 1 week. I really like him and all..but sometime he bugs me so much!! I kind of miss being single and I dont know what to do..
and i dont want to break up with him...ugh..i'm sucha mess...please tell me your answer (link)
|
Well, if you don't want to break up with him, then don't. Whatever he does that bugs you, try to ignore it. I keep a journal and whenever I get confused or sad or annoyed, anything, I write it down and it makes whatever is bothering me seem kinda dumb and stupid compared to other problems in the past, things like that. Just take a deep breath when you get annoyed.... good luck
