I am 17 years old and have never had a bf. People in my senior class make fun of me behind my back because of this. I even heard one rumour that I was a lesbian. I'm not a lesbian, I do like guys but I'm really shy and most of the guys in my class are really immature and just want sex, not a meaningful relationship. I've also made the decision not to have sex, or make love until I get married. Some of the girls in my class have slept with over 14 guys, and act like it's no big deal. Sometimes I get so depressed I feel like crying. The fact that tomorrows Valentines day is just going to make me feel worse. Do things ever get any easier for girls like me? Or does it just get worse when I go to college and into the work force? I'm beginning to feel like I'm the only person left with values. (link)

aw, i'm sorry that people are so stupid. just let it all roll off your shoulders and realize that you are going to be the one better off in the end. you are going to be the one who, when you do have a relationship, it will be better than any of theirs because you are waiting for something real. you will never feel used as much as they have, whether they admit it or not. you will have a working marriage, while many of them will get divorced. be proud.
as for making things easier tomorrow, don't think of it as a day for couples, it is just a day for LOVE. love for your family, love for your friends..do you have any pets? cause its a time for love for them too. just focus on it that way and you will love it!!
and i have the same values as you, so don't feel alone. my last boyfriend broke up with me because of my beliefs and i am so glad i held onto them because..that's obviously all he was there for! so, don't let go of them and you will be glad. =).

I have a terrible friend who thinks shes cool and hates me and my friends. She always hangs out with us and then talks about us behind our backs to US! I got into a fight with her(because Im the only one who will stand up for myself) and I hate having people hate me so i appologized and she just forgave me like that! (She said "I forgive you, HUG!") It bothers me and now were back to her using me and my friends and she thinks shes popular. What should I do? (link)

she doesn't sound like she has any friends that truly like her. Sorry to sound like your mother, but how would you feel in her position.
She just wants to fit in somewhere. You don't have to be her friend, just don't be mean to her.
Don't confide in her about anything. When she talks about people just tell her that's not cool and change the subject. The more you feed into anything, even by fighting about it, the more she'll do it. She has nothing else to talk about with you guys, so she feels she must do that to fit in. There's really nothing else you can do. =/.

sr to bother you again. but the thing is, in school we are pretty much best friends which is awkward for me because usually my best friends arent girls. But she tells me everything. well mostly everything. Almost all her secrets. I f i ask her out and she says no, will that ruin the relationship we have now?
P.S. She is in 5/6 of my classes which if she says no might make it awkward. any more ideas? I really appreciate them (link)

Well, it's different for everyone, but I'll use my own examples to give you ideas of what it could be like.
I actually dated my best friend for about a month. We weren't even that close before. Barely even friends, but after dating, we've become best friends and we tell each other everything.
I liked my friend Jimmy and told him, but he didn't like me back. It was awkward for a while, but eventually it was normal again..and then he asked me out months later. We broke up. Things were awkward for a little while. Things got better. He liked me, but I didn't like him. (here is where you could maybe end up relating to.) He got very very mad at me and called me names (don't do that!) and we got into a huge fight. We talked it out though and things went right back to normal.
Jimmy and my friend Lauren are best friends. They decided to go out, broke up, and are still best friends.
My friend Nick asked me out twice. Each time i said no, but it didn't change our friendship at all.
I can't think of one time when people who were friends before ruined it forever by trying a relationship. It may be awkward for a few weeks, but only if you make it awkward.

I have known this girl since kindergarden right. Now we are in 8th grade and for some reason, this year i really seem to like her. I mean she is nice, funny, smart, and very beautiful. How can i not like her. But the problem is, i have trouble finding the courage to ask her out. I am good with girls in the sense of friendship, but when it comes to love life, im a mess. I am 14 and she is 13. i am 11 months older than her but i really dont see that as an issue. But i always get nervous when i tcomes to askig a girl out nd i did it once, she said ye, than rejeted me the next day. (that was a different girl). Is it normal to be that nervous? First of all, thank you so much for asking me personally. You have no idea how good that makes me feel.
Before you jump into asking her out, is she showing any signs of liking you too? If she is, you're all set to go. If you're unsure, you might want to try spending one-on-one time with her first.
It is very normal to feel nervous. Are you kidding me? You are putting your heart out on the line. It's a scary thing! Just realize that she isn't your life and if things don't work out, you'll eventually get over it and find someone new. Really.
So, about asking her out. Don't ask her out online, on the phone, or in a note. It's easier for you, but not as meaningful to her and that gives you a bigger chance of her saying no. I would either ask her if you can talk to her alone sometime at school and just say something along the lines of "I've really liked you for a while and I was wondering if you would like to go out with me?" It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just get the point across.
Another possibility is asking her if she wants to go somewhere with you and at the end of the date, ask her to be your girlfriend. You can just say "Hey, want to go have lunch at [enter restaurant here] with me tomorrow?" It doesn't seem like there's any pressure and if things seem to be working out while you're out together, at the end you can ask her out.
The only thing is, if she says no at the restaurant you will be stuck with her until either of you leaves. Whereas at school you can just say "oh, it's okay." and walk away.
You have to be prepared for the best, and for the worst.
Don't worry about using pick-up lines. Girls usually don't like that. Especially if you already know each other it's not necessary. Just be yourself. Nice and fun. And don't be afraid to compliment her.

unless you are allowed to be left alone at either of your houses..there's really no way to do it without breaking rules. five years? that's amazing at this age. just wait patiently for a good time when you are certain that you will be alone for long enough. i'm sorry that i'm not much of a help. if you really can't wait and don't mind taking a risk breaking the rules..you can wait until a night that your parents are going out and won't be back for a while and have him over, but even that will take some waiting.

i dont know what this goes under. but me and my bf have been sexually active. there was a point when we thought i was pregnant. we were relieved when we found out i wasnt. but ive been babysitting a newborn baby. adn she is just so cute. i babysit her for hours 5 nights a week. he helps me. adn he does a great job. we both want a baby now. but were in high school. juniors. how can we get over this. i mean wanting a baby. ill rate high. plez help (link)

just realize that you want a good life for yourselves..and for the baby. having a baby now would be too difficult. decide that if you stay together until after school (hopefully college too) then you can get married and start a family. for now, babies are fun to be around when they are not always your responsibility.
i know it sounds bad, but think of it like a dog. you need money to be able to feed it (and for a baby a ton of other expenses), but although you will always love it, the fun only lasts so long.
it's normal to be wanting a baby. just think of it as something to look forward to in the far future.

Try using different brands until you find one that works. If nothing seems to be working, talk to your doctor. Your doctor will be able to suggest something or prescribe something to help you. Also, make sure you shave and wash them often, which I'm sure you do.

first go get them waxed nicely. from then on, you can tweeze them. it hurts at first, but nothing you can't handle. your eyes may just water the first few times, then it will stop hurting. just follow along to how they were waxed and if they get out of control, go get them waxed again. if you don't like exactly how they waxed them you can always edit them yourself at home. just be careful! but they usually ask you what you want and what you think when they are done when you get them waxed.

stick to your beliefs. that's what i did.
i know my guy friends would never do that to a girl because they respect girls and actually care.
my last boyfriend did care and love me, but he broke up with me because i didn't want to go as far as he wanted to. so, yes, it does happen and it is hard, but dont give in because here is the good news.
i now have an even more amazing boyfriend who knows why my last one broke up with me, so he obviously is not just interested in that and understands. he's everything i've ever wanted. hold on to what you believe in and you will find someone perfect for you, not someone you have to make major compromises for (ie. having sex).

There's this huge show next month at school, and I volunteered to sing Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel". I know I can do it, I'm already halfway there perfecting it, but I need some tips. Can anyone who knows much about this subject give me great tips? Mostly including tone, airflow, and lots of vibrato? Thanks in advance.

make sure you breathe at the right times and SUPPORT. use your diaphragm. also, open your mouth at least two fingers wide when you sing. those are just a few tips i can give you from voice lessons. don't worry too much about that stuff though..you will probably sound great! just make sure you know the song.

I stayed over my friends house one weekend and her brother is my bestfriends boyfriend. That night me and him stayed up and hung out and played around (like hittin eachother with stuff and pushin eachother of the bed) and he said 'You know what? Dont tell Cjay(my bestfriend) this but I think I'm starting to like you. I didn't like him before he said that and I started to like him.And they are the type of couple that break up everynight and get back together sooner or later, and this was a night they broke up.Then we stayed up all night watching movies and playing around and holding hands and stuff, nothing bad. But Cjay found out and she told me to stay away from her for however long. Her b.f told me that he ment that he liked me, and not to worry b/c he'll fix everything. put yourself in her position. really.
she is your best friend. don't you talk about the guy you like or your boyfriend all the time with her? you won't be able to do that if you go out with him without it affecting your relationship. if you were ever to go out with him it would have to be after they were broken up for a WHILE and she was completely over him.
i jut don't think its a good idea.
tell him that you like him, but you just can't do that to your friend. and stick to it.

what else do you want us to say besides a tampon or a pad? you could use a diaper..
if you are 13 you probably haven't had your period long..just know that it doesn't leak that easily unless you go a long long time without changing. don't worry about it. just do what you normally do. use a thicker absorbancy and bring some extras. it's just all mental that you scare yourself that you'll leak. you'll be fine. have fun skating. =).

AIM Triton is the newest one.
it is wayy different and i just didn't like it, so i got rid of it.
if you keep it for a while you might get used to it though.
i guess you can have 500 buddies instead of 200 and your IMs, instead of having different windows, they are all in the same one. the names are on the side like tabs and when someone talks it puts a "!" next to them. a lot easier.
