hi my name is jake, i'm 16 sophmore in high school. over the years i watch my friends go through relationships and stuff, n i never had one. n its not bc i'm antisocial or anything; i think i'm pretty popular, lots of friends and stuff. just thinks never seem to happen or get to the point of relationships; is this weird? should i try to put more an effort to startin a relationship? or should i just kinda be passive about it like i've been. i do want to find someone, to have fun with.

no dont try to get a gf just to have a gf because then it def wont work out. when you find a girl you like, go for it and ask her out. thats the only right way to be in a relationship.

im so unhappy. i dont really know why, people just bring me down with stupidity and selfishness. i guess mostly just teenage problems, im just afraid this unhappiness is going to get to far. ive picked up smoking, and drinking, and popping pills, just to feel better. (no cutting or anything i think thats rediculous) but i guess my question is, what do i do to make myself happier. what can i say to myself or do for myself without having to go to a doctor because im another one of the millions of kids with "depression"? 17/f thanks ahead of time

if you think you are depressed you really do need to get counseling. You should start hanging out with a positive crowd of ppl, who won't bring you down all the time.

okay, well just recently i entered highschool. i love it every way. but the only problem is that my friends, my old ones from middle school. they bareally talk to me. we all used to hangout every single weekend. and now they are all interested about being popular and hanging out with the right croud. and it gets me really upset because they all hangout together and im home alone and they dont even ask me to hangout when they know im sitting home all alone. my best friend still even hangs out with them and i ask her to hangout and shes like i cant im sorry and this is an every weekend thing.

Okay these ppl dont seem like real friends, instead of waiting for them to let you in their crowd - you should go out and make some new friends of your own. But dont act desperate and be friends with the first person you see, make sure it's some1 you really want to be friends with

heyy well heres the thing .. i'm getting old and i haven't started to shave my legs yet. with winter coming up i can wear long pants but in gym, we have to change into uniforms that are shorts. all the popular and good looking guys are in my gym class and i don't want them to get any wrong impressions .. i want to bring this up with my mom but it really gets uncomfortable talking about puberty and such .. i really need some help! thanks ahead of time !

shaving your legs is really nothing to be embaressed about...it'll be much more embaressing going out in public with hairy legs & your mom will def understand that. One day show her you legs and be like..."don't you think I should?" and she'll most likely say yes.

Some girls think the nice guys are desperate or just needy because they're so sweet and never blow you off. Girls get attracted to bad boys because those guys act like they don't care so much and like they have better things to do, which makes them seem "cool". In the end though every girl wants a good guy...the bad boy thing is just a stage for most.

Hey I go to football games every Friday at our school, so I went yesterday. Whenever I'm there, I'm wild and crazy and I make tons of friends and I'm not afraid to do anything. But at school, I never act like that. I'm shy at school and I'm never that outgoing, and I'm afraid that if I see my friends from the football games at school that I won't be what they thought I was. its ok if you just act like that @ football games cause your excited for your team and all...so i dont think anyone will think anything of it...besides, no one is crazy & outgoing all the time...thats just annoying

ok so ive liked my neighbor every since he has moved in...and i had never talekd to him before because hes 2 years older than me but we got ahold of eachother's number and started talking on the phone...the first night we talked he was so nice to me but everything went bad after that night...i had my best friend over (and this guy would only hang out with me at night) and we snuck out to go to his house and he was flirting with me but ended up playing us against eachother so me and her got in a big fight but we ar ebest friends again it just took awhile...but while me and her were in a fight me and him egged her house and stuff and i snuck out everynight for 2 weeks with him and like he was the first guy i had done alot of stuff with so i liked him alot the only problem was he was so mean to me. wone time i called him and he asked if i liked suger were going down and i said i didnt like that song and he goes SLUT! and hangs up on me...i went on vaca for a week and the night before i left he invited me over to his house and we hung out and his mom said if i ever wanted a ride to any of his races ( he races mx) to let her know and she would give me a ride...so i told him that and he said 'well my mom wont be coming to my races anymore' and me and him didnt talk for the whole week i was gone well maybe once or twice and then i called him the second i got home and we talked but he was so mean to me...he like trys to hook me up with ugly guys and stuff.. then about a week and half ago he wanted me to sneek out again...so i did with me, my cousin, him, and his 2 friends we all hung out and then they said they had to go and would call me in 30 minutes so i got a call 30 minutes later but i was too tired and didnt want to come watch movies with him and he gets mad when i wont come over...he hasnt called or talked to me ever since andi just found out he was with another girl on my birthday and he KNEW it was my birthday!! so i know i need to get over him but i have never liked someone so much before so i just dotn know what to do...and hes not the type of guy i can talk to about it...but i mean he even gets mad at me when i talk or hang out with othe rguys...i even ceran rapped his car and he doesnt know it was me yet but i really wish i could talk to him but my best friend wont let me call him and if i did call him she would know because i cannot lie to her...HELP ME!

my stepdad is always playing pranks on me. like at friendlys when i wasnt looking he cut a hole in my straw so i couldnt drink and he made me look to the side and then threw a piece of paper at me. and he says hes got the next prank for when we go again so i want ot heave a prank too so if someone could give me a good prank at friendlys that would be great. Whenever I babysit, the parents always ask me "How much do you pay per hour?". The truth is, I don't have a rate, and they always overpay me, which I don't mind :D, but I think it's impolite to take more than 15 dollars an hour. How can I politly set a reasonable babysitting rate that isn't too much or too little?

I need help finding a back to school outfit (shirt specifically). My style is kind of glam & funky...i like stores like forever 21 & wetseal. I have looked in forever21, and couldn't find a thing i liked. Wet seal is no longer in my mall,so that's not an option. I have been to marshalls, tj maxx, bob's, the gap, express, and found nothing! all of these stores have basically all long sleeve shirts now (i want short sleeve), or are too pricy. i don't really want to spend over 20 bucks on a shirt. where can i go? if it helps i live in simsbury CT...i can travel about 25 min max (my mom works_. please help!

try going to rampage, bebe, or just go to forever 21 again...they change clothing weekly so you'll find something one week or another
