so my best friend and i have dated before and we broke up because me and his guy friends didnt get along too well.. he REALLy likes me now and im starting to like him a lot and me and his 'guy friends' are actually really close this year. i guess imjust scared to get hurt again cuz i really put myself out there last time... help??

I've answered something like this before..my friends' motto *If you're not willing to risk it all, you don't want it bad enough* don't dwell over how scared you are about getting hurt again, b/c then you might never get over that fear. I used to be the same way..only it was longer than 2 days. I don't think you honestly like him. Just infatuations& such. That still happens to me sometimes, but not with guys I date. Whenever your girlfriend gets jealous, just try to convince her that nothing is going on with you& your best friend. Trust is the main thing in a relationship& if you don`t have that..then you don`t have anything but an aqquaintance. Definately..if you don`t have trust with your current b/f..you honestly have nothing. You need someone who will trust you while you`re off at college. It really depends on the guy..they all mature at different times. But I`d say about 12ish b/c "all the older kids are doing it" so it influences the younger guys. Sooner or later they`ll realize how stupid& immature it really is. Hope I helped!

my friend is doin some stupid stuff, and i want him to stop. he's always takin crazy chances, like jumpin off roofs into pools and stuff. and then the other day he was burnin himself with a lighter. and on more than one occasion he talks about he wishes he had a knife with him so he could slice his wrists. when i ask him why he does this stuff he answers "no one cares about me, so why should i stop?" how do i tell him that everytime he does something, it kills a part of me. i dont wanna seem mushy or anything, but i cant stand to see him doin this crap. please help me im freakin out, im so afraid for him.

Just next time the subject comes up..tell him that whenever he does stupid things like that, it hurts you. I've been through that before, and I just straight up told them how I felt..& I didn't get mushy about it. Tell him he's one of your friends and YOU care about him. i need some advice please!! on thursday there isnt any school, so me and my boyfriend are planning to go out for a movie, and then over 2 his place. its just going to be us to, and of course we will be doing something! we both are ready to loose it, its just that:

1. im scared i COULD get pregnant
2. im just a lil nervous cause i dont know what to do
3. im sorta of on my period, im bleeding just a tiny, and what if i smell bad?!

I'm not judging you or anything, but don't you think if you're worrying about those 3 things then you're not exactly ready to have sex? If you're on your period& worried about getting pregnant..I'd atleast wait till you were off for awhile. It really will come naturally though, so if you're honestly ready..you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Be careful! -Amber
