ok, i know everyone should eat a healthy diet blah blah blah. but i really need to stop eating just until i lose some weight then i'll start again. can someone tell me the best way to not make yourself hungry besides smoking or taking pills? something that my parents wouldn't realize what it was for or anything. like a mind game to tell myself when i want to eat or something. someone who doesn't eat tell me please!
I'm really sorry to break this to you, but I advise to you with all my knowledge that you should NOT, in any way, attempt to give up eating. Our bodies need food for nourishment, growth, and overall, good health. Without any food at all, your body is running empty, which eventually can cause to major organ failure, serious eating disorders, and many other health risks. I will tell you a mind game though that you can play to lose weight. Ask yourself when you look at a peice of food, "will this benifit me? is this good for my body?" It is as simple as yes, or no. If your answer is as obvious as "no this will not be good for me" It is as simple as not eating it! If you think you are going to "just stop eating" for awhile and lose weight, your planting a seed that could grow into a more serious problem such as anorexia, bulemia, or other eating disorders. Eat to live, don't live to eat. I really hope the best of luck to you with your eating, and hope you do whats best for your body :) Good luck!
im looking for a song that describes someone who feels like noone understands them and they just want to move away. i have the song disappear by the summer obsession and down the road by plain white t's.

I think I have somthing that may work for you, now this song is instrumental so there is no vocals. Check out the artist named..
"Trentemoeller" and listen to the song called..
"Miss You"
It is a song that I cannot even describe with words, I highly advise you check it out! Best of luck to you and I hope you enjoy it!
Basically, I'm asking what I can do to get in shape. I usually get really bored with just running around the neighborhood, so any other suggestions? Are there any specific excercises I can do too? Also, I want to bulid muscle in my arms, so any suggestions? I know to lift weights and stuff, but any specific excercises again? I also really want to get a really nice stomach (a six pack would be nice!) any suggestions for that?
Hey man, when it comes to fitness, you need to find somthing active that you love to do. Somthing that you look forward to doing to get into shape. Alot of people aren't open to the subject of fitness, and get bored of it easily. Personally, I love using free weights. It's a routine that I can look forward to doing everyday. For you, since you want to cut fat as well as gain muscle, I would start out with somthing as simple as doing stairs. You break a great sweat and breath heavily, providing a good cardiovascular excercise (to burn fat) and as you run steps, you tend to build lean leg muscle. The more muscle you have, the more fat that you burn. On days that you don't do that, you can try to start out using free weights to start gaining muscle mass in your arms and torso. The six pack.. everyone wants one, but it could possibly be the most challenging thing to define on your body. It's an area where body fat needs to be low to show the muscle definition, but what makes that so hard is the fact that fat generally forms mainly in that region. Once you start to lose body fat in that area, it might be a good time to start defining. Start doing somthing as simple as crunches, to do things like bicycles or the dreaded "6 inches," where you lay flat on your back and raise your legs as close as you can to 6 inches and hold it as long as you can. These are exercises that will help your abdominals to protrude eventually as well, which will help them show their true definiton on your stomach. Like I said, I believe one true important thing about getting into shape or general excercise, is finding somthing that you enjoy doing. Experiment! See what really appeals to you. Best of luck to you man, and good luck achieving your goal.
What's some songs that have to do with not being stable right now? Like, you just lost your best friend and you don't know what to do with yourself kinda feeling? I'm more so into acoustic alternative stuff. Thankks :)
I've got the perfect thing for you. Check out the artist "Andy Mckee." He is somebody who can heal a wound with his music. Check out these songs by him.
"Into the Ocean"
"Rylynn"
"Art Of Motion"
Give me your feedback as well I'm anxious to hear what you think of it! :)
how long does it take to get six pack abbs on a girl i really want to know cause i want to get one before summer i go to summer camp and we change infront of everyone in the cabin and i dont want to be embarresed about my tummey so how long will it take to get six pack abbs and what can i do to get them
Well, truly I couldn't answer this question as accurate as another female could because I'm a male, and for a female I hear it is harder to get that definition in your abdominals.. It all depends on your current weight situation, your dieting to lose, gain, or maintain weight, your family genetics (yes, you must actually account for this. For example, alot of people do not know that "V Cuts" are mostly dependant in your genes) and overall your determination to get a six pack. It can be quite a long time for that defininition to start showing up even if you are really trying.. but what is the moral of the story? If you focus on it hard enough, and really want it, you CAN get it. My advice for you is to stay determined and keep your chin up, stay focused, and you will accomplish your goal. If you would like, you can ask me for my torso routine and I would be more than happy to share. Try to get as much female advice too because I'm not an expert on feminine body sculpting. Good luck!
Basically, I want to loose 20lbs by the end of school. Right now, I'm 16/f and weigh 151lbs and 5'6. I would like to weigh 130-135. So far I've been eating::
Breakfast- Oatmeal, Bannana, Diet Iced Tea.
Snack- Grannola bar
Lunch- Turkey Sandwhich, Yogurt, Carrots
Snack- Strawberry's, or some sort of fruit.
Dinner- A Lean Cousine Or Healthy Choice. (under 400 calories)
Every Day or so I also take a walk, or work out for forty minutes and then lift weights.
am i doing everything correctly? Do you think I can loose enough weight by the end of school? And what kind of foods should I add to my diet, if there are any?
thanks for the help :)
Your definitley on the right track.. for breakfast, oatmeal is the way to go, it's loaded with vitamins and minerals, and doesn't contain alot of carbs. For some day's though, instead of diet iced tea for breakfast, allow yourself a glass of orange juice, and pour the serving size listed on the back so you know the exact amount of calories and carbs your taking in. Diet tea and diet sodas are actually pretty bad for your bones and teeth.. with moderation it's not bad for you though. For your lunch, make sure you use whole wheat bread, and not white bread. White bread is chemically bleached, and also contains fatty starches and a massive loss of nutrients compared to wheat breads. I notice you've said your lifting weights too, so if i could make any more suggestions, pack some protein in your diet! Non-breaded chicken is an excellent source of protein, and with minimal carbs too. You can also try egg whites, so you don't get the cholestrol from the yolk, but you still get a large amount of protein. Also, make sure along with fruits, you eat a large amount of vegetables to keep your musules lean :] V8 tomato juice is actually a great source of vitamins and minerals, and one full serving is equal to a full serving of a vegetable for the day too. Celery is also a great thing to eat. Believe it or not, if you eat celery, you actually burn off more calories than you would have if you didn't eat any. Yes, it's actually a "negative calorie" food! As for your excersizing, running is one of the best excersizes that you can do for your body. You build musule running, whilst you burn fat and calories when looking at the cardiovascular point of view of it. After your run, it's great that your lifting weights. Make sure though, that you stretch before, and after your run so you don't end up cramping up, and so you don't pull any musules. Anyways i wish you plenty of luck loosing weight, and make it a fun thing to do instead of a priority! Listen to music, and run with friends or family if you like. Good luck! :D
How do I download pictures, videos and music through the USB port onto my psp when I cant seem to register the psp to the pc or spot the psp in the lacaton bar
ok it seems complicated at first, but it is really simple if you follow the basic rules. 1.) Make sure your USB cable is plugged securly into both the PSP and the USB port. 2.) on the psp menu, go all the way to the left, and select the option, USB connection. Now with this being done, you should recieve some conformation by your computer recognizing the device. Check the bottom right hand side of your moniter on the task bar, and see if is the icon, (it looks like a data chip, and it has a green arrow on it) If you have this, go to "my computer" and select "removable disk G:" click on this icon and there you have it..the motherboard of your PSP memory stick! There are premade folders "MP_ROOT" (which is used for video clips) and "PSP" where you put your music and photos on, etc. If you put video clips on your psp, they must be of MP4 format. Also, you must properly remove your PSP from your computer, or there could be damage to either your PSP or the computer itself. Simply click on the icon down in the lower right hand side of your moniter, on the task bar (mentioned earlier, the data chip with the green arrow), click "Stop" and then click on "sony PSP G:" and then remove the USB cord, once the conformation comes up saying it can be removed. And there you have it! Good luck :D
ok, well i've never been the athletic type at all, especially when it comes to running. at school we're having a test and i have to be able to run a mile in less than 10:30... no big deal, right? well, for me it is. 10:30 was actually my best time this year as a practice, and i was barely able to do it. i'm supposed to just keep jogging at a steady pace and NOT stop to walk to make it, but the longest i can keep running is about half a mile, and even that's a stretch (the fastest i've fone that is about 4:35). i can't distract myself from the running like most people can. how can i possibly make this easier on myself (besides practice, because i HAVE been doing that and trying my best)? any good ways to distract myself and not think about the running or my legs, appendiz, etc? anything i can do physically to improve my running?
I really do strongly agree with stretching and bringing music.. if you don't stretch out before the run, there's a likely possibility your legs will cramp up and you'll have a painful experience completing the mile.. one way I do the mile in pretty good time is to sprint the straightaways, then jog around one bend, sprint the next straightaway and walk it around the final bend. When you sprint and jog, and even walk, use your whole body as one unit, don't just use your legs. Use your arms to carry your upper body along with your legs.. push off with the balls of your feet.. for some final advice, conserve your breath as best as you can, take deep breaths, and when you walk, lift your arms over your head to get the blood flow really pumping and to get oxygen back inside of you, wish you lots of luck! And don't stress over it! Really listen to some good music and get lost in it, and just do your best, as long as you try, that's really what matters
i think i have a problem or something.
its like no matter what i eat, im always hungry ! and i can never stop eating. i will just eat so much that my stomach starts to hurt & i feel like im going to throw up.
its been like this for a few weeks now and i dont know what to do.
i dont want to gain any weight because its bathing suit season, but i just cant seem to stop eating. Like i will eat a meal, and then go snack.
so is there anyway for me to stop eating 24/7?
or what are some really filling foods?
thanks !
This is a situation where it is more mental than physical.. you need to tell yourself that you've had enough, it's definilty a huge matter of self control. For the physical part, make sure you eat slow and chew every bite a good 30-40 times, and eat slowly. It's physchologically proven that the faster you eat, the more you "get full" faster, when you really don't. Savor every bite and enjoy it overall. Also, when your eating a meal, make a full, big meal for yourself. For breakfast have a big meal such as a bowl of cereal with fruit on top, (or without the fruit, it doesnt matter too much) an 8 oz. glass of juice, a a peice of fruit and maybe a small portion of meat, or subsitute the meat group with eggs. Overall, make a schedule to eat your big meals, and maybe allow yourself one snack a day, but nothing too filling to throw off the cycle. Good luck with the eating habits :]
What are some songs that talk about like, not fitting in, not belonging, being alone, not having anyone, or just kind of depressing songs?
Thanks.
I would strongly recommend anything from the band Hawthorne Heights, particularly "Dissolve and Decay" and "Screenwriting an Apology" There both very good songs and I think they would be what you are looking for too, good luck
did jack marin
quit cute is what we aim for
and why?
I just googled this, and it says Jack quit because of personal issues with another member of the band (http://indiependentmusic.blogspot.com/search/label/Mark%20Hoppus) =[
yeah i know i should drink lots of water.but i love juice is that still okay to drink if im trying to lose weight and i drink power-aid are thoughs alright to drink
Sports drinks like Powerade and Gatorade are actually not so great for you if you aren't doing much physical activity.. Ever get a taste of sweat? It's salty. Ever get a salty taste in a sports drink? Sports drinks are designed to put the sodium lost during physical activity back into your blood stream. However, there are many health risks from too much sodium.. so stay away from sports drinks if you arent going to be training.. as for juice..orange juice is probably one of the best juices to get your nutrition.. It's packed with pottasium, several B vitamins and very high in vitamin C..juices like cranberry juice and purple grape juice are tart naturally, so alot of sugar is added into those, naturally i would steer clear of those. Otherwise, measure out your juice serving sizes and moniter the carbs you get from them, ration your servings (maybe 2 juice drinks a day or so) and overall, enjoy the juice! Alot of people go up to the "feeding trough" and shovel down there food and drink fast without thinking about it. Mentally if you savor the drink, your brain will think "that's good enough" so you won't need to be drinking alot of it.. wish you good luck with everything though =]
does anyone knows of some songs like forsaken by david draiman, slept so long by jay gordon, or not meant for me by wayne static. they are kind of vampiric, like they are all from queen of the damned soundtrack. i like that kind of stuff. if anyone knows any songs or bands who play that kind of music i'd appreciate it much.
If you really want to hear some good metal, try listening to some Arch Enemy, i particularly like the song "ravenous". I think you might also like "In Flames", all of their stuff is good, but their first song i ever heard was called "cloud connected" and I listened to it probably over 300 times since lol.. anyways good luck finding what you want :D
hmm... i love to work out then relax by tanning.
what are some songs that i can download onto my ipod
that have an upbeat like:
"bounce" by timbaland and
"breaking the habit" by linkin park
that are relaxing like:
"how to save a life" by the fray
"faraway" by nickelback
"dont wanna say goodbye" by jagged edge
i like rap, rock, hiphop, etc.
For working out, One song I particularly like is "Make It Rain" by fat Joe, ft. Lil Wayne, that ones pretty good, and if you're a Linkin Park fan listen to "Don't Stay" and "points of authority" A good relaxation song by Linkin Park is "Easier to Run." Also for relaxing afterwards, check out some of Andy Mckee's songs, listen to "drifting" and "rylynn", there both very good. Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry" is also a great song to lay back and relax to.. anyways, have fun and good luck with everything =]
I'm 5"1 female and I used to be around 87 pounds, but I put on about 8 pounds. I'm 95 pounds now, and the weight did NOT distribute all over my body.......it all went down directly to my thighs and it looks awful. The rest of my body is really skinny, yet I still have fat legs (my legs used to be long and thin......). I can't even wear my shorts anymore because it looks so gross.
What can I do about it? Exercising wouldn't do much.........the muscle would just take the place of the fat, and my legs would still look huge.
Ok, every human has a different way of distributing fat throughout their bodies, and from reading your story, it is your thighs. One thing to remember is that if you excersize and burn the fat around your thighs.. you'll define the musule in that region..it won't look the same as if it was fat. Running is one of the best cardiovascular excersizes to burn fat, so I would probably suggest running. Plus, with running, your legs will be worked alot, and overall, you'll really define your legs to get the toned but thin legs you want. As far as I can say that would probably be one of the best things for you to do. Wish you lots of luck =]
