i have always had a GREAT relationship with my older brother, 16, probably beacause i live a very long distance from him but hes pretty much like my best friend. hes always been able to get girls because of his looks and personality, and ive always gotten to know all of these girls because he wants me to. same way with me i always have a boyfriend, and he alwasy wants to talk to them and see how they are, but this past summer when i went to visit him, he had jsut gotten his liscense, and hes been able to drive me places and stuff. so we decided to go pick up his new girlfriend so i could meet her. shes very cute and pretty, but she treats him like crap! and i think he treats her really good and i think he deserves better. hes a GREAT person and when hes around her he just gets so stressed out and like he doesnt want to talk at all or ANYTHING. and normally when im hanging out with him and a different girlfriend he'll want me to hang out with them, but with her it seems like shes telling him, no i dont want her around, of course she doesnt say that but thats what it seems like. he just seems unhappy.
anyone have any advice?
First I just wanna say that it's really really nice that you have such a close relationship with your brother like that. It's nice that he likes letting you in on that part of his life, most older brothers wouldn't. But because he is like that, I think that might make it even easier for you to tell him that you don't like the way she is treating him. If he treats any girl like he treats you, then he definitley doesn't desreve that. I think you should just let him know how much you care and that you don't think she's the right one for him. But make sure to let him know this in a way that he knows you're saying it with good reason and because you want to see the best for him. Plus, if he always wants you to meet his gf (and vice-versa) to see how they are, he probably would value your opinion over anyone elses. So let him know! Cuz he deserves better than that. And I hope the best for him and for you =).

my friend and i are going to the Rascal Flatts/Taylor Swift concert in a couple weeks. We're tryin to think of stuff we can write on the back windshields of our cars that night on the way to the concert. Something cute & fun saying that that's where we're headed, and maybe having to do with some of their songs. We're not creative though haha, and we cant really think of anything. any ideas?

Hey, so on friday, i have to get my wisdom teeth out. i'm 15 so it's not really like the roots have really grown in or anything. but i'm still really scared. like, i hate shots, and of course they have to give me and shot, and they are sticking tubes through my nose. how far do the tubes go in? and how long does the pain last (like day wise, how many days does the pain last?)i'm just reallyyyyyy scared. please give me advice and answer questions! thanks!
I think it all depends on the person. But from what I've heard, it's not the most fun process.
A few weeks ago my friend had to get 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once. I went with her. She can't really tolerate pain and they didn't knock her out or anything. Needless to say, I could hear her yelling from the waiting room =X. And I heard the shots kinda hurt too. However, if you're going to be unconscious during it I don't think it will be as bad. After that she was in pain and couldn't really speak normally for the next like 4 days. They put her on vicodin (which isn't the best, since she's been trying to get off that stuff for over a year now) and she became pretty dependent on it for those next few days. So if you get any strong medicine like that, make sure you don't overdo it. You'll just become dependent on it for every minor pain. So sometimes you just gotta deal with the pain to get over it faster.
I don't think you'll have to worry about spilling any secrets. You may be really loopy and say just silly things, but probably no deep dark secrets.
I know you're scared & this might not have exactly help ease your worries, but I told my friend that it wouldn't be that bad (people had told me that) and then when she was in pain I felt horrible. Sometimes it's best to know how bad it will be going in so it won't be as shocking. And who knows, since the roots aren't grown in it might not be bad at all. She's 20 so hers most likely were.

It really is a pain. And I think it's just from either weight gain or weight loss. I'm not really sure which one. But if it is from tight jeans I guess that could explain it ?

Well everyone pretty much already got all the bases covered. It's discharge honey, and there's absolutely nothing wrong or abnormal with that. It's a normal part of a woman's life and isn't anything other than your body cleaning itself. Also if you're sweaty that makes it come out even more.
But in reference to your friends, they might not talk about it because they just haven't gotten it yet. So they might be grossed out & not understand now, but they will. It's bound to happen to them too. It's also possible that they have it as well, they might just be embarassed or ashamed to admit it. But there's no reason to be, it's completely normal.
The "wet stuff" your mom talks about is completely different. What she's referring to (or at least what I think she means) is a wetness girls feel when sexually excited. Down there can get a wet, moist feeling and even expel this fluid, but it's not the same as discharge and that's not what you have. Your mom should have been more clear about the difference.
Also, keep in mind that that "wet stuff" your mom was referring to can happen at any age if you become aroused by something. DO NOT GET SCARED OR THINK YOU'RE WRONG OR BAD FOR THIS HAPPENING. You can't control it, and it doesn't mean anything, so don't worry. And sex is NOT a bad thing, it's a wonderful beautiful part of life -- when the time is right. So if you're waiting until marriage, then I give you kudos because that's a beautiful thing to see. But don't think of it as something bad, or your husband might not be too pleased (lol). It brings life, so it can't be bad, it's just best to wait until the time is right for you.

Most likely yes. However, it could also be your hymen breaking (which doesn't just happen from sex, it could be from exercize or anything of that nature). But most likely it's the start of your period. If you see more later or it gets heavier, then it definitley is so tell your mom before you head out to the beach !

There are bumps on my vag, usually about 5 or 6 at a time (not all clustered like cellulite). Some of them look like pimples that match my skin color, and there's usually one or two that have the texture and size of a mosquito bite. There's also this one bump that looks kind of like a scar. It's about an eigth of an inch long , is several shades darker than my skin color, and is surrounded by a VERY VERY thin yellow-whitish line. and these bumps sometimes itch.

16/f. my boyfriend(17) and i have only been dating for about two months but we've known each other for about two years so we tell each other everything. he's been having some family problems lately. he lives with his dad, step mom and four siblings. his parents are really strict with him and hes always miserable because he never has time to do anything and hes always grounded for things that he cant help with. he works two jobs and when hes not working he has to stay at home with his brothers and sisters. im always trying to make him feel better but i just dont know what to tell him anymore. i tell him that things will get better but he doesnt believe it anymore and im not sure that i do either. his step mom tells everyone to clean and he does so that we can hang out but he ends up being the only one to clean and then he gets yelled at for the house not being in perfect condition when she gets home. i mean when hes the only one doing anything the house isnt going to be perfect in just a few hours. i really have no idea what to tell him anymore. i want to make him feel better but i have no idea how to comfort him. i let him know that im here for him and everything but i just dont know. any advice will help. thanks so much for reading this and sorry about the length.
Honestly, you're doing everything that you can. Assuring him that it's going to get better isn't the best thing, because you don't know that for sure. And because he doesn't believe that himself. So all you can do is offer your help and be by his side. In one more year he won't have to deal with that anymore, but until then all you can do is continue to be the loving, caring girlfriend that you've been. If it gets really bad, he may want to see some help from some guidance counselors or something of that nature. But for now just be by his side. It's the most you can do -- and the best.

Oh, and just in case you think, 'oh you're only 14, you won't want any alcohol etc.' (as a lot of americans seem to, and I know this is an american site), let me tell you something about british teenagers; generally we like to get completely pissed and stoned, will do almost any drug you offer us, are usually up all night, make out with everyone no matter what sex they are and it is not uncommon to find ourselves starting the night and not knowing where we're going to end up or being chased by police cars.
Just thought I'd say in case you were going to give tips on how to make it a tame party.
So yeah, any ideas would be appreciated.

My mum just payed $300 for me to get hair extensions. I have wanted thick hair forever and I finally got thick hair when I got my hair extensions and I was so happy.
I went to the hairdresser today and I asked to get the ends of my hair cut a little bit shorter and I asked if she could razor the bottom 2cm of my hair so it wasn't cut straight across. Anyway by the time she had finished my hair is about half as thic as it was before and it looks all thin and stringy. I am so upset, I don't know what to do and my mum is really angry too coz she just payed so much money.
What do I do? I have been crying all day and I can't afford any more extensions. What do I do?
Wait did she cut your extensions like that, or your actual hair? And did she know you had extensions?
Either way I would go back there and complain. You should get your money back.

11 months ago this guy asked me out, we saw a movie and everything it was perfect...but it just faded away and I realized that we never really were actually bf/gf or that's just what I thought. Now, everyone thinks he still likes me by the hints he gives me..Like we were playing tennis on sunday and he dumped buckets of water on me and expected me to chase him..He laughs at everything I say, and my friend says that he kept trying to walk with me at the mall. I'm really confused because I still really like him, but I just don't know what to do anymore., I don't want to get my hopes up and think that he does like me and get crushed...I don't know...I just really need advice.
It is possible he still likes you. A similar thing happened to my friend. This guy she worked with who she really liked asked her out on a date. They went out and everything was nice and then that was it. He just kinda avoided her and made no mention of it. She was pissed and just ignored him. But he was still crazy about her; but instead of talking to her about it, he talked to everyone else instead. She liked him still too, but neither of them would make the first move. On random occasions they'd end up hooking up here and there but that was it. Eventually she kept pushing him away until she decided she was ready for a relationship with him, but by that point he was already with someone else.
So long story short, if you still like him and he seems to show signs of liking you, then don't wait any longer! He obviously has liked you in the past, so that's a start. Try spending more time with him and finding out if he really does like you. Then be upfront and try and discuss both you're feelings. You might end up having something special, so don't let a (potential) good thing slip away! =)

I watched a movie. On Film 4 I think its was. In like May time...
I cant remeber the name, its driving me crazy!
It had the word lies in it. If that helps.
It was about a few teenagers at a college/university campus. It went around looking through the eyes of 2 or 3 different teenagers
in the film.
One of them was obsessed with his ex-girlfriend and f***s any girl he can, although it dnt help him. He also tried to kill himself, he tries hanging for his light cord - it just breaks. He tries med overdose, he jus falls asleep and wakes up with a wet bed...
Oh he also says (when his ex-gf finds him f**king another girl "I was only f***ing her because im in love with you" (if that helps).

It's definitley the Rules of Attraction. I haven't seen it, but I want to.
Just a suggestion: If you like Rules of Attraction, you might want to check out "American Psycho" it's about the main character's older brother (though the 2 movies aren't that clearly connected and it was made before "Rules") who's a Wall Street broker by day and a psycho killer by night. Christian Bale's amazing in it. It's a sick movie but it's great. I'm reading the book now =).

okay, i had this ex named bradin about a yr ago and we both liked each other but i dumped him for another guy that i went out with. now im startin to like bradin again because we've been talking again. he says he likes me too but has a girlfriend or "has a girl in mind".. he always flirts with me, saying he wishes it was me and everything just doing normal flirting stuff but wont break up with her because he says hes been waiting for her for a long time. whenever i ask him if i have a chance or whatever he says maybe and then when i ask him if theres any point to liking him he says yes but he doesnt know what. i know he has been waiting for this girl but she says that they arent going out but they both like each other. i really want to go out with him but i dont know what i should do or say to him or act around him or even if i should stop liking him. i dont want to stop liking him. he really does act like he likes me and everything but doesnt want to cheat on his "girlfriend"

I think you should move on. For the simple fact that if he has the chance to be with someone he really likes, he should take that chance. Remember, you ended it with him for someone else, so he deserves to be with someone he really likes now.
Plus, you never know if he really likes you or if he's just getting revenge. Has he made any mention of how he felt when you dumped him? Because it could be a factor.

I would try experimenting with different hair styles. Sometimes there are certain ones that flatter your face and give you a more mature look. Maybe go to a salon and ask which one would be the best for that.
