Q: Okay so Im only 14, but i really feel like I'm in love for the first time and i want to know if thats stupid for me to be "in love" at such a young age or if its normal?... please help me

I always listened to other people on this one.I honestly did believe you couldn't be my age and in love, then I met someone, and everything changed. It's like, what the fuck was I thinking?
You meet the right person, and it can happen, no matter what your age. Sure, some might argue that we don't have the experience, and can't tell the difference between lust and love. Is it normal though? Yeah. Ask anyone our age. Most claim to have been in love. Who are you to argue that they haven't been? It's not something others can decide for someone. If you are truly in love, you'll know it.

Q: When you have a tampon in can you still pee I mean go to the bathroom?
please anawer

Sure, why not? Think logically, the place where you insert the tampon is uhhh... not where you urinate from. Just, try your best not to pee on the string though.

Q: I am really sorry this ? is odd and what not, really i am...What does it mean for a guy to "pop a girls cherry" and how can this happen?
Popping your cherry means your hymen broke. Which would cause it to bleed. (Get the whole cherry reference?) A guy can pop a girl's cherry by fingering her, or being the first to have sex with her. It doesn't always have to be sexual though. Sometimes the "cherry gets popped" on accident when girls do physical activities such as horseback riding or riding a bike. Also sometimes wearing a larger tampon will do it.

Q: when i was younger, i was a bit chubby and i was really self conscious about it...it sucked being too big for dress up clothes. i was one of the first to wear a bra and get teased by the boys. i had a lower voice than most kids in my grade and i would feel akward singing with the class. well now, i finally took controll over my weight and im known for my singing ability as a strong alto. sounds great, but i still feel out of place. for me its a blessing to wear a size 5, when its fat-pants for someone else. i feel kind of not-as-good because im a young alto. am i making too much of this or can anyone relate? thanks in advanced and you deserve a 5 for readin this.

I'm a size 7. It's not what size your pants are, it's what you look like in them. I am 5 foot 8. I am fully aware that I will never be a size 00. It's just not practical. I'll never be built like that. And I'm okay with that. Don't set goals for yourself that aren't practical. Don't compare yourself to others. It won't help your self esteem. It'll make you feel like shit no matter how you look at it. God made us all differnt shapes and sizes, embrace it.
As for being an alto...I see nothing wrong with it. You have a deeper voice. Look at all the female singers of today. Not all of them have a high pitched voice. In a few years, you can join a rock band, and be the lead vocals. You'll kick ass.
You're a size 5 and you are an alto singer. In someone's mind, that is close to perfection.
I can relate to you. I wasn't the smallest child. Somedays I wake up and don't want to look in the mirror. But we all have those kinda days, don't we?

Because people are ignorant. They believe the lies that are fed to them. It's easier that way, you don't have to think for yourself, but isn't that the problem with this country? Q: what is ska music?? is it like punk music, and give me examples of bands that are 'ska'! THnks!

I myself don't know all that much about the ska genre of music. So I referred you to the one person who does. My boyfriend, Evan, is the ultimate ska fan. (At least the most obsessed that I have come by so far. :-P)Here he speaks:
"Dear Poor Musically Deprived person,
I guess you could easily sum up ska by saying that it's just sped up jazz with punk drums in the background. But that would leave you with an inaccurate description. As any other genre, such as rock, for instance, there are many different styles and sub categories of ska. The more traditional ska (examples:The Slackers, The Skatallites, Desmond Dekker)
has a reggae feel to it, as that's where it originated. All ska bands have horns, and if they don't, then they must have two-tone guitar. The simple guitar beat that
you can hear being played in reggae and "trad-ska" is called playing in octaves, or playing "two-tone." This style of guitar is essential in all ska bands, no matter how fast or slow they play.
Aside from traditional ska, you can find ska bands that can be easily categorized as punk. This subcategory of ska, which is appropriately called "ska-punk," has fast horn riffs, speedy drums, and horn and guitar solos every now and then. Good ska-punks: Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, Big D and The Kids Table, Reel Big Fish, The Forces of Evil, and The Blue Meanies.
If you have any more questions, I'd be glad to talk to about the music I listen to so passionately. just IM me at MrTikkiBojo. And please, no ska-haters calling me a fag for listening to "shitty music."

Q: i went to the beach last weekend..and i used sunscreen but i only applied it once..and im pretty pale....and i got burned really badly it hurt for like 3 days soo bad...well now my ENTIRE back is peeling as well as my shoulders..it is sooo effing grose...and ive been picking it...&& it itches and stuff..ive put lotion on but is there anything that will make it stop!?

I am in the same shit right now. Of course, I was stupid and spent 8 and a 1/2 hours outdoors at a concert without any sunscreen. (Yes, it wasn't one of my brightest ideas.) I'm peeling too, yes, it is quite gross. But you just have to wait it out. Try your best not to pick it. It'll heal faster. Like everyone else said, aloe does help. Especially if yours still burns. But when you think of what sun burn really is, you'll realize nothing is going to make your back stop peeling. Your body is getting rid of dead, burnt skin. It's a natural exfoliation process. Lotion might help a little, but it isn't going to work magic.

I'm 14 years old, and I am only a 34 A. Yes, I know, I just exposed my breast size to the entire world. But I am fine with them. I am comfortable with them. Especially since I am pretty much stuck with them. Because I haven't grown height wise or breast wise in a while. You have to learn to love what God gave you, or else you will spend your life hating yourself for things you can't change. You can't compare yourself to other girls and wish you had their bodies, or their boobs. It won't change a thing. Accept what you have. I am not saying yours won't grow, because I honestly can't tell you if they will or not. So much depends on your genetics, weight, and age/how far along you are in puberty. Can I add a little story in here? A few weeks ago I bought this really cute shirt at H&M. The shirt was black, with sequins, and very low cut. I wore it to school about a week or so after I finally evaluated my purchase. I walk into... B1 I think it was, and this girl that sits beside me said, "I like your shirt." I smiled and replied, "Thank you." She said, "I wish I could wear a shirt like that." (Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, this girl is at least a C cup.) So I said "It's one of the perks of having small boobs." And it's true. There IS perks to having a small chest, you just have to find them. Chances are though, you will grow, (I can't tell you when you will because I have no idea about your background.) but in the mean time, be happy with what you have.

Q: Where can I find clothing by the label "FISHBOWL"
Alloy sells a few items, and Nordstrom just sells the hoodies. Please don't suggest Ebay, unless you have links for a specific auction or buy it now. Whenever I search it, I get like, fish stuff LOL

I know this is my answer to everything but... go to TJMAXX and Marshalls. I am serious. I have seen stuff by "FISHBOWL" there. Come to think of it, I have seen a lot of stuff by them there. But every TJMAXX and Marshalls is different. So don't go in there expecting to buy a whole new wardrobe by them. Keep checking back. I am not making any promises, but I think there is a high possibility that you will find something...

Q: I know this is a little stupid but can someone give me step-by-step instructions on how to tie a tie....i have no idea how to...thanks!
The people that previously gave you websites might help you better. My father taught me how to tie a tie a few years ago. It comes in handy every once and a while. (Ehh... I really hope you are right-handed. If not, just do your best switching some things around. You may have to practice a few times before you get the hang of it.) And yeah, I am going to have to actually use a tie when I am typing this...
Step 1 : Hang the tie of your choice around your neck. The thicker side should be on your right. Make sure both sides are facing right-side up.
Step 2 : About 3 and a 1/2 inches down on the skinnier side of the tie, wrap the larger side of the tie nice and secure around it. Twice should do it.
Step 3 : After you have wrapped the larger half of the tie twice, stop and put the larger half through the big hole closest to your neck.
Step 4 : Feed the larger half of the tie through the front visible loop that should be pretty tight, but still loose enough to stick the tie through.
Step 5 : Straighten up the tie. You can do this by pulling the smaller half of the tie tighter. Or even the front for that matter.
All right, there you have it. 5 easy steps to tie a tie. Sure they are not perfect, and I have no intentions of writing an instruction book on them... but they should work. If you have any specific questions on any of the steps I gave you, just drop it in my inbox, I'd be happy to answer them.

Those are coming up in....what, two weeks? I am dreading them. However, try your best to relax. As I haven't even remotely thought about them. #1- Get plenty of sleep. Yeah, very hypocritical coming from the girl who gets about 3-4 hours a night. But seriously, being focused is one of the most important things. I actually fell asleep during the writing portion in March. Thank God, I am not one to snore. #2- Take your time. You have as long as you need. And remember to read all directions and questions many times, or until you are sure you comprehend them. Keep in mind you can always skip over the ones you are not sure of and come back to them. So, don't feel rushed. #3- (I am so bullshitting you with this numbering system by the way.:-P)Eliminate all answers that you know are incorrect. Some of the answers you can tell by common sense are not right, so cross them out. They let you write on the tests for a reason.#4- Eat breakfast. I have read somewhere that blueberries trigger your memory. I honestly have no idea whether or not they are in season at the moment. But, I mean, you don't have to eat blueberries, just eat something. You should know your own body by now. Maybe sugar helps, protein,or perhaps carbohydrates? It just depends on the person. #5- Be comfortable. Wear something that you will be able to sit in for hours and not feel the least bit different in. Cargo pants work. Ah, and remember to bring a jacket. Being since everybody has a different body temperature, teachers turn the air conditioning (or heater) on what they think is right. Um, I freeze in class 98% of the time, but the teacher is comfortable, that's all that matters. But it does affect your ability to concentrate. Let's be honest, nobody wants to mutiply pi by every number that exists when you have goosebumps on your body. #6- Have a good luck charm. It's like a placebo. Whether it be a penny, or a fake rabbit's foot, or even a pair of underwear. I am sure I could continue on with the cliches...

I have been a proud owner of a Dell Pocket DJ for just about four months now. So to answer your question, no, you can't change the battery yourself. Once the battery runs out (which they guarantee for... a year I think it is, but don't hold me to that)you will have to send your Pocket DJ back to Dell, and pay to get a new battery. So yeah they basically own you for life. It's a lithium battery, so as you already know, you can charge it. It can go without charging for about four and a half hours. (They say ten hours, but trust me, it doesn't happen.)
If you do order one, I recommend to get a Jam Jacket (teehee)for your Pocket DJ, it really does help to protect from scratches. Mine glows in the dark. :-) Go here for more information: http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?cat=all&s=gen&c=us&l=en&cs=&k=Pocket+DJ

Q: first of all, i apologize for the misspelling of 'skating', and the general idiotic appearance of the title. but it worked, didn't it? you came in here to correct me! :P
i am a 16 year-old rookie skater (female) who can't ollie yet.
i was at the skateboard-city.com forums, and this guy posts a rather mean post about how most of the girls that skate are posers, who skate to try to get with 'skater boys', or to get the whole 'skater punk rock' look.
whe someone calls you a poser, the first reaction is to deny it. so of course all of the female skaters on that site protested, but it made ME wonder...
am i a poser? i wish i could say no, but i honestly don't know. there are various reasons why i started to skate (about six mo. ago).
i can definitely say that i didn't start skateboarding because i thought the 'skater style' was hot or anything. i am a "girly-girl" however, i'm not so sure about the skater boy factor. what if i unconsciously DID start to skate because i wanted to meet skater boys? i know it's definitely true that i wanted to make some friends (regardless of gender) through skateboarding.
also the fact that skateboarding - just skateboarding around your town and on the streets itself looked "cool" was a part of the reason why i started. but is this necessarily bad? don't guys get inspired, after seeing a skating video, to do better because of how 'cool' it looks?
and, is it possible to start off as a poser (start skating to look cool or meet guys or whatever) but to change along the way?
sorry about the length. however, i'd really appreciate it if someone (hopefully a skater themselves) replied. thanks in advance. i rate.

Guys can be so sexist at times. Especially when it comes to sports. "Girls can't do _______ as well as guys can." Uh, riiight. Saying you skateboard when you actually do is not being a poser. Saying you skateboard when in reality you just have a skateboard that takes up space in your room is. See the difference? I don't get the whole "Girls start to skate to get skater boys." Ha. If we really wanted a "skater boy" then all we would have to do is go down to the local skate park in a low cut shirt. You'd get the same results.(That was a joke, I swear.) Plus, where does he come off? There are many guys who start to skateboard because they think girls find it to be "hott."
Think of a reason why people start new hobbies. Most of the time it is just because it looks cool, correct? In time, it turns in to "Oh yeah, I love to ___________, because it is _________." I guess in your case skateboarding would go in the blank and how you feel when you do it in the second one. But when you think about it why else would anyone randomly start skateboarding? 1. To attract the opposite sex. 2. Because it looks cool. 3. Because everyone is doing it. Et cetera with the other choices. Your answer doesn't look so bad to me. You aren't a poser, continue doing what you like to do and stay true to yourself. And along the way give the finger to anyone who tells you otherwise. Good luck with the ollie.
